My Story | Drama Home School

Dusk sky covered thin cloudy, looks drizzle soft fall wet the atmosphere of twilight is still young. Then humans traverse the path of life. I thrust my feet into the courtyard of the mosque, tired all over my body. I washed my face and soul to prostrate to Him. The coolness of the soul coloring me. “Alhamdulillah” This word that always comes to my mind after I finish fulfilling the obligation as a servant to his Lord.

Sitting casually in the mosque foyer released fatigue after one day running my routine activities as an office worker makes me feel more relaxed. A young woman my age was sitting on my right, first she smiled at me, I returned her smile. It just crossed my mind, I began to be interested in paying attention to him, at first glance his appearance does not reflect that he is an office worker. The dress shirt and large jiblab that covers every curve of his body, make a glimpse of people impressed that he is an ordinary housewife. He was carrying a big laptop-sized bag, which made me adjust to him. I wanted to greet him and ask him this curiosity. But there's a little doubt, I'm afraid to offend him. Oh, it turns out he greeted me first. “Assalamualaikum ukti.” With a smile and a soft voice he greeted me. “Waalaikumsalam”. I returned his greeting with a smile . “Uct work?” He asked and asked again. “Alhamdulillah yes, and you yourself work?” I told myself to ask, this is a chance to answer the curiosity that has covered me ever since. “Alhamdulillah no, just two hours ago I resigned from my job.” The answer made me more curious than ever. I asked back. “Emang why, how come you quit your job.” This time my question he replied with a smile, yes a gentle smile brings the shade of the soul who saw it, I knew him only an hour ago but felt like I had known him for so long. “Ukti is married?” He asked again, and his question cornered me into one reality. I shook my head and said. “But.” As soon as she asked again. “Loh, why ?” The question I could not answer with words, my mouth was silent and silent, I could only answer with a smile on my lips. ‘’Ukti, know why I stopped working? It's because of my husband. I married him for his religion, we used to be in college, just different majors. Our love blossomed so beautifully the more days the seeds of love in our hearts grew more and more, like plants growing in loose soil and getting enough fertilizer. After college we didn't waste any more time, he proposed to me and we got married. At that time we did not work, so we tried to find a job. But, our fate did not stop I immediately got a job between the husband until now has not got a decent job for him, all this time he worked as is, as is, he works as a traveling vegetable trader whose income is one-tenth of my income every month. But it has been our promise, to be faithful to each other, and I accept it as it is. Life goes on and that life's delema must be in every human child. I spent a lot of time outside the house because of my job guidance, while my husband was at home. So he was the one who did a lot of work at home, the homework that I should have done he took over. It has been our commitment to help each other in household affairs, so he also did it sincerely without burden.” She's Farida the name of my friend who I just met a moment ago told me what was going on with her vividly.

The red hue adorning the twilight at the end of the sky looks beautiful, as if greeting brings wishful thinking and hope welcoming a million taste nights. The drizzling rain that had graced the twilight sky had now subsided. It didn't feel like almost three hours we were sitting in the porch of the mosque, I listened to the story like a novel he had read to me. Listening to the words that came out of the recesses of his heart carefully, he began to continue his story.

“Two days ago, my husband was sick at the same time I was also sick, my body was in pain all probably due to tiredness. While I was lying down, my husband's voice from the living room called out to me, and he wanted to get a glass of water. Because I felt I was sick too, I told him to get my own water, and I told him that I was just as sick. It was late at night in the silence of the night I fell asleep, I woke up at 1 pm, I just remembered that time I had not prayed isya’. So I immediately took the water wudlu, when I passed the kitchen, all the dirty dishes were clean all the kitchen looked clean, this is all my husband who works in a sick condition, he said, I did not feel my tears falling down to bring these two cheeks. O Allah, what I have done to my husband, so dholim kah this servant o Allah, he has a right over me. The servant also has an obligation upon him, but why does the servant become like this O Allah.” I saw a deep sadness and regret in him. He wiped away the tears that had soaked both of his cheeks. Then he continued his story again.

Dusk has now stripped its crown, in the light of the night, the night moon reigns majestically. Beautiful masterpiece of the power painting, this servant can not describe with words. My new best friend disappeared into the darkness of the night on her husband's butut bike, after he said goodbye to me and he said, someday if I have a husband don't feel ashamed telling the truth about what the husband's job is. There was no doubt she walked confidently and carelessly when her husband picked her up.

I looked at the light of the lamp that illuminated the darkness of the night. It crossed my mind, the life I had been living was very different from her, the friend I had only known a few hours ago. Since I was a child, my parents were successful in the world of business, what I wanted was in sight. My life record is so smooth without any twists and turns of life, especially in my financial condition, in the matter of a soul mate I too choose I want the perfect for me, I do not want to trouble my life later. In this world, no one is perfect. As long as my judgment and thinking are wrong, there is something to look for and fight for, and it is nobler than anything in the world. That is a person who understands the science of religion and he is the type of husband that I should be looking for all this time. The sholeh man. During the twilight and into the evening I learned a very valuable lesson from my friend Farida, whom I had only known a few hours ago.

I step on this foot with a smile, now it is so clear the path of my life that I have to go through and I struggle. In my deepest heart I am so grateful to have met my best friend Farida.
