UNEXPECTED MEETING

Rafael has arrived at the wedding reception, his arrival was welcomed warmly by everyone. Rafael joins the important entrepreneurs who came to the event. "Well, Mr. Rafael, I hear you will soon become a Papa. Congratulations to you." The words of a man with a large stature. Followed by congratulations from other guests.

Rafael smiled wryly as he shook hands one by one of them. "I'm here to congratulate two brides, but I'm the one who got the congratulations." Rafael was forced to look happy, in order to maintain the good name of the Hadinata family.

Important guests come and join Rafael, they all seem to approach Rafael for the benefit of their respective businesses. Anyone always wants to establish a business relationship with the Hadinata family, which is why the presence of Rafael representing his Papa is highly respected at the reception. Even the two brides got off the stage, only to greet Rafael and shake his hand.

"Well why the two brides who came here, come back upstairs, I'll be there to congratulate you both." Ucao Rafael feels awkward.

Aldino chuckled her face flushed red, she looked at Melati who was accompanying Aurelia taking ice cream.

"He's my friend, Aurelia happens to be very close to him."

"Looks like that girl Al, I can see your eyes on her."

"Have not gone overboard like that. Where's your husband Nes, I haven't seen him before."

Jasmine with Aurelia comes to them, seeing Agnes acquainted with Melati. Aurelia kissed his papa's friend's cheek.

"Aunty where Uncle Rio is, I want to play with him." Aurelia looked in all directions looking for the whereabouts of Agnes' husband.

"Look who's coming!." Agnes cried to Rio.

Rio turned his body around embracing Aldino his old friend. Aldino frowned and saw the two brides below the stage.

"Yes this was all because of the successful young master working in his field, the two brides until it came down to greet him." Clearly Rio by introducing the great entrepreneur he meant.

Rafael turned his body around, smiling lightly at all the guests there. Suddenly his eyes fell on a woman who was sorely missed.

"Dark-eyed...." Said Rafael softly with teary eyes.

Instantly Melati retreated her steps, she rounded her two eyes. Surprised to see Rafael's whereabouts right in front of him. Aldino was wide-eyed at the unexpected encounter, he grabbed the hand of Melati who was about to walk away from the place.

"Rio introduce she's my future wife, her name is Melati. We're gonna have a wedding soon, catch up with these two brides." Aldino's reflex says something that breaks Rafael's heart into pieces.

Seen Rafael tear in front of many invited guests, he held his chest that felt tight. Unable to endure the pain, Rafael stepped away from the reception. While Melati can only be silent, and try to hold back her tears so as not to flow in front of many people.

"I'm sorry if you go to the toilet for a minute." Melati said as she walked away.

Arriving at the toilet Melati spilled all her sadness, her grief was again felt when she saw Rafael right before her eyes. The wounds of betrayal reopened until tears washed his face.
