Chapter 12

Morning time.

Randy opened his eyes and looked to the side, but there was no Dania beside him.

Randy looked at the door to the open balcony, he got up and stepped onto the balcony.

Dania was sitting with a magazine in her left hand and a cup of warm chocolate in her hand.

"Yank," call Randy.

"Hi, Yank, are you awake?" dania said with a smile to see Randy even at a glance.

Randy nodded and approached Dania.

"What are you again?" ask Randy.

"No, I saw my last product photo shoot magazine again" said Dania with her eyes that continued to focus on the magazine in her hands.

Randy nodded, and sat opposite to Dania.

"Oh, yes, I have asked Jack to take care of the transfer of children's schools to Indonesia" said Dania.

"What's? How come you didn't talk to me first? The kids, right, only two months away from school. Why move now?" ask Randy.

"I don't want what happened yesterday to happen again, I don't want the kids to get why. I also have chosen the best school, of course, the school where we used to go" said Dania.

Randy was silent and stared fixedly at Dania's face.

For some reason, his wife had not wanted to look at him since.

"Oh, yes, I prepared breakfast for you and the children first, yes" said Dania while standing up and going back into the room.

Randy quickly got up from his seat and held Dania's hand.

"Why?" ask Randy.

Dania remained reluctant to look Randy in the eye, making Randy have to twist his face to face Dania.

Dania turned her back, she was completely reluctant to look Randy in the eye.

His heart was very sick and could not look at Randy.

"Look at me." said Randy.

Instead of looking at Randy, Dania turned her face the other way.

"Why don't you want to see me?" randy asked confusedly.

"I want to prepare breakfast first" said Dania.

"I'm just, why don't you answer?" ask Randy.

"I'm okay, I want to go down first, the children will wake up" said Dania while releasing her hand.

Randy was silent, watching Dania's back.

Something was different with his attitude.

"Is he still angry?" muttered Randy.

Randy thinks Dania is still angry because of last night, but even though Dania is angry, it feels like Dania was never reluctant to look at Randy.

Even when angry, Dania will be more courageous to look at Randy and will scold Randy, not even avoid Randy.

Randy decided to go into the bathroom and clean his body.

At the dining table.

All the family members were enjoying breakfast, in the middle of breakfast activities, came Papa Hamish and Mama Rania.

Suddenly Dania's expression turned sour as she looked towards the Papa.

Randy who felt a change in facial expression Dania also tried to hold Dania's hand, but Dania immediately avoided Randy's hand.

"For Oma's beloved," said Mama Rania.

"Well, Oma, Opa, are you coming?" rayna said with a happy smile.

Mama Rania smiled and sat down next to her grandson and Papa Hamish sat next to Dania.

"I'm done." said Dania when Papa Hamish was just sitting nearby.

Randy stopped eating and would get up from his seat.

"Mama has the same thing with Dania, Mama goes up first" said Mama Rania while looking at Randy and Papa Hamish.

Randy nodded and sat down.

Papa Hamish just sat quietly without saying anything.

"Ade's done breakfast, Ade to the room first. Come on, Bang." said Rayna while pulling Raydan who still did not finish breakfast.

"The gate is not finished" Raydan said.

Rayna picked up Raydan's breakfast plate and took him upstairs.

Raydan snorted angrily and was forced to follow Rayna upstairs.

"We have to talk" said Papa Hamish when Raydan and Rayna were no more.

"What else do you want to say? Isn't that enough to make Dania cry?" randy asked while looking at Papa Hamish.

Papa Hamish took a deep breath and exhaled her slowly.

"You can't just blame me, because you're guilty" said Hamish.

"What's my fault? Is it because of the video? That's a video of my past. I admit, in the video it was me, but it all happened when I was not aware. I could even swear, me and the woman didn't have sex" Randy said.

"Whatever it is, I remain annoyed with your behavior" said Papa Hamish.

Randy rubbed a rough face and smiled cynically.

He really did not want to argue with his father-in-law who did not want to give up.

Actually Randy will try to forgive Papa Hamish, if Papa Hamish apologizes to him.

Papa Hamish knows the truth, Papa Hamish also knows the incident in the video happened before Randy and Dania got married. But, she reluctantly apologizes to Randy for making Randy a disaster.

It would really fall in his pride if he said an apology.

"That's it, Papa's upset, isn't it? Papa already punished me by making me a car accident, that time. The sister of that woman, too, had already punished me. You two have punished me. So, what else does Papa want?" randy asked lazily.

"I want you to help me talk to Dania. I'm sure he's angry with me, right now" said Papa Hamish.

Randy was silent for a moment.

"That's the problem, I can't help" Randy said as he got up from his seat.

"I'm not done talking" said Papa Hamish.

Randy fell silent and looked at Papa Hamish.

"Papa who started everything, So, Papa has to end everything. Please Papa solve Papa's problem with Dania, it'll be better. Either way, father and son, it's better to talk to each other" Randy said.

Randy leaves Papa Hamish at the dinner table.

In room.

"Honey, talk to Papa. Poor Papa, he keeps thinking of you." said Mama Rania.

"Pity? Do I have to feel sorry for someone who wants to kill my husband?" ask Dania.

Mama Rania took a deep breath and exhaled her slowly.

She could feel Dania being hurt at this moment, but she felt sorry for her husband as well.

"Papa did all that for a reason, Dania. There's no way Papa you'd madly hurt Randy if it was all for no reason." said Mama Rania.

"But, why does it have to be that way, Ma? What if Randy died then? What is the fate of me and the children? I'm Randy's wife, I know Randy better than Papa. On what basis did Papa judge Randy that way? I know Randy was wrong, but it's his past, Ma. Although it hurts me, I already know how naughty Randy used to be, and I accept all his past." said Dania.

Dania's eyes turned red, she sat down with her sad face.

"Mama understands. But, you know, Papa you have absolutely no intention of killing Randy. Papa just wants to teach Randy a lesson, even though it's too late. Mama was angry with Papa, but, Mama understood finally, Papa you love you Dania, she just does not want you to get hurt" said Mama Rania.

"That's it, Ma, I'm sick of Papa." said Dania.

"No, Dania, don't be like that. It's all just a misunderstanding. Papa you didn't know that the video happened before Randy and you got married" said Mama Rania.

"Mama can say that, because Mama's not me. What if Mom was in my position? I was almost crazy, Ma, for having to fight on my own to restore Randy's memory back then" Dania said.

"No, you don't fight alone. Your dad helps you fight back for your love, Papa tries to right his wrongs by helping you get into the same university as Randy so you can always be close to Randy." mama Rania said.

"So how should I? Do I have to excuse Papa?" ask Dania.

"Learn to forgive your Papa, Dania. Look, she's old and just wants to live with her children and grandchildren" said Mama Rania.

"Now, if I'm sorry Papa, will it take away my shame on Randy?" ask Dania.

"I'm ashamed, Ma. I didn't even dare look at Randy, my heart ached, Ma, I couldn't stand it." said Dania.

Dania's eyes reddened, her tears could no longer hold, so it escaped already.

Indeed her heart felt torn to the fact that her husband was wretched because of the work of the Papa.
