Two weeks later.
Randy, Dania, and Rayna are driving Raydan to the airport.
As planned, Raydan will fly to Germany today.
"Tell Mommy when you get there" said Dania.
Dania's eyes reddened, she was sad that she had to part with Raydan. This is the first time Dania won't be seeing Raydan in a long time of course. They might just be able to meet up during Raydan's semester break.
"Frequently the news, Bang. Don't fuck around in there. Learn the right thing." Randy hugged Raydan. He was just as sad as he had never been far away from Raydan before. But he realized his son was getting bigger and it was time he let go to become an independent child.
"Take care of yourself, De. Remember, don't mess around" said Raydan, rubbing Rayna's head.
"Things that don't fuck. Learn right and not boyfriend-girlfriend," said Rayna.
"Just calm down, De. Brother does not like bule," said Raydan while glancing one eye.
Rayna smiled faintly and hugged Raydan. Although sometimes he is upset with Raydan, but Raydan is the only man who is always close to him. He will miss the silly behavior and attention of his older brother.
"Yes, go in. Your plane's in a minute" Randy said.
Raydan nodded and kissed Dania's cheek.
"Abang will definitely miss Mommy, Mommy take care of health, yes. Papa and Ade take care of their health." Raydan looked at Randy alternately with Rayna.
Raydan left the people he loved.
Heavy, of course he felt the weight of having to part with his family. But he has to think about his goals and his future.
After Raydan is no longer seen, Randy, Dania and Rayna leave the airport.
*******
On the way home.
"Pa, is Ade going to college, can I have a car?" ask Rayna.
"May," said Randy while still focusing on driving.
Rayna smiled broadly.
"Wear the driver, Papa does not want to take the risk if there is someone disturbing Ade on the road. Especially if the brash kid is bothering Ade again," said Randy.
Rayna's smile disappears upon hearing Randy's words.
"Ade, right, not a lecture in Jakarta. Why even fear the child?" ask Dania.
"He's a man, he can be anywhere" Randy said.
Rayna sighed, she didn't dare to go against Randy's decision.
Randy had a reason to do all that.
"Yes, it's nothing, really," Rayna said.
"Yes, Ade understands" said Rayna.
Randy smiled when he heard his son comply. Randy is different from Rayna, for some reason she is so afraid Rayna will experience what she and Dania experienced first. He realizes his previous actions, so he does not want Rayna to escape from his supervision.
Ting ...
Rayna opened her phone and saw a message coming into her phone from a new number that had previously sent a message as well.
"I'm in front of your house, come out dong. Look at your face in the morning."
Rayna swallowed her saliva as she read the message.
He turned his gaze towards the street, knowing that he would soon be at his house.
"Pa, can we stop by somewhere first?" ask Rayna.
"Where's that?" ask Randy.
"To Oma's house" said Rayna.
"To Oma's house? Ade kangen Oma?" ask Randy.
"Yes, we haven't stopped by Oma's house in a long time" Rayna said.
"Yes, we should stop by Mama's house first, Yank," Dania said.
"All right, we'll stop by Oma's house first" Randy said.
He drove his car to his mother's house. While back heard the sound of a message coming into Rayna's phone.
"Now just read? This is a message, not a novel. Read the novel alone not only read it, but also must be fulfilled."
Rayna shook her head.
He also replied to the message.
Rayna: just wait until you get old, I'm not home.
Again Rayna shook her head as she read the reply from that person.
"Yes, we're going to age together. Until your hair turns white and my hair turns white."
"Sucks," murmured Rayna.
"Who's that shitty?" ask Randy suddenly.
Rayna was surprised because Randy heard her mutter.
"No, Pa. It's nothing" Rayna said.
Rayna put her phone in a bag.
