Nanny For Young Master's

Nanny For Young Master's
Genius 58 - Negotiations

Wh-tok!

The door was knocked slowly, it made Nanny's focus instantly turn toward the door where the voice was heard.

A maid stepped into the room, walking over to Nanny who was sitting opposite Carver there.

"Miss, it's time. Madam Colins was waiting in the study" she told Nanny.

"really? All right, we'll be there as soon as we're done. Thanks for telling."

"I'm sorry."

He walked away from the room. Nanny instantly refocused herself on Carver who had just finished his breakfast.

"Young master, it's time for you to attend class. Madam Colins is waiting for you in the study."

"I don't want to learn!" Carver put on an unpleasant face. He folded his hands in front of his chest while leaning on the chair he was sitting on.

"W-what? You don't want to learn?"

"Do I need to repeat it again? I told you, I don't want to learn!"

"You can't be like this. I heard, you've been truant quite a lot this week, and if you keep skipping, you'll—"

"I don't want to learn! Don't you understand?" cut Carver with an annoyed face.

Nanny was silent for a moment. He didn't understand why Carver's nature could be like this. Really, it's the first time Nanny's found Carver's kids like this.

"But madam Colins has come all the way here just to teach you."

"I don't care." Carver turned his face the other way.

Nanny sighed softly.

It turned out that the young master did have a stubborn nature. It even seemed like it would be difficult for me to be able to pull her heart out so she would accept me as her new nanny.

Now... What should I do?

What should I do to get the young master to attend Madam Colins' class? After all, why wouldn't he want to attend Madam Colins' class?

Nanny frowned. Both of his irises were staring at the clingy Carver.

If I fail to get the young master to attend class, then it means that I have made the arrival of Madam Colins here in vain. Besides, I also failed as a nanny for the young master. Master Duke will definitely feel regret for choosing me as his permanent caretaker.

I have to rack my brain. I need to think of a way for the young master to attend Madam Colins' class. That way, master Duke will still entrust this work to me, and the arrival of Madam Colins is not in vain.

That's the only way to make everyone happy.

Carver lowered his head. For some reason but Nanny faintly saw her expression change.

"Why don't you want to attend Madam Colins' class?" his question, made Carver look up to him immediately.

"I don't want to" he answered briefly.

Nanny felt like there was something Carver was hiding from her.

There must be something he's hiding, but what? What was the reason he didn't want to attend Madam Colins' class?

"You should attend Madam Colins' class. If you are not present, I can be scolded by the great master." Nanny is still trying softly.

"What do I care about you being scolded by my father? Once I said no, I didn't want to come! Don't force me," he said.

"But what's the reason you don't want to come? Is it because the lessons you attended were heavy? Or because Madam Colins' attitude isn't good on you? Then let me talk to him to be kind to the young master."

"No! I don't want to come here because of that. Anyway I don't want to!"

"If it wasn't for that, because what? Tell me why."

"Is it because of me? Or because of Duke?" Nanny kept asking. He suddenly stopped when he unconsciously mentioned Karl.

Carver's expression also suddenly changed when he called out 'master Duke.'

"Stop asking! You're just like the others. Equally annoying!" Carver moved out of his chair with an annoyed face.

How could I have thought it was because of Master Duke? My lips sometimes talk without thinking. Nanny shook her head slowly.

But, wait.see from the young master's reaction just now…

Oh my God, why did I just realize! That must be the reason!

Nanny got out of her seat and immediately chased after Carver who was now stepping towards the veranda of her room.

"Young master."

"I don't want to!" carver shouted with an annoyed face. He begins to get irritated by Nanny's tireless attitude to keep trying to be nice to him.

"I haven't finished negotiating with Ada."

"What?" Carver's shocked. For the first time, she heard her nanny say she wanted to negotiate with him.

"What do you want? I'll fulfill all your requests if you want to attend class today."

"You mean?"

"My point is, I will obey all the requests you make. For example if you want to eat something, or you want me to do what. I will do everything according to your words. But on a note, you should attend Madam Colins' class today."

"I'm not interested. That's your job anyway, right here?"

Ah, it's true what he said. That's my job here. Nanny.

Nah! I can't just give up and lose what he said. I may lose the Duke's trust in me.

"Yes, it's true that's my job here. But our deal with my work will be very much different. I will comply with your request after the deal is made—I mean when you ask me not to bother you, I will comply with your request and will not violate the agreement we have made."

"What's the guarantee?" Carver begins to understand a little about the intent of the deal that Nanny offers.

"Only one. You can't skip class anymore, and you have to be honest with me no matter what."

"What?!" Carver was stunned to hear that.

"If you break this rule, then our deal is over."

"Then I won't!"

"That's your choice? Then there is no other option for me than to force you into the study, as Zelda might do to you."

"Wait on! What?!"

Nanny pulls Carver's hand and tries to take him away from there.

"No! I don't want to?!" Carver thrashing.

"You who have made me have to choose this path. You also have to accept it!"

"No!" Carver continued to rebel. Instead of helping, everyone there just stayed quiet and watched. It's not strange if something like this happens. It wasn't once that happened.

When Zelda was still carrying out her duties as a caretaker for the young master, this often happened every morning. It's not a big thing for all of them anymore.

"All right!"
