PART 1
***Acroc hole, big hut
So, what makes the Crocodile Hole haunted? What tragedy happened there? Or are there other things that make visitors shudder at the creeps of every foot in that place?
so here's...
The horror impression that is present from this place occurs due to the sad history of the Indonesian nation. Based on historical stories that have occurred, Lubang Buaya was once used as a dumping ground for the bodies of the victims of the 30 September Movement or G30S/PKI. This movement was spearheaded by the PKI who massacred Indonesian military leaders and then mass dumped in Lubang Buaya well.
The name Lubang Buaya itself comes from a legend that states that there are white crocodiles in the river located near the Pondok Gede area. In addition there is also a house in which the seven heroes of the revolution were tortured and killed. There are cars that are used to transport people.
Although now this area is densely populated, but still did not manage to withstand the aura of horror that is very concentrated felt in the location. When entering from the front gate to the inside only,it was like entering another realm, for what reason? the atmosphere is inversely proportional. In front of the gate was bustling hustle and bustle of humans, but on the inside was quiet, quiet, yet thrilling.
On September 30, 1965. The four generals who were the main targets of PKI operations were Ahmad Yani, D.I. Havenqgrav, M.T. Haryono, and Nasution. The three generals are Ahmad Yani, D.I. Panjaitan, and M. T. Haryono was killed at his residence, while General Nasution managed to escape. Some of General Nasution's aides were Major General S. Parman, Major General R. Suprapto, Brigadier General Sutoyo, and Lettu Pierre Andreas Tendean were captured by the PKI and taken to the crocodile pit along with three other generals.
Arriving at the crocodile hole Majoren S. Parman, Major General R. Suprapto, Brigadier General Sutoyo, and Lettu Pierre Andreas Tendean were forced to sign the General Council, a designation for a group of generals who were rumored to be committing treason to President Soekarno. The General Council is a story by the PKI to launch the PKI plan in seizing power from President Soekarno.
Because these aides refused, they were then tortured sadistically to death. Together with the bodies of the generals, the bodies of these aides were dragged and then put in a well hole as deep as 12 meters with a width of 75 centimeters which is now known as a crocodile hole. To make sure the body really died, the PKI then shot the bodies from above and then covered with rubber tree waste and planted a banana tree above it.
The new well was discovered on October 3, 1965, and was dug by hand the next day on October 4, 1965. Based on the results of the visa found cracks in the head and fractures in the legs and hands. It is suspected that these military officials were beaten, kicked with hard running shoes, and spearheaded with the tip of the weapon.
To commemorate the dark event was built a Pancasila Sakti Monument in the crocodile hole slaughter area. More than half a century passed, the crocodile pit still seemed to carry the atmosphere of sadistic slaughter past. Many mystery stories are often experienced by visitors who come. For example, such as the sound of cries for help from inside the well and the sound of footsteps that resemble the clattering of the feet of a group of soldiers lined up***.
