Alyssa sat in the chair waiting for Zayden to arrive. Behind him stood Jimmy with his flat face yet harboring a deep anxiety.

This afternoon after returning home from the hospital, Alyssa and Jimmy immediately stopped by the police station. Alyssa did not want to stay in the hospital for long. And Jimmy didn't want Alyssa to keep this news for long. Until they finally decided to tell Zayden now.

"Why are you crying?" ask Zayden

"Alyssa is pregnant and the fetus she contains is five weeks old" said Jimmy again.

Zayden was still staring and turned to Alyssa who was crying in her arms.

Alyssa's pregnant??

And Alyssa's pregnant with her child.

Zayden shook his head in disbelief hearing that.

"Yes... You .. are pregnant? my kid?" zayden asked with rumbling breath.

"Yes mas. I pregnant. I'm not going to leave, right" asked Alyssa with a face that was wet with tears. Even Isaac cried as hard as he could so sound.

Zayden smiled but also immediately cried hearing this. He cupped Alyssa's face and shook his head slowly. Tears that never came out while inside the prison were now immediately out to hear this news.

"I can't leave you alone. Won't do. Especially he's my son. Oh my god." said Zayden, who hugged Alyssa.

Between happy and sad. Between worry and fear. Between regret and asking, why so soon. And why does it have to be this way???

"Huuu then I have to how mas.... I don't want my son to live without a father" Alyssa said so softly and so bitterly.

Even Jimmy instantly turned his face and cried his back to them. Yes, his heart was as weak as it looked at the fate of Zayden and Alyssa.

Zayden again cupped Alyssa's face and rubbed her with a trembling hand.

"Yes, I exist, I will continue to be there for you and our child. I'm not going to leave you. Please don't talk like that. I beg you to be strong for our son. I will definitely marry you" Zayden said with increasingly heavy tears.

Alyssa shook her head and fell back down.

"I beg you, take good care of him. Don't think about anything that's stressful for you and him. I promise, in the near future, I will marry you. With or without my grandfather" Zayden said.

Alyssa nodded quickly and tried to smile. Seeing Zayden's tears, making him really unbearable.

"We need to be strong, baby. I'm sorry I couldn't take good care of you" Zayden said.

Alyssa rubbed Zayden's tears gently.

"Mas... I just want to know and acknowledge him as a child. And that promise to marry has made me happy" Alyssa replied

Zayden smiled and pulled Alyssa back into his arms. He nodded and came back crying.

Not knowing to cry happily or cry regret for not being able to accompany and keep Alyssa at a time like this.

Really, Zayden felt that he was already like the most useless man in this world. He who could let Alyssa outside alone with the child in her womb. The child who exists because of his negligence.

Hopefully they can live out their toughest day with an airy heart and an easy path.

"I must be strong, as long as you promise to let me come whenever you want" Alyssa said.

Zayden nodded quickly.

"Yes, you can come at any time" Zayden replied.

"People can't be sad here anymore" Alyssa said

"No. I've never been sad" Zayden replied

Alyssa let go of her embrace and looked at Zayden who was still crying.

"Why still cry if not sad" asked Alyssa while rubbing Zayden's face.

"I'm sad to see you cry" replied Zayden who also rubbed Alyssa's face.

Alyssa smiled and shook her head. He grabbed Zayden's hand and put it on his stomach.

"Now, we've got him. Must be spirit. Got to get out of here fast. Let us be the same" Alyssa said

Zayden nodded and smiled as he rubbed Alyssa's stomach.

"definitely. You also have to be excited. Don't be sad anymore. Don't be tired anymore. You have to rest at home" Zayden said.

But Alyssa was silent and shook her head for a moment. Looking at Zayden with a smile that is so beautiful in the middle of his puffy and paled face. Even Alyssa's eyes were also reddened because she had mostly cried.

"I won that cooking race" Alyssa said.

Alyssa laughed but with tears coming back out.

"I also did not expect. I can win" Alyssa replied.

"I won a billion dollars and was accepted as a chef there" said Alyssa.

Zayden's smile instantly faded hearing that. Even she instantly let go of her embrace again.

"So you're gonna keep working?" ask Zayden. Looks like he seems to mind.

Alyssa grabbed Zayden's hand and grasped it gently. Looked at Zayden's face.

"Mas. while I can still work. After all, this is a good opportunity to achieve my dream and prove the same great master, if I can certainly do it" said Alyssa.

But Zayden immediately shook his head.

"But, you're not alone now. There's our son in your possession. I don't want you to be exhausted, plus this pregnancy of yours" Zayden said.

"I won't be exhausted. Working as a chef is not too heavy. Just cooking and more assisted by employees. Different from the waiter. I promise, I can take good care of our son" Alyssa said, trying to convince Zayden.

Zayden immediately turned to Jimmy who was still turning his body, even his shoulders still seemed to tremble. The man was still crying his back to them.

"I love you guys. You are my life now" said Zayden, who kissed Alyssa's head for so long.

"I love you too" Alyssa replied.
