NOT Second Lead

NOT Second Lead
Fear of rejection

"I was looking for you after college. But you've moved on" Alexander said after finishing their order goat-fried rice in silence.

Rihana was confused as to what to answer. They're moving out. He stared at the half of his fried rice. It was hard to swallow it.

Though if you eat alone at the boarding house, it must have been exhausted since.

"Where are you moving?" alexander asked as he looked at Rihana gently.

"Jogja."

"Ooh." There was a gasp of annoyance Alexander. He didn't think of looking for Khanza to Jogja. He even told his guards to make contact with the city of flowers. The ass never met.

"Why move?"

"The economic reasons."

"Don't Aunt Saras have a convection business? His efforts also moved?" Alexander knew enough about the independent orphanage. The owner has a convection business that always distributes clothing clothing.which they.work to their grocery store that does not maen maen. The stitches are very nice and neat. Alexander used to buy it.

"Mother's shop is on fire. There is no leftover. The compensation given is not enough to build another convection business," explained Rihana frankly. For some reason, he just wanted to share a little of his burden with Alexander.

"Is that why you work here?" alexander asked after his shock was lost due to hearing Rihana's explanation.

"Yes. I tried to propose and his gratitude was accepted."

"Have you been to Jakarta? Ms Saras agrees?" alexander bertubi tubi.

"Mother does not agree. But how else. Here the salary is big enough for fresh graduates like me," explained Rihana slowly.

Alexander sighed again scented, as if regretting why he did not exist when Rihana was in trouble.

"Have you been here?" reiterate Alexander on his unanswered question.

Actually Alexander wanted to say that Rihana was too brave to set foot in the capital alone.

"I used to be here. I was five years old. It was a long time ago, anyway," Rihana honestly with a bitter smile.

"Yes, it's already doubled the change."

Both are silent again. Rihana returned to feed her fried rice.

"You feel at home working here? Your work buddy good?" alexander asked after seeing Rihana swallow his fried rice.

"They're too good," Rihana replied with a faint smile.

"Thank God."

Actually Alexander wants to offer Rihana to move work to his company only.. As his personal assistant. But Alexander felt it was unethical. So he didn't say it.

But he was relieved that it would be easier to monitor the girl. If Rihana is fired, Alexander will ask her to join as his personal assistant. Rihana will not reject it at that time. Because it looks like Rihana has now become the backbone of his family. He must have been in desperate need of a big fee to help Aunt Saras finance the needs of the parlour.

"You open a donation open?" alexander asked jokingly. Because the answer is definitely. Because from the past even the orphanage never received a donation in the form of money. Only allow donors to provide food and school supplies directly given to orphanage children.

"Yes no," Rihana's thin smile fell on her lips.

Alexander laughed softly because his guess was right.

"You're at home working for Om Board?"

Rihana's eyebrows raised next door.

"Om Council?'

Sounds familiar.

"Yes, Om Papi's Council of Companions."

"Oohs. It should be at home," replied Rihana starting to look at Alexander while thinking.

Alexander looked back at him.

"Why?" alexander asked with a meaningful smile.

DEG

Rihana's heart was beating hard again.

The feeling appeared again. Six years have passed.

Uhuk uhuk uhuk

"Eh, drink Zira," Alexander said frantically as he handed his drinking glass to Rihana.

Rihana shook her head while taking her own drink.

Long enough the cough stopped.

It feels quite sore. His chest was also still a bit sick. Rihana is also ashamed.

Why cough because only looked at Alex, anyway.

"Zira, if your salary is less to send aunty Saras, ask me, yes," Alexander said after seeing Rihana began to calm down.

Rihana widened her smile.

"asked? Who am I, you?' the Canda Rihana miris.

"Eh, I mean, emm. My salary is big, right. Especially later if I am a permanent employee," explained Rihana awkwardly. Afraid that Alexander misinterpreted his winged speech.

If Alexander liked it, it would be a lot of fun. But it would be a big deal and a real shame if Alexander didn't have any feelings for him. And consider him not to know himself.

"How many months have you been trained?" alexander asked after a long silence.

"Three months."

Alexander was silent again. She looked at Rihana who was feeding her fried rice again, looking reluctant.

He wanted to say what he had been saying all along. But confused how.

Alexander was also afraid of being rejected, let alone they had only met again after such a long time.

"Tomorrow I have a meeting at the Om Board company."

Again, Council. They seemed very close, bitter. He whose son alone, could not be as familiar as that mention his father's name.

"So too. In these two weeks I will often go there," continued Alexander again with full implied meaning.

"Ooh."

"When are you having lunch in the cafeteria?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Silent.

Alexander sighed. She stared at the pretty face in front of her which was like carrying a lot of burden.

"I want to go home. What was naek?" Rihana finished eating it, then spent the orange juice that had lived half.

"Herdin waited for me near the alley where we met."

"Ooh." Rihana did not know the whereabouts of Herdin.

"You live there?"

"Yes," replied Rihana rather insecurely. Now their distance is getting further.

"Contract or.....?"

"I'm kost."

"Ooh."

Now both have gone hand in hand.

"Here I am," Rihana breaks up when Alexander follows him into his alley.

"Nega pa pa pa." Alexander kept going.

Rihana threw her breath away and walked beside Alexander who looked very calm.

"This is my boarding house" Rihana said as he stopped his steps.

Alexander noticed the fence was quite high as if protecting the two-story building.

His lips twitched while reading the sign that read the boarding of the daughter of Angel.

His father lived here

"Which room are you in?" alexander asked after observing the hostel for a long time.

"That's the end, second floor," said Rihana while showing the location of his room which was very visible from where they were.

"Ooh." Alexander's lips extended his faint smile.

"You... straight home, right?" It's not good to throw Alexander out. But the hostel doesn't have a living room. Guests are also prohibited from entering. That was the rule from the boarding house when Rihana first met him.

"Yes, sure. I went home first," she said then stepped away leaving Rihana still staring at her back.

His steps feel light now because he already knows where his Zira lives.

"Sorry, I've been a long time" Alexander said as he entered the car.

"Gue has just arrived. I went out to eat, "kekeh Herdin.

"Oh, thank God," chuckled Alexander while wearing his seatbealt.

"Where? Accepted?" tanya Herdin could not wait to hear Alexander's story.

"Gue hasn't told you."

"What's? Though I thought you were rejected," scorned Herdin ngakak.

Alexander also laughed.

"Gue was also afraid of being rejected. This is just the first meeting. I shot it straight away."

"But you guys, right, it's been too long. You're not afraid Rihana's heart has changed?"

Alexander remained silent. Of course he's scared. Very scared even.
