Chapter 21

David picked up Mauren. He wants to take Mauren to see his father. Mauren can come along when Arriel is back from her honeymoon. Mauren can't take time off when Arriel isn't around.

“When are we getting married?” mauren asked on the way to David's house.

“Two months away.” David answered while still focusing on the road ahead of him.

“What?” Mauren yelling. She was so shocked to learn that David would be having a wedding in two months. Of course it surprised him.

“Are you playing around having a wedding in two months?” tanyakanya.

“No. I'm not messing around.” David felt he had to go as fast as possible.

“But, is it not too fast?” Mauren feels two months will definitely be difficult to prepare everything.

“Nothing is difficult. Stay money working.” David felt like everything was going to be done with the money. Of course it made him feel no problem.

Mauren just snorted in annoyance. He felt the rich people finished everything with money. Mauren realized that it was common for the rich.

The car arrived at David's house. When he came down, Mauren saw the house looked so big. David's house is much larger than the house Arriel's family owns.

“Ayo.” David invites Mauren into the house.

Mauren walked with David to the house. Houses with large pillars and also a high roof make the house like a palace. The thing Mauren thought about, how to clean it up.

“You wait here. I'll call papa.” David asks Mauren to sit in the living room first. Because he has to go in and find his papa.

Mauren nodded. He was sitting on a chair with a high back seat. The golden color that coats the chair makes the seat of the king's throne. Mauren sat down, smiling. Imagine herself as a princess.

“Ren.” Suddenly David's voice sounded.

Mauren, who was admiring every corner of the house, turned his eyes away. He saw a middle-aged man with David. He's sure it's papa David.

The Lord looked at his son. Didn't expect his son to bring a wife. Of course it makes him happy. Because this is what I have been waiting for all this time.

When he looked at his father, David smiled. Proud to finally get a woman to marry.

The Lord turned his eyes to Mauren. Mauren looks beautiful with brown skin.

Mauren was afraid when he was noticed by papa David. He felt papa David was making sure he was good for the child or not.

“I Dewa-papa David.” The Lord extended a hand.

“I'm Mauren, Sir.” Mauren received the hand of the Lord.

The Lord sat down immediately. He sat in front of Mauren. David sat down in the chair next to him.

“So you guys are getting married?” ask the Lord to make sure.

“Iya, Pa. We will be married in two months.” David answered his question.

“Then we have time to propose to Mauren to his parents first.” The Lord gave his opinion to his son.

“Iya, we'll go apply first. After that just set up the wedding.” David confirmed his papa's speech. “When are your parents ready for us to come?” He immediately turned to Mauren.

Mauren. He was confused as to what to answer.

“Ren.” David called Mauren who was silent.

“I have no parents.” Mauren lowered her fist. I dare to answer.
