Not the Desired Husband

Mauren ate with her heart. David who saw that could only shake his head. It turns out that Mauren ate so well. To make him fear himself.

“Did that ghost have you?” ask David.

“Yes, do you want me to eat too?” Mauren stared intently at David.

“No-no. I still want to live.” David immediately shook his head.

Mauren is enjoying her meal. He was angry at the food. Mauren knew David was not intentional. However, he felt annoyed. Because it makes him flutter. Obviously Mauren is not ready with that kind of feeling.

While enjoying his meal. Suddenly Mauren's name was called. David and Mauren immediately shifted their eyes. A man approached Mauren and David.

Mauren rounded her eyes when she saw who had come. Of course it made him feel surprised. Because that man is her ex-husband. I don't know what dream Mauren had to meet the man.

David looked at Mauren. It was obvious that his wife was so shocked. Obviously the man must have been someone who had been present in Mauren's life.

“ Didn't expect me to meet you here.” Emran, Mauren's ex-husband. Greet Mauren.

Mauren just chose to be quiet. Obviously, he didn't like meeting that guy. Moreover, the man left it for the sake of another woman.

David was confused by the situation. Mauren was silent when the man greeted.

“Hai, may I know who you are? Looks like my wife doesn't seem to like your arrival.” David tried to melt the atmosphere.

“Hai, I'm Emran, Mauren's ex-husband.” The man extended a hand.

David had guessed. It must be the man in front of him that was part of Mauren's past. Because that guy pissed Mauren off.

“I'm David, Mauren's husband.” David reached out to receive Emran's helping hand.

“Congratulations for your wedding. I'm glad to see Mauren finally getting married.” Emran smiles. His gaze shifted to Mauren for a moment. But back to David again.

“Thank you.” David looked calm as Emran looked at Mauren. Given that Mauren was upset, there was no fear in David.

“Actually I want to join and chat, but unfortunately I have to meet client.”

“Alright, I'll excuse you.” Emran immediately said goodbye.

David nodded. When the man left, he turned to his wife. The wife's face still looked very upset. It made David feel brave.

“Why did you reply to his greeting?” ask Mauren.

“He greets, pity if not reciprocated.” David answered lightly.

“But, I don't like you talking to him.” Mauren suppressed her rumbling from earlier. She did not like the pretentious David and was kind to her ex-husband.

“Sorry if it pisses you off.” David tried to calm his wife.

“Remember, never get along with her. I don't like. I don't want that familiarity to make him look for a gap to get into our lives. I want to move forward without looking at the past. I also don't allow the past to barge into my life.” The wounds that Mauren was feeling were deep. She does not want to forgive her ex-husband.

“Alright, I'll do what you ask.” David better give up. Moreover, he did not want to make the wife uncomfortable.

“Good.” Mauren immediately grabbed her bag.

“We're done eating?” ask David.

“I've no appetite.” Mauren had already lost her interest in eating. Anyway he wants to get out of this mall soon. Not to accidentally meet her ex-husband again.

David had to call the waiter immediately. Ask for a food purchase bill. David paid for it immediately. Not until his wife leaves first.

David had to run when Mauren had gone first.

“What if we find another restaurant besides in this mall.” Suddenly Mauren had an idea.

“She said earlier no appetite?” David tried to remind me of what Mauren said.

“Yes, I had no appetite here. If it's somewhere else, I'm obviously appetite.” Mauren tried to explain.

David could only smile when Mauren's mood changed drastically. “Alright, we find another place to eat.” David also agreed. And just eating anyway. His money will not run out just buy food for his wife. To restore the mood. Of course David would.

They both decided to find another restaurant. When he wanted to move places, Mauren's smile immediately expanded. He was so happy when he found what he wanted.
