Not the Desired Husband
Chapter 52

Mauren sees her ex-in-law as well as the woman who once cheated on her husband. There was a rumble in his heart when he saw the two women he hated.

“Don't expect if meet you here.” Susan sneers at Mauren's whereabouts at this lavish party.

“You are here Mauren.” Mama Santi smiled meaningfully.

Mauren lazily responded to the two women in front of her. He knew the two women just wanted to make fun of him.

Mauren's view was on the child held by his former father-in-law. She was convinced it was the son of her ex-husband and his mistress.

“This is Emran's son. Look, Emran finally had a child after parting ways with you. For years married to you, she had no children at all. I'm glad I divorced you. It means he's not wrong to leave a barren woman like you.” Mama Santi spoke softly and sharply. He vented his feelings of pleasure above Mauren's suffering.

Mauren's heart was completely hurt when she heard the words of her former father-in-law. It's been years, but it hasn't changed either.

“Mauren.” Emran was so shocked when he saw Mauren with his mother and wife. “You're here too? Do you know the owner of this show?” He was very curious about the arrival of Mauren in the same place as him.

Mauren saw clearly Emran had never changed. He is friendly as always. However, that hospitality was not needed by Mauren.

“At most he just delivered his friend who the owner of the famous gold shop. Where might he know a famous designer.” Susan sneered at Mauren. Her hands were directly coiled on her husband's arms.

“Susan!” Emran stared intently at his wife. I feel like the wife's words are so cruel.

Susan just rolled a puff of an eye. A little annoyed with the husband who reprimanded him.

Mauren was very lazy to respond to the people in front of him.  She decided to find her husband immediately.

“Halo, Darling. Were you looking for me?” David frowned his fingers. Mauren.

“Iya, I was looking for you. Come.” Mauren took David's hand. Unfortunately, David did not budge at all. He made Mauren look at her husband.

“Mauren is not familiar with the owner of this event. Maybe the famous designer who sat in the shop was not familiar with Mauren, but surely he was familiar with the owner of Janitra. Supply the fabrics he wears to make his collection of clothes.” David heard Mauren and the people in front of Mauren. He wanted to get to Mauren. However, when hearing those people's hurtful remarks made him stop and listen first. When he felt that his wife was being humbled, he immediately moved.

Mauren did not expect that David was trying to defend her.

“Vid, let's go.” Mauren pulls David. Take her husband away.

“Thank you for throwing away the diamonds you have. Because I can finally have it.” David looked at Emran. Seeing the actions of Emran's wife, already reflects the differences of his wife. The wife chooses silence rather than responding to the words of her opponent. Moreover, this is in a public place and certainly the wife does not want to make a fanfare.

“Vid, let's go.” Mauren did not want to argue or deal with her ex-husband's family. He wants to stay as far away as possible.

David did not want to get his wife hurt. So he chose to obey his wife. Leave immediately.

“Basic pride once.” Susan was furious with David's action.

Emran is just glued. What David said is true. He has thrown away precious diamonds like Mauren.

Mauren pulls David out of the party. No more going to the same party as her ex-husband's family.

While in the car, he immediately expressed his annoyance at David. “Why should you respond to their babble?” tanyakanya.
