Not the usual Cinderella

Not the usual Cinderella
Chapter 23

I decided to go back to work even though my body was not very healthy.

Ever since last night, I kept staring at the phone screen, not expecting Adam to call me, just wanting to know where my lover or rather my ex-lover was right now through his social media. Nil, he didn't put up any status.

I didn't expect much from this relationship, even though the breaking up didn't come from both of our mouths. But I'm self-conscious if it's no longer possible to maintain our relationship.

There is nothing to explain to Adam, let him consider me a bad woman who has sold herself to people rather than having to say who the father of this baby is.

The deal will be longer and more difficult if I expose who the man who has possessed me is. Anyway I don't want Adam involved with Joan.

I breathed rough in the mirror, this tight shirt and skirt could not have been used for longer. Do I need to leave the company immediately? Or ....

Ah aborting this content is not as easy as I imagined, since last night I searched the internet for information about aborting the womb, unfortunately I even more encountered the bad effects of abortion.

The safest of course in the obstetrician in the hospital, but of course it is not possible, because abortion is illegal and can be threatened criminal.

I gently rubbed my stomach, there was a sense of unbearable with how my mind wanted to get rid of it. But the difficulty of the future makes me a gamang to maintain.

One of the scariest is how will I disappear during pregnancy? If money matters I think I can live as simply as possible, but where?

Going somewhere foreign there will definitely be questions from people around where the father of the baby.

"You please don't trouble me?" I asked this baby.

From morning I went back and forth to the bathroom because of the troublesome morning sickness. After filling the stomach with fruits my energy returned a little.

There was nothing to eat in the room but fruit and snacks, so I decided to leave early in the morning to have breakfast outside.

When out of boarding, along with Dinda who seems to also be working. Last night we talked more about entertaining things.

Dinda and I are planning a baby moon event in Bali. Though not sure I was still enthusiastic about hearing his plans. Compared to me, it seems like Dinda is happier for my pregnancy.

"Ras, you want a job?" tanyanya.

"Yes Din, won't I be out for long? So I need to collect more money now" I replied with a laugh.

Dinda sighed, "Breakfast first yuk! I'm sure you haven't had breakfast yet" he asked and flanked my hand.

We had breakfast at a roadside shop that served chicken porridge and all its side dishes.

"When do you want to check the pregnancy of the Race? I anter want?” bargained for.

If only Dinda hadn't asked, I'd forgotten the doctor's advice at the clinic that treated me yesterday.

"You're still hesitating about keeping it Race?" asked Dinda when she saw me like she was not eager to respond.

"I'm confused Din ... "

Warm porridge that has half entered the stomach suddenly no longer feels good.

"Why?"

I'm breathing rough, I can't possibly tell you the details of my life because there's a secret no one should know.

"Does your baby's biological father not want responsibility?" terka Dinda who is either right or not.

I can't answer if the baby's father doesn't want to take responsibility because Joan herself doesn't know about my pregnancy.

Even if Joan knew maybe the man would have wished that this baby wasn't among us.

However ... I rub this belly gently, can I throw it away? I am a despicable woman because I want to sell my body. Do I have to be a killer too? Even my own flesh and blood?

"Nrash ..." Dinda touched the back of my hand, grasping it tightly.

He took a breath before exhaling slowly, "I want to take care of your child Race, if you are not ready. I promise I will love him rich my own son, I will not cover his history. I will still know you as his mother. A formidable mother who was willing to fight for him," the look in the eyes was hopeful.

I know how Dinda feels, someone who is diagnosed with not having children would be very hopeful to have children even though it is not her own flesh and blood.

Do I have to take this baby off for Dinda to take care of? I'm sure my son will get some genuine affection from Dinda.

"cost issues. You calm down Ras, I will live you as long as you leave the company. I have a place far enough away from here if you really want to hide, "an offer that surprised me.

When Dinda heard me gasp, she hurriedly continued.

"Sorry Ras, I didn't mean to interfere. I was just thinking because you said you wanted to resign. If indeed you are confused thinking about the cost, I can finance you."

"If it's a matter of residence, it's just my advice, so you can be more comfortable when you're pregnant and come back full of confidence when the baby is born."

I thought about all Dinda said, do I have to obey her? So how do I talk about my sudden departure for Joan?

If you want to keep this baby, it is better not to tell the man, right?

"Why do we take care of your children together Race?" The answer is because I've been quieter since.

Dinda needs certainty from me now. "Do you have a place to live far from the people around Din?"

"Yes, it's cold. Simple villa, gift from my ex-husband Ras," he explained.

Wow I was quite surprised by Dinda's household life first. I'm sure that Dinda's ex-husband is definitely not a random person.

Giving gifts a villa must have spent a lot of money.

"Your husband must be a rich man, Din," I replied, focusing instead on Dinda's ex-husband.

Dinda grunted angrily "free rich if not loyal to Ras. I'm living this life, working alone to find my own money."

I chuckled at Dinda's grunts. "Later I thought of your offer Din. I can't make a decision right now."

"Sip. Don't forget later in the afternoon we go to the hospital, yes" he asked.

"You what?" ask absentminded.

"Control your pregnancy Race. I already know a good Obstetrician, just don't refuse!" sternly asked.

"City ... Ay captain," I said, saluting like a soldier.

We each went by car. Dinda did force me to drive, even crazier she wanted to be my personal driver to get between.

I was worried about this baby. 'Son even though I may not want you, but there is someone who turns out to be hoping for your presence in this world'
