Abi, who had finished breakfast, went straight to the rented house of Laras.
"Assalamu'alaikum" Abi said.
"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Is Abi ready to go to work?"
"Udah Laras, we go together."
"Then wait a minute, Laras wants to take Daffa as traded first," said Laras, then set foot back into the house.
Laras carried Daffa with one hand to the food basket.
"This is my basket, which I carry," Abi said, taking the basket from Laras' hand.
"But the basket is heavy, pity that Mas Abi brought it," said Laras who felt bad for Abi.
"It's okay, Laras, I'm a man, and I won't let a woman carry a basket this heavy, let alone you have to carry Daffa. Yuk left, not you have to sell first," said Abi, and Laras was so touched by the attention that Abi gave, because it used to be when married to Rahman, who was a woman, even Rahman always let Laras bring his own merchandise without helping Laras.
Arriving in front of the factory, Abi took Daffa from Laras sling, because Laras wanted to arrange his sales on the table.
"Laras, that's your new guy huh? really handsome," said one of Laras' friends.
"We're just friends, Mas Abi's a new technician at the factory."
"Well, there's a good new technician. Mas acquaintance dong," said friends Laras who is currently buying Laras merchandise, but Abi only responded with a smile.
The Baras trade ran out in a short time, as many women were fascinated by Abi's good looks so they all shopped for dishes made by Laras, wanting to see Abi more closely.
A little while later, Anggi who had returned from the Market approached Laras to take Daffa.
"Laras, so that's what Mas Abi's name is?" whisky Anggi.
"Yes Anggi, why? don't tell me you have a crush on Mas Abi."
"He seems to be a good fit to be Daffa's father. You see, Mas Abi looks sincerely love Daffa, and I think Mas Abi will be a good father figure," whispered Anggi
"You don't have to bother, Mas Abi can't possibly like me."
"We don't know anyone's heart, and I hope you can open your heart to another man soon."
"Dear, don't talk about it, for now I will only focus on Daffa," said Laras then took Daffa from Abi's sling.
"Mas Abi, thank you so much for helping to take care of Daffa."
"You don't have to thank Laras, aren't we friends? so I should have done all that. Oh yeah, now who will Daffa be looked after?" ask Abi.
"Daffa will be guarded by Laras' best friend in the world. This is called Anggi, and Anggi lives in a contract with Laras."
Anggi and Abi shake hands, and suddenly Abi entrusts Daffa to Anggi like a Father who leaves his Son.
"My brother Anggi said Daffa yes," Abi said with a smile.
"Yes, Mas Abi take it easy, I will always take good care of Daffa."
"That's Laras, Mas Abi is like a father who left his Son alone," whispered Anggi when taking Daffa from Laras sling, and Laras just smiled hearing Anggi's words.
"Laras, yuk entered, I do not know the location of the operator's workplace," said Abi.
Currently Laras and Abi are the center of attention of all Employees, because they both look very suitable, until finally the Manager came to greet Abi.
"Good morning Tu_" said Mr. Anton, and Abi immediately cut off the words of Mr. Anton so as not to slip.
"Good morning Mr. Anton. You are looking for me, right? then now we go to the workspace Mr. Abi said, then take Mr. Anton to his study so that their conversation is not heard by anyone.
"Sir Anton, I hope you are not as transparent as before, because I do not want if there are employees who know about my true identity," said Abi.
"Sorry sir, I forgot."
"From now on Mr. Anton has to treat me like any other employee, because all that I do is so that I can judge for myself the performance of all employees here," said Abi who did not tell the real reason to Mr. Anton about him who wants to be closer to Laras.
"Okay sir, I'll do everything you tell me to do" Mr Anton said.
After finishing talking with Mr. Anton, Abi again approached Laras who is currently teaching his men to sew.
"Well, can you sew too?" ask Abi.
"Yes, Alhamdulillah. Do you know how to sew?" ask Laras, then stand up.
"How did you stand up again? why don't you sew it?" ask Abi.
"Alhamdulillah, recently I was appointed to be the foreman of Mas, so I am part of pursuing the target as well as teaching friends if anyone does not understand how to sew the pattern," said Laras, said, and Abi was more and more amazed to hear the words of Laras.
"Mas, there is a broken engine" said Laras.
"Which one?" asked Abi who did not know which machine was damaged, let alone the sewing machine in the factory numbered in the thousands.
"Mas Abi does not know, if there is a damaged engine, on top of the engine will be put a red flag," said Laras.
"Oh, I guess a red flag was put up because there was a wedding," joked Abi, thus making Laras smile.
Abi stepped foot into the broken sewing machine, then deftly fixed it.
"His mother besides handsome, really pinter ya betulin the machine. Mas, help my heart bengkelin dong," said the employee whose machine was damaged.
"Sorry Ma'am, I'm here for the work of the machine betulin, not the repairman's heart," said Abi, then set foot to the Laras line, then set foot to the Laras line, and Abi continued to observe the movements of Laras' movements that look so deft in work.
"The same turns are very romantic, why is it so cold as snow" murmured Ika, Karyawati whose machine was picked up by Abi.
"Eh Ika, you self-conscious dong. Look Laras, the body is just like a Spanish guitar, well you see your own body is like a barrel," quipped Titin, so it makes Ika pout.
......................
The hour of lunch break has now arrived, and Laras invites Abi to have lunch with him, because Laras deliberately brought two packs of rice and also a side dish for Abi to eat.
"Mas Abi, lunch first yuk," asked Laras.
"I'm not good enough, when I ask to eat with you."
"Who said Mas Abi asked to eat with me? I myself had intended to bring lunch for Mas Abi. Counting as a thank you because Mas Abi has helped me keep Daffa when I sell," said Laras with a sweet smile, making Abi's heart beat fast.
Laras, I hope I can become a priest for you, and I will look after you and Daffa for the rest of my life. Poor you must cape must bear the burden alone, and later I will not let you bear all the burdens of living alone again, Abi said in his heart.
