One Bed, Three Lives

One Bed, Three Lives
Chapter 20 (Open the heart to Abi )

Tonight Abi could not close her eyes, because Abi kept thinking about the incident that almost happened to Laras.

"Why is my heart not calm like this? I kept worrying about Laras. Did I just look into her room, so I could feel calmer?" muttered Abi, then stepped foot into the room Laras.

Abi hesitated to enter Laras' room, but Abi did not feel calm if he had not seen Laras and Daffa.

"If I knock on the door, I'm afraid that Laras and Daffa are asleep, how about they both wake up" Abi murmured.

Abi slowly opened the door to Laras' room, and Abi was so surprised to see Laras who was crying by bending his knees, while Daffa was seen sleeping in a baby box, because Abi had asked Mang Diman to buy it.

"Laras, what's wrong with you? I'm sorry that I went to your room without knocking on the door first" Abi said.

"Laras was afraid of Mas, Laras continued to remember the incident this afternoon," said Laras who looked frightened.

Slowly Abi approached Laras, then Abi hugged Laras' body and gently stroked his back.

"You don't be afraid anymore yes, I will always be beside you" Abi said, and Abi did not expect that Laras returned his embrace.

"Then we sleep now, I will accompany you until you fall asleep" Abi said, then help Laras to lie down.

At this time Laras was still frightened, so reluctant to take off his embrace of Abi, and finally Abi also lay down next to Laras.

Laras tried to close his eyes, but Laras still could not sleep either.

After all I am a normal man, if Laras continues to hug me like this, then I can be happy. Is Laras sleeping now? I'd better move to the room than I'll get to the house. I don't want it until Laras hates me and accuses me of taking advantage of the situation Abi said in her heart.

Abi slowly shifts away from Laras' bed, but Laras, who has not fallen asleep, opens his eyes when Abi is about to take off Laras' embrace.

"Where is Abi going?" ask Laras.

"I thought you were asleep, so I wanted to move into my room" Abi said.

"Did Mas Abi not want to accompany Laras to sleep here?"

"I_" Abi's remark came to a halt as Laras cut him off.

"Alas know that as a normal man, Mas Abi certainly can not help it if close to a woman right? Mas, Laras has decided that Laras will try to open the heart of Laras, and we will open a new page together not just the status of Husband and Wife, just, because Laras would have sinned if he hadn't served Laras' husband."

"A_what do you mean?" asked Abi who looked nervous.

"From now on, Laras will try to be a good wife to Mas Abi."

"So, are you sure of the decision you made? if you are still not ready, I will always be patient waiting for you until you can accept me as your Husband. I don't want you to talk like that because you feel compelled."

"Laras is sure that Mas Abi will be a good Husband and Father to our Children. Mas Abi is a good man, so it will not be difficult for Laras to learn to love Mas Abi" Laras said with a smile.

Abi, who was happy to hear the words of Laras, immediately rushed to embrace the body of Laras.

"Dear, God willing, I will try to be a good Husband and Father for our Children" said Abi then close his face with the face of Laras, so that the heart of both is now racing quickly.

"Well, can I do it?" whispered Abi.

Abi slowly pressed his lips against Laras' lips and the kiss grew deeper and deeper, until finally Laras and Abi passed the first beautiful night.

"Thank you dear, because you have accepted me completely," said Abi by bringing Laras into his arms, and finally they both slept.

......................

The next morning, Laras awoke when he heard the voice of the Fajr Adhan, and Laras immediately developed a smile when he saw Abi who continued to hug him tightly.

"Just get up first, we pray first dawn yuk," whispered Laras.

"Darling, are you awake? just this time I slept very well, maybe because now I have a living blanket," Abi said by continuing to hug Laras' body.

"Then I go to the bathroom first yes," said Laras.

"Why not go faster?" abi said, then raised Laras' body into the bathroom.

After the two had finished cleaning themselves, Abi learned to become the priest of Salat for Laras, and Laras was so happy, for this was the first time that Laras prayed in congregation with his Husband, who was the first to pray, because Rahman was reluctant to become an imam of prayer for Laras, even Rahman rarely carried out his duties as a Muslim.

After finishing the prayer and praying, Laras kissed the back of Abi's hand, and Abi kissed Laras' forehead affectionately.

"Honey, sorry if my prayer reading is still not right, but I will continue to learn so that it can be better."

"I still have to learn again, and we will learn together. Then, I went to the kitchen first to help Bi Surti cook. Would you like some coffee or tea?"

"So drink coffee milk. Is it okay to go to the kitchen? pity Daffa if left alone."

"Nothing Mas, I also will not stray," said Laras, then set foot into the kitchen.

"Good morning Bi," said Laras when he saw Bi Surti who was frying bananas and bakwan.

"For Neng. Neng Laras want to make milk coffee for Mas Abi?"

"Yes Bi. Auntie seems to know what Mas Abi likes."

"Of course Bibi knows, Aunty used to be a maid at the home of her late parents, and after they died, Bibi and Mamang were told to take care of this house," said Bi Surti who had been exhausted.

"So, you mean this aunt's house belongs to Mas Abi's parents?"

"Eh that's not how Neng is. Should Neng Laras anterin first coffee as fried may still be warm," said Bi Surti who tried to divert the conversation.

"What do you want to cook today?"

"Auntie wants to cook Mas Abi's favorite soy sauce chicken."

"Then let Laras alone cook for Husband Laras. Later on come back here again."

Sorry Aunt Neng, the young master told us to hide the true identity of everyone, and Bibi was convinced that the young master had a reason why he did all that. Hopefully soon young master can be honest with Neng Laras.
