S2. Worrying
Naura awakens when she does not find her husband sleeping next to her because his bed is empty. Only he was there.
"Where's Gege?" naura asked as she woke up and there was no one in their room at the moment.
Naura searched the bathroom but did not find her husband there either. Then where's her husband?
Is her husband working? out of curiosity, Naura decided to go downstairs and see if her husband was in the office or not.
However, when he got under Naura felt uncomfortable because this big house was no one else because it was already midnight and that meant that there was no one else here.
The clock has shown at 01.00 in the morning and that means it is not allowed for them to work at hours like this because it is time to rest.
Hearing the sound of the main door opening made Naura instantly look towards the source of the voice because she was curious who came at this kind of hour.
How shocked Naura was when she saw that her husband who had just come in such a mess.
"Gege, man,"
"Naura?" alta asked who was very surprised when she saw that his wife was in front there at this time.
Why is Naura here? it's midnight, so what's his wife doing on the first floor?
"Darling, what are you doing here?" alta asked his wife and immediately approached the woman who controlled his heart.
Naura received a hug from her husband she had been looking for since.
"I'm looking for you, but I'm not in the room and I'm on the first floor, and here I don't see a single person. Is it every day like this that no one's in this house at night?" naura asked her husband because she was confused. Even when he was thirsty how would he be?
"It's like this baby, because the maids and servants will return to the back house if it's 9 p.m. That's a house rule because 9 p.m. their work limit and after that they'll rest in the back house." replied her husband who made Naura nod her head because she was beginning to understand the workings of this house.
But wait a minute, Naura instantly let go of her husband's embrace and she looked at this man who had just come from outside.
Earlier, before Alta entered Naura also heard the sound of a car that had just been turned off. Is that really her husband?
"Gege from anywhere? was that car that stopped earlier that Gege's car?" asked Naura and Alta nodded her head. He did not want to lie to his wife because she was the one who had just come from outside.
"This why?" Naura again asked her husband when she saw the man's reddened hands and Naura was sure that there was something her husband was doing out there.
"It's nothing dear." replied Alta then because she didn't want to worry her wife.
He did not want to make Naura worry about him because of the good circumstances. It felt satisfied to have done what he had to do to the cowardly man. A man who does not know himself because he has hurt his sister.
"I just got off the night club, baby."
"For what?" ask Naura who is still curious what her husband does at a nightclub like that.
"I went to see her husband Sheila. I beat him so hard that he was lying on the floor. I taught her a lesson in what she had done to Sheila." Alta replied to Naura, going straight to the kitchen to get some warm water.
She would compress her husband's hand so as not to rebel later.
Seeing Naura don't leave her immediately made Alta chase after the woman. He was afraid that Naura would get angry with him and would silence him.
"Darling, what do you want to do in the kitchen?" alta asked who was following her.
In fact he actually followed his wife to the point of being in the kitchen.
"Sit here, come." take Naura to her husband and she directly sat her husband on the dining chair and Naura compresses the back of the man's hand which looks flushed. It looked very clear especially Alta who had white skin like snow. Even Alta was whiter than him again, so the bruise would look very contrasting with the color of his skin.
"Darling, I'm fine. It's not a big wound like you think" Alta told his wife because it's not a big one like Naura's mind at the moment.
"I never said it was a big injury. Even a small wound can become large if it is an infection. It's a bruise and that means there's a blood clot that's not draining the area. If left alone it could have bad consequences later. What if you want to swell up and block blood flow?" ask Naura to her husband.
Alta herself could only sigh resignedly and she could not do anything else because it was his wife who knew everything.
"I'm just a dentist, but I learned all this before I took a specialist. We learned the basics as a doctor. So, let's not say that this is just a small wound and it doesn't have any effect on Gege."
"Dear, sorry" Alta told his wife.
Naura continued to clean the wound on the back of her husband's hand until she felt that it had improved enough. After she finished cleaning the wound on the back of her husband's hand, Naura immediately left the man just like that.
I don't know why it feels uncomfortable to see her husband hurt like that. Naura felt that there was fear inside her if anything happened to her husband.
Seeing Naura who immediately left him just like that without saying goodbye made Alta panic. He was afraid that if his wife was angry and silenced him, for that Alta chose to catch up with Naura at this time.
"Darling, are you angry?" ask Alta when they get to the room.
"I'll get Gege's clothes ready and go to bed. It's time for humans to rest. But if Gege isn't human, go ahead. I didn't force Gege to rest with me. Perhaps the outside world was more pleasant." Alta's two eyeballs instantly rounded perfectly upon hearing what his wife was saying at this moment. He was shocked when he saw his angry wife like this.
"Darling, are you angry?"
"I've prepared my change of clothes. Good night." said Naura, who ended their conversation tonight because she wanted to go to bed.
