Malik was really surprised to hear the words of his wife. How can Flower say casually to have another child while their baby is still very small and Flower has not finished the puerperium. Apart from that does his wife not remember the pain of giving birth to Baby one month ago? Malik who did not feel it alone still felt painfully recalling the Flower who was in pain at this moment.
"Malik, why are you quiet?" Ask Flower with a smelly face.
Malik breathed his breath before answering. "Flower, I don't think having another child for now is a good time. Baby is still very small and he still needs immense affection from us both his parents. More than that he still needs your exclusive asi to grow up." Malik said gently so as not to offend his wife.
Flower was silent to digest her husband's words that had a point. "I know that right now you feel that your affection can't be fully extended to Baby because he's always been close to his grandparents, but you can replace that diminished affection at night, can't you? Mom and Daddy don't play with Baby at night until morning comes. You're the one who has the most time with Baby when that time comes." Then Malik continued.
Flower was still silent to make Malik want to continue his words again. "Never feel jealous if your parents are close to Baby, you should feel happy because Mom and Dad are very fond of Baby instead of the opposite. Apart from that, I might be able to finance your life and Baby and his sister later. But I cannot guarantee that I can give you my full love for you because of my work. A lot of time I spent working and my responsibilities as a head of the family and I was afraid that with the sister Baby would make Baby feel less affectionate than me because I had shared love dear to his sister in very little time." Malik.
Listening to her husband's words at length made Flower able to clearly grasp the meaning of her husband's words. The essence of her husband's words is if Malik now wants them to give affection only for Baby first because Baby is still very small and needs full affection from them. Malik also wants Baby to get an exclusive asi from him.
"Alright, I'll delay my intention of wanting to have Baby again." Flower replied after a long silence.
Malik smiled hearing that. Finally his explanation was understandable and accepted by his wife. "Then let's go inside. I want to clean my body first." Bring Malik.
Flower nods and brings her husband's bag into the house. Seeing his wife's obedience made Malik very happy and more affectionate to his innocent wife who was once arrogant.
Malik. "I'll take a shower. I can't wait to see Baby." Answer Malik.
Flower smiled hearing that. "Alright, then I'll prepare your change of clothes." He said and was taken by Malik as an answer.
"Well, it's fine for now not to have a new baby just yet but not to know for the next few months." Flower said after Malik entered the bathroom.
