Malik's choice of woman
Malik was still silent to the point of making Rey growl at him. "If you say you already have a lover I might be able to help you out of your and Flower's troubles before you decide to get married." Rey.
"I'm sorry, sir, I didn't say it because I'm no longer in a relationship with my ex-lover." Answer Malik.
"What?" Rey was stunned to hear it. "Don't tell me you ended your relationship?" Guess Rey.
Malik nodded in confirming it.
"What's the reason you decided on your girlfriend? Is it because of Flower?" Ask Rey.
Malik breathed for a moment. "I just don't want my ex-lover to have a betrayed partner like me, sir. He's too good for a guy like me." Answer Malik.
"You're too dramatic, Malik." Sindir Rey.
"Sorry, Sir. I did it because of that." Answer Malik.
"Ck." Rey's tongue was clucking softly. "That means you'd rather Flower now than your ex-boyfriend?" Ask Rey.
"Yes, Sir. I prefer the woman who is pregnant with my offspring." Malik replied short, solid and clear.
Rey nodded her head. At this time he felt proud of his assistant for having a firm stand for his life.
"Good then. Although there is a heart that must be hurt because of your current decision, but I am sure you have taken the right path." Rey.
Malik just nodded without retaliating Rey's words.
Rey said goodbye to Malik's office after feeling there was nothing else he wanted to say and asked Malik.
"How's Rey? Is everything safe?" Ask Papa Gerry as Rey returns to her study.
Papa Gerry smiled happily at her. His worry for Flower finally disappeared already because what he thought did not happen. Malik did not choose his former lover and had already chosen Flower to be his wife sincerely.
"Papa can not imagine what if Malik currently prefers to stay in a relationship with his ex-lover." Gerry.
"Don't think too much, Pa." Answer Rey quickly.
"You might be able to say that but not with Papa. All this time Papa knew clearly how Flower. His love is never reciprocated and no man loves him sincerely. Although his attitude is not as good as we expect, but Papa could not bear to see him hurt for the second time. After all, Flower has been considered Papa as Papa's own son." Papa Gerry.
Rey chose to remain silent because what Papa Gerry had just said had something to do with her.
