Chapter 21 - 3 Days and 3 Years

Daniash and Maura stood side by side, in fact that night the two did not go to the night market because Maura was bad mood. Daniash did not want to ask further, he was worried that his question would even make Maura's mood worse.

"Yes, equally dear. Let's eat, cold hunt."  Maura said she bit her corn and chewed it slowly. 

"Wahh, the corn is delicious. It's so sweet, Dad."

Seeing his girl laughing, Daniash's heart warmed. This was the first time she had seen Maura laughing afterwards while with her.

'I want to make you always laugh like this, Maura. I'll try to keep the laughter on your pretty face from going away.' Inner Daniash. 

"Lho, how do you see me so, Dad? Replace it, I'm salting." 

Daniash hurriedly turned his face away, making Maura chuckle. It turned out that flirting with the adult man beside her was quite fun as well. 

Maura leaned her head on Daniash's shoulder, her eyes looking straight ahead with a wistful look. For a long time he had not felt this kind of calmness of heart, he should have gotten this kind of security and calm when he was with his parents right? But, Maura instead got her from someone else.

"Thank you Daddy."

Maura hugged Daniash from the side, as well as the handsome man, he hugged his girl tightly. Her lips continued to kiss Maura's head warmly. 

"The air's getting colder, are we going home?"

"Yes Dad, Maura wants to sleep. Tired," Maura's great-grandson slowly. 

Daniash smiled, then grabbed Maura's hand and clasped her tightly, bringing the girl from a crowded tourist site that night. 

The man opened the door for the girl, after making sure the girl was sitting comfortably, then he closed it and ran around his car, then sat next to the girl. 

"You want to go home or play first?"

"No Dad, just go home. Maura lemes, Dad." 

"Yes, if you sleep. It'll be Daddy who moves you into the room."

"Thank you Dad." Maura replied, she is already very sleepy. A few hours ago, he just woke up to take a nap. But now it's been complaining of sleepiness again.

Daniash also drove his vehicle away from the tourist spot at moderate speed, until his eyes accidentally saw someone with the tail of his eyes.

"Isn't that Herra? What's he doing here?" Daniash muttered, then lowered the speed of his car, until he saw the woman he believed to be Herra coming out with a man.

"Ckk, I shouldn't have to ask him why he's here." The man clucked quite loudly when he saw the woman directly holding the other man's arm affectionately before his eyes.

Daniash should not be surprised anymore because the woman had done more than just join hands in front of her. The reality that he had to face was the behavior of his wife who was increasingly widespread.

Maura fell asleep during the trip, so she did not know the mood changes the man experienced because she saw a figure she knew so well with other men. Huh, just imagine how messed up Daniash's heart is right now. 

The man carried his girl bridal style, although it was quite difficult but finally the man arrived. He laid down his girl's body slowly, very slowly as if that Maura was a glass that broke easily. 

After finishing laying down his girl's body, Daniash went to the balcony and sat on the chair where he was sitting. The man lit a lighter, then lit the tip of the cigarette and sucked it. 

As his girl requests, Daniash reduces smoking. Only when he was tired did he smoke. Ever since he had Maura, he had not been drinking either. 

The little girl made him feel guilty whenever he violated her wishes, just like this time. Usually he felt calm when sucking the nicotine trunk, but now he was even afraid that Maura would catch him and was disappointed. 

The man exhaled violently, then twisted his cigarette to death. 

"Maura, you really made my world look upside down." Daniash. He and Maura have just been partners need each other for 3 days, but the impact that happened to Daniash, even it feels like defeating his relationship with Herra which has been established for 3 years. 

The difference is very significant, 3 days and 3 years. But that's what Daniash feels right now, lying if he doesn't like Maura. In any case, it is very visible that he is so adoring and caring for a little girl named Maura.
