04 - Jamie's Story

Jamie!"

Julie shouts from the open window of the taxi, giving Jamie a code to get into the taxi.

"Jamie! Are you crazy?! Why are you even thinking of keeping your mouth shut?!"

"Julie! I think this is the best! Rather than me reporting the man to the police, and he's reporting back! Then my parents, my extended family, came to know about it! Such a heartbreaking and shameful thing to me!"

"Jamie.." said Julie.

"Julie, you must know how my parents are! My parents who are so dirty will definitely blame me! They clearly assume that I can't take care of myself!"

"It's been a painstaking effort that I've been negotiating to get this vacation. I even had to trade it for an arranged marriage!"

Julie and Jamie looked at each other again.

"Julie, promise me you'll keep this a secret! Please!"
