"I accept the marriage and marriage of Nafisa bint Amrullah with a dowry a set of prayer equipment paid in cash" Abidzar said in a breath.
"How the witnesses. Right?" ask a penghulu.
"Well!"
"Well!"
A smile on Nafisa's lips. Her face blushed when she kissed the back of Abidzar's hand, now officially her husband. His heart rate was racing, especially when Abidzar was about to kiss his forehead. Married the man she loved so much, who was unhappy?
Yes, that is what Nafisa felt. It is a little different from Abidzar. The handsome, rich and well-established young man sitting next to him did not show much reaction. Rather than being called happy, it seemed like the word dilemma was more appropriate to pin on him. How not, because this marriage was witnessed directly by Dzakiyya who currently sat several shafts behind him.
Dzakiyya, the hardened woman was not only the owner of Abidzar's heart, but also Abidzar's first wife. The first wife whose smile had not yet appeared since Abidzar expressed his intention to marry Nafisa.
Abidzar took a deep breath. Taking the time to glance towards Dzakiyya to see how she reacted. The look they meet. Abidzar smiled faintly, as if thanking him for the blessing that Dzakiyya gave. Thank you because Dzakiyya has been heartened and willing to stay one roof with honey of his mother's choice.
On the other hand, Dzakiyya returned Abidzar's smile despite being forced. A fake smile seemed to show that he was fine.
"Abid" whispered Diana as Abidzar never kissed Nafisa on the forehead.
The middle-aged woman who was none other than Abidzar's stepmother started to get irritated. Nafisa was sitting next to Abidzar. But Abidzar's eyes were still looking for the figure of Dzakiyya. Diana stared at Abidzar sharply, giving a code through the eyes so that Abidzar immediately did what he had to do.
Although awkward, Abidzar did not refuse. He immediately kissed Nafisa and ended the procession. Prayers began to be offered by invited guests. Dzakiyya looked down upon seeing Abidzar kissing Nafisa. His eyes were blank, his life as if it were out of his body. But even so her mouth still panted the best prayer for her husband.
About Abidzar who remarried, actually Dzakiyya not willing. Which woman would marry her husband again. But what can Dzakiyya do. Can she be selfish and refuse her husband's request to remarry while he can't give children to Abidzar? Can Dzakiyya say do not while long before the doctor has given him a gift with a verdict of infertility?
"May your second wife give you a child that I can never give you, Mom!" Dzakiyya.
Dzakiyya bit her lip, the tears she had been enduring had finally spilled out as well. Dzakiyya erases with one hand, while the other hand touches the stomach which will forever never enlarge. What Dzakiyya does is condemn himself as the main cause of honey in his household.
"Why God. Why don't you let a single fetus grow in my womb?" dzakiyya's heart screams.
This stage of Dzakiyya had already reached its limit. The sweat on his forehead began to flood. His eyesight blurred and his breath stupefied. Hearing Abidzar make a sacred promise broke his heart. Seeing Abidzar kissing Nafisa crushes his bones. Before Dzakiyya fell, before Dzakiyya destroyed her husband's sacred marriage. He decided to go back to his room to rest.
Meanwhile, Diana. The cruel mother-in-law looked over. There was nothing he did but put on a meaningless expression. But to be honest, this kind of scene was what he had always wanted to see all along. Poor Dzakiyya, miserable Dzakiyya.
"My barren son-in-law, it's not much. There are many surprises I have prepared for you. Don't blame me for being cruel. Blame yourself for being useless to me. And blame yourself for being born of that damn man and woman" Diana murmured before looking back and holding Abidzar back from running after Dzakiyya.
.
.
.
Neglecting her husband's completed wedding. Abidzar had even entered the room and was waiting for him a few minutes ago. It's just that Abidzar doesn't want to bother Dzakiyya. Choose to sit in the back and wait for Dzakiyya to finish with his worship. It was only when Dzakiyya closed and kissed his book that Abidzar rose to embrace him.
"Mas Abid?" dzakiyya said when he found out who did it. Dzakiyya turned around. Found her husband hugging her with a disheveled face.
"I'm sorry, Dza!" whispered Abidzar.
"Sorry for what. Didn't we agree not to discuss this again?" Dzakiyya.
Abidzar felt guilty. This marriage was not the one Abidzar wanted. But not long ago her mother was critical and her only request was to take a grandchild from her. Dzakiyya couldn't give him a child. So this is what happened.
Abidzar was forced to marry another woman for her service to Diana. She's been taking care of Abidzar since he was a kid. Pleasing his mother without knowing the rotten plan that was perfectly covered by the sweet attitude that his mother always showed in the presence of Abidzar.
"The promise will be fair. This marriage promise will not damage the good relationship between us. So don't be like this" whispered Abidzar.
Dzakiyya permeated Abidzar's sentence and then nodded in understanding. While Abidzar further tightened his arms to calm Dzakiyya.
"Abidzar, are you inside?" diana shouted from behind the door.
The loud voice was clearly heard by Abidzar and Dzakiyya. Just now Dzakiyya was feeling better. But her heart withered when she heard her in-laws calling her husband. Dzakiyya wanted to spend a little longer with her husband.
"Yes, Ma!" answer Abidzar.
"What are you doing. Breath is waiting for you" cried Diana again.
Once again Abidzar had to be awkward. Almost rejects Diana's request and chooses to stay with Dzakiyya. But Dzakiyya was again heartened and asked him to leave. "Go, Mas!" Dzakiyya.
"Dza?" Abidzar.
Dzakiyya answered nothing. But nod your head instead. With heavy strides Abidzar finally went to Nafisa's room. Leaving Dzakiyya who was immediately approached by her mother-in-law with an unfriendly face.
"Heh, barren! What you did just now. Begging Abidzar to stay?" diana snapped while pulling Dzakiyya's ear.
"No, Ma! Not like that" replied Dzakiyya.
But Dzakiyya's reply did not satisfy Diana. "Next time you don't want to see anything like this again. Remember, Dza! The purpose of getting married is to give birth to a child you cannot bear. So don't you dare hold Abidzar back!" diana warned.
"Ma?" dzakiyya.
"That's it. Mama doesn't want to know. I don't want to see anything like this again next time. One more thing, quickly prepare the items they will bring for the honeymoon tomorrow!" cut Diana as it passed.
