One Roof With Honey Choice In-Law

One Roof With Honey Choice In-Law
Funeral

"Doctor, are you serious?" ask Abidzar.

"We're very sorry. But that's what happened, sir!" replied Doctor.

Abidzar was silent for a moment. Glancing at Dzakiyya at a glance before continuing his delayed chatter, "Doctor, we're back soon. Please take good care of your mother" Abidzar continued.

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un," Abidzar's inner.

Abidzar closes his call and Dzakiyya immediately confronts him with a question. "Why don't you have to take medication. Did the doctor change the prescription?" ask Dzakiyya.

"No" replied Abidzar.

"Then did Mas Abid take care of Mama just now what?" ask Dzakiyya again.

Abidzar pulled the car over. Find a quiet position before telling Dzakiyya about her mother. Once the car was perfectly parked, Abidzar touched Dzakiyya's head and kissed her with love.

"Darling, my mother is no longer sick" Abidzar said.

"meaning?" ask Dzakiyya.

Her mother is clearly sick. Lying down with the infusion attached to his hand. Her husband isn't amnesiac, is he?

"Darling, our mother is dead" whispered Abidzar.

Abidzar pulls Dzakiyya into his arms. Clutching him tightly as if holding Dzakiyya from exploding. The words that came out of Abidzar's lips were very soft. But it was very successful to crush Dzakiyya's feelings.

"Died?" dzakiyya.

"Yes, baby! The doctor just told Mas Abid" Abidzar said.

God fucking. Dzakiyya knows that a person's life and death are predetermined. Why does his heart still hurt. Her mother was fine before. Dzakiyya was still taking care of him earlier. Feed her food, wipe and accompany her throughout the day. But why is there suddenly news like this.

"You lied. You're kidding me, aren't you?" ask Dzakiyya.

"You're not lying, honey! Seriously," replied Abidzar.

"No, no way! Mama was fine!" shout Dzakiyya.

It is inconceivable how the Dzakiyya was destroyed. The woman cried while beating her husband's chest. Abidzar wiped his own tears. No protest despite being made into his wife's own punching bag.

"Darling, please don't do this!" whispered Abidzar.

"Mama can't die, Mum! Mama was healthy?" isak Dzakiyya's.

Abidzar silence. If you can say, she also doesn't believe her in-laws are gone. But this is reality. Is not reality always not what we expect. Isn't a healthy person in the morning and dying during the day common?

"Why did mom go, Mom. Wh why? Dza's alone now!" dzakiyya said in between her cries.

"Darling, you're not alone. There's Mas Abid here. I'm not going to leave you, okay?" habibur Abidzar's.

Abidzar hugged Dzakiyya tighter. Holding her one hand, kissing her, comforting her and doing anything to calm her down. It was only when Dzakiyya was able to control her emotions a little, that Abidzar took her back to the hospital.

"Dear, don't cry anymore. We need to get back to the hospital. Take care of my mother for the last time" Abidzar persuaded.

Dzakiyya. Finally the car that pulled over again drove. Those who were originally on the road had already arrived at the hospital. In front of her mother's room, Dzakiyya stood on her husband's papah. With the hand still holding the medicine. It's just been shapelessly crushed.

Slowly Dzakiyya approached his mother's body. The crying broke again. Dzakiyya slammed into his mother's still warm embrace. It was as warm as his last hug before they left. So, is this what Santi meant by not being able to feel Dzakiyya's embrace from sleeping too well before they left?

The loss of a loved one is clearly the scourge of the most frightening. And Dzakiyya's screams grew louder even though Abidzar kept asking her to take up the bar. A few seconds later, Dzakiyya was silent. Yeah, quiet. Because Dzakiyya had lost consciousness and drooped in Abidzar's arms.

The next day the funeral was completed. The mourners had dispersed, including Diana and Nafisa who had been sowing flowers. The crowded cemetery was back. Leaving two people dressed in black were waiting for one person who was still loyal to hold the tomb ground.

Who else would that be if not Dzakiyya. And the two people standing behind him were his husband and sister-in-law. Abidzar took a long breath. Talitha looked at her sister. Their gazes met, before nodding simultaneously.

"Honey, it's time to go home!" abidzar said as he touched his wife's shoulder.

"Darling, it's been an hour. Don't weigh your mama's path. Mama must be sad to see you like this" Abidzar persuaded.

Dzakiyya raised his head. What her husband said was right. This is not the way to show his love but to send prayers for his mother to calm down there.

With great difficulty Dzakiyya got up. Return to the house Santi lived in during his life. In the house some relatives and neighbors were busy preparing tahlil events. Abidzar took Dzakiyya to rest in his room. Not long after Abidzar came out to see his sister.

"Sir, look after Mbak Dza?" pinta Abidzar has changed clothes.

"Where is Abid going?" ask Talitha.

"To the hospital" Abidzar replied.

"You want to talk about that?" ask Talitha.

"Yes" replied Abidzar.

Talitha nodded, then went into the room. Abidzar said goodbye to some relatives before rushing to the hospital.

So before his body was buried, the hospital had contacted Abidzar. They said they found a suspicious figure before Santi was found dead. That is why they asked Abidzar to come.

"Come, Sir! Please!" the Hospital Manager said when he saw Abidzar's arrival.

The manager took Abidzar into a CCTV room. At that place Abidzar saw a man in covered clothes. Seen several times peering inside. Then immediately enter after himself and Dzakiyya leave.

"After we checked further, the deceased was confirmed dead after this person entered the patient's room. Do you know this guy?" ask Manager.

"No" replied Abidzar. With such perfectly covered clothes how could Abidzar know that the man was his own mother.

"Should we ask the police to investigate?" ask Manager.

Abidzar thought for a moment. On this matter he had to talk about it with Dzakiyya. Because if it's related to the police agency, the grave of her in-laws must be dismantled for autopsy. Did Dzakiyya allow it?

"How, Sir?" ask Manager.

"I have to talk about this with my wife. He has more right to decide" replied Abidzar.

"All right, Sir! We're very sorry that there was an incident like this in the hospital" the manager said.

Abidzar smiled bitterly. Not their wrong side but him. If only he insisted on going alone. Maybe the story will be different. But despite all that, it's too late. This is the destiny line God has set.

"Then I say goodbye. I'll contact you after a discussion with my wife" said Abidzar.

"Okay, we're waiting for news from Mr. Abidzar!" manager Says.

The two men shook hands. Abidzar quickly withdrew and went home. Upon his arrival at home, Abidzar went straight to Dzakiyya. Very carefully said what he saw and waited for Dzakiyya's decision.

The eyes are back in water. Her mother had no enemies, but why would anyone harm her. "Mas, mama's dead. Can't we just let Mama rest in peace?" ask Dzakiyya.

Abidzar. What Dzakiyya said is true. But shouldn't we catch the criminal? Abidzar chose silence. Talitha gave a different opinion.

"Bak, if that figure is indeed the cause of Mama Santi's death. You could say this is a serious crime" Talitha said.

"Then. What good is that. Can you live again?" ask Dzakiyya.

Talitha hugged her sister-in-law. Slowly replied, "The dead cannot live. But if you let the bad guy run around, what if there's another victim?"

"What if the police can't catch him?" ask Dzakiyya again.

"Let God give the judgment in his court. At least we've tried" Abidzar replied.

Dzakiyya bit her lip. Not that I don't want to do that. But Dzakiyya was afraid. Afraid that the killer might actually exist. Afraid that the killer would take the lives of those closest to him again. Like Abidzar and Talitha.

"How, Ma'am?" ask Talitha.

"Do it!" answer Dzakiyya.
