CHAPTER O2: THE PACK OF WOLVES VILLAGE

The Pack of Wolves was embraced by the Astherielle community. The kingdom gave territory for them to stay. They built the countryside for the mercenaries, until over twenty years they settled there, becoming citizens of Astherielle state.

It is quite far from the city, but it is not a barrier for people to socialize with each other, until the Pack of Wolves began to lose their identity.

Some consider themselves just ordinary people who live in peace, the rest continue to serve as mercenaries, and it continues to stick in their minds.

At that time, the children came home from a school built by the kingdom in the village, so there was no need to travel far to the city. They ran out of the fence and approached their parents.

"That's.. Lord Eleazar!" Strangled one of the children in a sling. He pointed at a black-robed man with a sword behind his back. The white-haired man greeted every child and the people in his village kindly. They always welcomed Eleazar for his departure and return.

"Master! Welcome back!" Strangled the boy who was now in Eleazar's arms.

"Woah, last time I saw you were a baby, Berry?"

"I eat a lot, Mr. Eleazar!"

Eleazar again gave the child named Berry to his parents. Then they let Eleazar leave the road to go home.?

Everyone greeted him, whoever he was. Children, teenagers, even the elderly. They always held Eleazar high. In the eyes of those who have seen the struggle of Eleazar or the newly born into the world, Eleazar finds a peace for his own group.

Eleazar walked into the forest path, and continued to walk inside until he found his residence. A house built with a special touch from the community.

Her house was made of a banyan tree, a sacred tree that the kingdom gave to Eleazar. Because the man always returned with his body weakened, the tree was always made a home for him.

Eleazar went inside and headed straight for the stairs to his room. Upon arrival, he undid all his clothes, and dumped them in any direction. After putting his sword on the table, he immediately lay limp on a mattress made from the core of a banyan tree.

Eleazar began to feel warm, and felt the energy within him that was about to break was again in control. Although for a while, at least he was still able to breathe.

"You still insist, Eleazar?" The sound came from his balcony. There, there came a crow. Then the crow turned into a man.

"Elmers... Youknew... My return...?" Eleazar asked half-consciously.

"One village says your name, how do I not know?" Elmer went inside and checked the condition of the leader.

"Your regenerative power is weakening, Eleazar. The wound last week was even wet" Elmer said, touching a bandage that covered the wound on the man's back.

"I'll be fine..."

"Nobody's gonna be okay. Have you called Julius?" Ask Elmer.

"He's... It'll be very noisy..."

Elmer sighed and moved his hand once, instantly Eleazar's room instantly shook and moved down. The room instantly fused, and the wall of the door rose upwards until it completely fused with the main room.

"I don't understand drugs, but I do know herbal teas that can increase endurance" he said and walked to the kitchen.

Elmer looked through the ingredients in his kitchen, "Where are all... Is your kitchen finished, Eleazar?"

"Hm... I don't know..."

The man shook his head for a while then he remembered the backyard garden belonging to Eleazar. He immediately stepped onto the door behind the stairs, and opened it. At that time, he was shocked by the backyard appearance.

"Do you know how to set up a garden, Eleazar!"

Elmer closed the door and went back to the man's bed, "You are... I'll see when you-"

With a single swing of Eleazar's hand, Elmer's mouth was instantly covered by a leaf and the man was pulled out of the house by the tree roots. The door was sealed shut, and Eleazar's room went up.

"Bleh-You are so stubborn, Eleazar!"

"Don't bother me...!" Strangled Eleazar and then he went back into silence.

"He won't listen to anyone. Well me, Julius, even the village elders" Elmer sighed.

Elmer returns to his original form as a crow, and flies off to Julius' herbal shop. Upon arriving, he sees Julius serving a customer.

Elmer lands in Julius' hands, "Oh! Mr Elmer?"

Then Elmer changed, "Make me-"

"Repenerating herbal medicine?" Guess the guy.

Elmer nodded and went inside. He sits down at the waiting table, while Julius and several other employees return to work to make his order.

"You seem worried, Mr Elmer?" Julius asked who came to the table and sat down with Elmer. He offered coffee to the man who was thinking.

"Eleazar's condition is getting worse. If I don't give you herbal medicine, maybe he won't last a week" Elmer said.

"How was last week's wound?"

Elmer shook his head slowly, "Until now the wound was still wet. It'll keep bleeding if it's not bandaged."

Julius looked at Elmer with a worried face, "Even the banyan tree can't help much..."

"After all, the only way is to get a hold of life. But he's stubborn..."

"Master tried to persuade him?" Ask Julius.

"It has been more than twenty years since my persuasion, but Eleazar is still Eleazar" replied Elmer resignedly.

"Haha, Mr. Eleazar doesn't seem ready for a household yet. He is also busy with his work, I understand why Mr. Eleazar still insists" Julius said.

"But as you understand, still, he needs to perform the ritual."

Julius laughed for a while, and they resumed talking about Eleazar's health.

While at home, Eleazar was still lying in his bed. He opened one of his eyes, looking at his injured palm. With the rest of her strength, Eleazar opened up the energy in her body to regenerate her palm.

The particles of every air in the room were glowing and gathered in his palm. He groaned a little hard to use his strength, unfortunately the experiment did not work. The lights split and flew back into the air.

"Damn..." Aspersion.

However, Eleazar again used his power for the same. This time, he forced all the energy in his body to regenerate.

He did not realize that the energy in his body was getting out of control because it was constantly being forced. Although he managed to close the wound on his palm, but he had made a mistake.

Eleazar suddenly coughed until he got up from the bed. He kept coughing until he vomited so much blood. His bed was now full of the blood of Eleazar who kept coming out not only from his mouth, his blood also came out through his nose.

"Rituals..." Mumbled. He swung his hand, trying to bewitch his room to come down, but he was already completely unable to use his strength.

Forced, Eleazar had to stagger to the door and down the stairs by leaning against his chin so as not to fall. The walls were also exposed to his blood, as were the drops on each floor of the stairs he stepped on.

Upon Eleazar's arrival in the main room, he immediately spilled his blood onto the floor and carved out a large pentagram with his finger. Later, he tried to make a fire around the tip of the star in the pentagram, but he could not use his power. Right now, he is really dying.

He lay in the middle of the pentagram and kept bleeding a lot. With the rest of his strength, Eleazar flicked his finger once and a white light shot out from his hand.

"Elmer..." His whisper, then the light flew between the air of the day towards the city. The light made everyone stop doing their activities, and the white light they knew belonged to Eleazar.

"What happened to Mr Eleazar?"

"That's not good news..."

"Is he okay?"

They were whispering while continuing to look at that light that was visiting Julius' herbal shop. The light entered his house and approached the two beads of Julius's eyes that were receiving orders. Then, the blazing light disappeared and left dust glistening in the air.

"Elazar!"
