Ophelia'S Destiny Line

Ophelia'S Destiny Line
CHAPTER O3: THE BRIDE SUMMONS RITUAL

Elmer flew through space as he received the white light from Eleazar and changed when he was about to touch the ground. He ran in the courtyard of Eleazar's house, and went into his house. At that moment he saw a sight he did not want.

"ELIZAR!"

He waltzed in and saw a pentagram around Eleazar's body, "You're going to perform that summoning ritual?!"

"The fire..."

Elmer knew what he had to do. With his strength, he made fire at every end of the pentagram stars on that floor. Then, he bewitched Eleazar's room to descend down, and floated the man's blanket over Eleazar's body to cover his bride's body.

"Bring your bride, and everything will be fine..!"

Then the pentagram gave off a bright yellow light, circling Eleazar and filling the entire room. Elmer came out of the house, waiting at the door.

Eleazar closed his eyes and focused himself on starting the ritual. He remembered once with an ancestor greeting to open the dimensional gate. The Sanskrit words were spoken by him, then the light around him shone even more until it enveloped Eleazar's body.

At that time, Eleazar was in a dark room. In front of him was a gate that was opened. Eleazar approached the gate and sat down in front of it, unable to stand.

He extended his hand through an auroral light between the gates. Clearly, Eleazar felt his hand being grabbed by someone there.

"Was... Are you willing to be my bride?" Eleazar asked as he clasped something across the street.

"I'm willing..."

Hearing that answer, Eleazar instantly pulled a person inside, a woman. Then, he regained consciousness. The lights that surrounded him split and disappeared into dust.

Eleazar felt something that kept hugging his body. Every touch of a woman is like a spark that makes her warm and comfortable. He was unable to get up and take his bride to bed, as everyone did. Eleazar just curled up on the floor full of blood, and hugged the little girl aggressively.

The woman felt strange, because the person who called her to the supernatural world did not move at all. He turned his head to look at Eleazar, who was as if asleep, then he noticed that there was a lot of blood on Eleazar's body coming out of his mouth and nose.

He woke up and panicked, "A-are you okay?" He shook Eleazar's shoulders, thinking the man would wake up, but nil.

"Whoever... Help!!" His shouting. Luckily Elmer was still waiting at the door. Hearing that shout, Elmer opened the door and saw the figure that every man in the world always craved.

"Please! He.. he's unconscious! What... is he okay?!"

"Shh.. He'll be fine as long as you're around him... Maybe right now, he's asleep..." Elmer tried to calm the woman down.

With his strength, Elmer floated Eleazar and the woman to the top of the bed after replacing the bedsheet with a new one.

"I-i'm hovering!"

"Sleep with her, while I'll clean up this mess..." Elmer then lifted Eleazar's room up.

The woman was confused by what happened in the house. He saw a lot of blood, and even the person who called him was in bad shape. The woman confirmed Eleazar's sleeping position. He wiped the remaining blood on the man's lips and nose using a blanket as a cover for his naked body, then lay down beside Eleazar.

...━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━...

After spending the day asleep, the woman blinked her eyes and saw the ceiling of the house with flowers on it. He turned his head as he felt the calm roar of breath slashing down his neck. He finds the man who brought him into the world still asleep, by turning his entire body into a bolster.

She looked out of the balcony and realized it was dark.

"Are you going to sleep...?" She muttered while rubbing Eleazar's hair.

"I've never slept this quiet and comfortable before..." Eleazar answered almost in a whisper.

"Pardon me... But... Aren't you hungry?"

However, suddenly the sound of stomach rumbling sounded quite clear. The woman chuckled for a moment, "Haha-You should eat..."

"I just got back... There's nothing in the house..." Eleazar replied lazily.

"Could... I see your kitchen? You should eat anyway..." The woman insisted while trying to get rid of Eleazar's burly hands, she was unfortunately unable to do that.

Eleazar finally complied with the woman's request. With the energy in his body starting to get under control, he could use his strength to lower his room. With a single swing of a finger, his room moved down and fused with the main hall.

"Cool..." The woman muttered, and she again tried to remove Eleazar's hand from her body.

"If you hold me, how can I get to the kitchen...?"

The man let go of his embrace, and turned his body the other way to go back to sleep.

"Haha! Just like children..." The woman said, then she got out of the bed and walked towards the kitchen. He realized the room was clean, there was no more pentagram on the floor, or Eleazar's blood everywhere.

He began to look around at whatever was in Eleazar's kitchen. He checked for spices, empty rice storage, and a refrigerator that only contained a piece of sausage.

"empty... Don't you have any vegetables at all...?" She asked, but Eleazar remained silent.

He sighed in confusion, and his eyes saw a door behind the stairs. The woman walked slowly towards the door, but Eleazar immediately said, "Don't go there. It's already night."

"W-what's there?"

"The backyard garden, but I haven't been home for a week to take care of it."

"Oh..."

The woman returned to the kitchen and tried to make dinner. He made sausage soup with potluck ingredients. After she finished she served it in a bowl and took it to a table beside the bed.

The smell of the sausage soup managed to make Eleazar wake up without having to be awakened. He got closer to the table and started eating the soup.

"I've never eaten a meal like this" she said in surprise. Eleazar never really cooked. He only mixes ingredients he doesn't know about.

The woman sat down beside him, and her eyes were fixed on the wound on Eleazar's hand, as well as the bandages surrounding his body.

"Your name?" Eleazar asked as he continued to eat the soup.

"Ophelia..."

"Eleazar Asael, call as you please."

"Asahel?"

Eleazar glanced at her for a moment, "May."

The woman named Ophelia smiled happily. That night, is not the night that should be held a celebration banquet as is the custom of people after performing the wedding summoning ritual.

That night Eleazar used to rest so that the condition of his body was completely stable.

After dinner, Eleazar was still sitting on the edge of the bed because Ophelia was changing her bandages. His back wounds started to dry up, not as severe as before.

"So, what made you turn yourself in to the oracles?"
