Other Dream Women
Chapter 29. Red Box

This morning, became the first morning for Cahya where he was no longer busy with the routine he used to do. Usually in hours like this he was busy working with all kinds of household chores, especially cooking. But today he can relax because his work has been taken over by Asih. The existence of Asih is very useful and meritorious.

With the existence of Asih, making Cahya can preen to cool the view of her husband. In the morning like this, he who usually only wears a home negligee, can now look more charming. Cahya wears a maxi dress with a yellow floral motif as if welcoming this morning with happiness.

"How is the cuisine of Non Asih?" tanya Asih asked for an opinion while seeing the children of her employer is breakfast.

"Enak Bik's. Bik Asih cuisine is the same as Mother's cuisine. It's yummy!" praise Alina while eating her favorite fried chicken flour.

"Yes, if it's like this Malika wants to add more!" timpal the youngest who is also no less praised the cuisine of the monk Asih.

"Alhamdulillah if this beautiful Non likes it."

For Asih there is nothing much happier than the results of his work appreciated by his employer. And on the first day he worked at the residence Cahya already received appreciation from Alina and Malika. That really makes him happy.

Cahya who was preparing food for her two daughters could only laugh slowly at their behavior. He was grateful for the existence of Asih and Kasim in his house was welcomed by his daughters.

"That's obvious darling, this Asih bikah jago cooking so the cuisine must be delicious all. Tell me what try the same as Asih?"

"Thank you Bik. Cook like this again tomorrow!" alina Pinta.

"Together Non Beautiful. Ready, tomorrow make a meal like this again."

Back to his activities. He started washing some unused kitchen utensils. Certainly not to stack.

"Oh yes Bik, Kasim sir has coffee been made? If not, first made Bik, let the morning more excited," said Cahya.

After putting his supplies into a totebag, he switched to making coffee for Awan. Although there is already a housekeeper, but for the husband's coffee dish, he still made it himself.

"Already Mom. Mr. Kasim has even been coffee since dawn."

"Thank God, then Bik. Anyway don't hesitate yes. Think of it like a brother's house to Asih himself."

"Yes, thank you."

"I leave Ay, the kids let me drive to school" Awan said as he headed to the dinner table. He put his butt on the dining chair and began sipping a cup of coffee that had been served by his wife.

"Don't have breakfast yet?"

The clouds shake their heads. "No Ay, since last night my stomach has tasted bad. So lazy for breakfast. It'll be a little afternoon I'll eat near the office."

"All right then. I've taken some medicine, right?"

"It's Ay."

"Oh yes Mas, it looks like my hijab brooch fell in the car. Did you see Mas?"

"No Ay. I didn't find the brooch at all. Try to find it in the car. I may meet."

Cahya nodded her head. Without a second thought, he rushed into the car to look for his beloved brooch. Cahya looks so intense looking for where the silver object is located. Even down to the under-court bench was not separated from his sense of sight.

"No one is there? If it doesn't fall in the car does it fall on the beach? But it doesn't seem to."

Cahya was busy monologuing softly while remembering when the last time he met the brooch. He remembered very well if last night, on the way home, the brooch was still in the hijab he was wearing.

"Bu Cahya is looking for what? How do you panic that way? Do I need to help you, Mom?"

The eunuch who had just finished sweeping the courtyard and plucking the grass was a little astonished when he saw Cahya in confusion. He tried to offer help. Perhaps his employer was looking for something very valuable that fell in the car.

"No need sir, thank you. Only the brooch fell. Not meeting you is okay, sir. Better Mr. Kasim breakfast first together make Asih."

"What is the need for help, Mom?" ask Kasim once more to be sure.

"No sir."

"I'm sorry to go inside Mom."

"Please Mr."

"Ow ... Where ya?" lirih Cahya again looked closely at every corner of the car.

Still busy with his own thoughts, suddenly the corner of Cahya's eyes caught the sheet of paper sandwiched inside the dashboard. Out of curiosity, he extended his hand to open the dashboard.

Cahya's forehead was slightly wrinkled when she saw that there was a red color box stored there. For a moment ignoring the box, he focused on looking at the paper he had previously seen.

"Memory purchases worth forty million? What is this jewelry? What's in this red box of forty million worth of jewelry?"

Wracked by growing curiosity filling the chest cavities, Cahya picked up this red box. Slowly and with a racing heart, Cahya opened it. Both of his eyes were perfectly wide and his lips were wide open when he saw the various kinds of diamond-shaped jewelry were there.

"Didn't Mas Awan buy me gold jewelry yesterday? Who is this jewelry for? If I look at the purchase note, it's exactly the day that Mas Awan gave me the jewelry yesterday."

Cahya was getting stuck in her own mind. But a moment later, a faint smile rose on his lips. Suddenly he remembered one thing.

"Is this one of the gifts that Mas Awan is preparing for my birthday next week? Mas Awan deliberately kept this jewelry in the dashboard so as not to be caught by me?"

The face that was previously shrouded by curiosity about the jewelry, now the woman's face actually showed a happy twinkle that was so obvious. Cahya felt that her husband was very romantic because he had prepared a special gift for his birthday in advance.

"How's Ay, did you meet?"

The Clangs of the Clouds voice made Cahya's body aghast. With a quick motion the woman returned to keep the red jewelry box to its original place. He will pretend as if he never knew about the forty million worth of jewelry.

"No Mas. I searched everywhere even under the bench was still not met. Hmmmm... That's my favorite brooch."

"Keep how?"

"Yes it's okay. If it's gone, it means I have to explain."

"Do I need to buy it again, Ay?"

Cahya shook her head. Forty million jewelry that he believed would be a birthday gift for him, was enough to treat the loss of his beloved brooch.

"No need to. I still have some models that are almost similar to the missing ones."

"Yes already then. Me and the kids are leaving." The clouds turned their eyes towards his two daughters. "Honey, let's say goodbye to Mother!"

The two little girls took turns shaking Cahya's hand. Followed by Cahya who also bent his body a little.

"We're leaving first, Bun!"

"Yes dear, be careful and the spirit of learning yes son."

"Yes Mother."

Cahya re-establishes the body. He extended his hand to shake hands with his husband. As usual, the woman always accompanied the departure of Awan to fetch sustenance with his sincere prayers.

The clouds and the children got into the car. Slowly, the car driven by the Clouds drove away from the courtyard.

***

The sky was already looking neat with his formal clothes. This morning he was very ready to meet with Awan to conduct a sale and purchase agreement in front of a notary. Before leaving, the man with a brown eye lens took the time to prepare his own breakfast.

Slowly, Sky bit his sandwich piece bit by bit. He smiled bitterly. If under these circumstances it feels very sad. Cook yourself, wash your own clothes but more often he threw into the laundry, and the saddest thing is to sleep alone.

The sky breathed slowly. "It's true what my mom said. I should've thought of finding a companion. When did I live alone like this?"

The sky can only shake your head. Suddenly the shadow of the face of Dusk that once filled his day again filled his brain. It was as if his nerves were paralyzed which made him unable to forget the love he had for Dusk. If it is like this he feels he will never find happiness other than the lover who is now gone.

"Come on Lang, move on. Dusk will be sad if you see you like this. He must also want to see you living with another woman!"

The whisper of the heart is what makes the sky dissolve in his own mind.
