EP 01: Otherworldly Dimensions

My name is Darius. I'm 26 years old. On a clear morning I did the usual thing I did, which was work. On the way to the office I met my junior.

"Hello brother Darius" said my junior.

"Hello, today we go together".

However, while we were chatting suddenly there was a robbery. The robber fled and ran towards us with a knife. The robber was intending to stab my junior.

"What's wrong?" ask me

"It looks like there's been a robbery" my junior replied

"Oh no, the robber ran towards us. He was going to stab you" I said.

Unknowingly I moved to save my junior. I got stabbed right in the stomach. The robber fled, unable to be pursued.

"Sister darius!. I'll call an ambulance, hang on!" yell at my junior

I who was lying dying started hallucinating. I saw the shadow of my mother who was gone. Not long after that I started to lose consciousness and started closing my eyes.

When I opened my eyes I was in a vast meadow. I was wearing my office clothes. I wondered where I was while walking in search of a town or village. After walking far enough I saw a city with a bustling population. I entered the city however, I was suspected by the city guards because of my strange-looking clothes in that world.

"Where are you going?" ask the guard

"I want to go in" I replied

"Your clothes are suspicious, for now we will arrest you" the guard said

I was interrogated by the city guards.

"You who?" ask the guard.

"I'm darius"

"Where are you from?" ask the guard.

"I am from another world. I reincarnated into this world"

"Reincarnation? Ahaha! there is no such thing as reincarnation! For the time being you will be withheld" the guard said.

Not long after that the city was attacked by a horde of monsters. The guard who was guarding me, went to help attack those monsters.

"There's a horde of monsters coming to this city!" shouted the gatekeeper.

"Dam. I'll help! You're not going anywhere" shouted the guard.

I saw the opportunity to escape trying to remove the handcuffs placed in my hands. I tried to find something to open the handcuffs but, I found nothing to open them.

"Damn it, there's nothing that can be used to open these handcuffs. I'll try to pull my hand in the direction, maybe it's a stupid thing to do but there's no harm in trying" I said.

"Why is it so easy to get off the ground? Ah, I'll think about what's important I run away from here. I'll wear this cloth. I don't want to be arrested anymore because of my clothes" I said.

I went around the city wearing a cloth on the guard table to cover myself. While touring I saw a lot of adventurers who helped the guards attack monsters. The adventurers were carrying swords, arrows, spears and like magic sticks. I started to think their weapons were similar to fantasy stories and I guessed that I was in a world full of magic.

"They carry swords, arrows, spears, and magic sticks? I'm not in a magical world" I said

I still can't believe I'm in a magical world. I decided to take a break while calming my mind.

"I didn't think I was reincarnated into a world full of magic" I said

Not long after that I saw the guards and adventurers coming back. I saw some people get hurt, I also saw the guards guarding me back. I started to leave that place.

"Damn, they're back. I have to get out of here" I said

Without me noticing I had arrived at the city market. I asked the market merchant about the city.

"Excuse me, I'm a newcomer. I want to ask you about this city" I said.

"The city is called Renthum. The city is located in the suburb of Zerephyra. The city is famous for its delicious Renfruit replied the merchant.

"Is there an adventurer guild in this town" I asked

"The city has an adventurer guild.it is located near the main gate. Every adventurer has a level. From level E to level S. To move up the level must carry out the mission given by the people.The higher the level, the harder the mission. To level up could also be determined with magic capacity and magic ability and weapons when registering" the merchant replied.

"That's it, thank you" I said.

After obtaining some information about this world, I decided to try enrolling myself in the adventurer guild. before enrolling I was told to put my hands on the crystal ball to measure the magic capacity and abilities of the weapons and magic.

"I want to sign up to be an adventurer" I said.

When I put my hand on the crystal ball, I get a result with a magic capacity of 72 thousand, the ability to use weapons of 3 thousand, magic ability of 47 thousand. Instantly everyone in the guild was shocked to see my magic capacity and magic ability.

"What the hell with your magic capacity and magic ability!?" said one of the people in the adventurer guild
