EP 05: Government Mission
Three months have passed since we were trained. Now I can use all kinds of magic. One of them is teleportation magic. I was able to master teleportation magic within 2 weeks. Loretta was surprised to see me mastering teleportation magic within 2 weeks.
"I didn't think you could master teleportation magic in just 2 weeks. I can master it takes 4 years. You are indeed potentially the strongest magician in the world" Loretta said.
"Thank you, I'm also grateful to you maybe if you don't teach me properly I'll never master teleportation magic. So I'm very grateful to you" I replied.
We are currently being called to the palace. We were called to meet the man in charge of taking care of the royal hero. He's in charge of all things related to royal heroes like our gear. All equipment including armor is a gift from the kingdom. His name is Deren.
"For the taking of the royal mission you can pick it up in the adventurer guild. If you do not know the location, you can ask the registrar in the adventurer guild. The location of the royal mission is separate from the usual adventurer missions. Royal missions only existed in adventurer guilds in the capital. That's why the royal hero has to stay in the capital" Deren said.
"What's the difference between a royal hero and an ordinary adventurer?" Ask Rally.
"All the equipment of the royal hero is given the kingdom while the ordinary adventurers they have to buy their own in the store of equipment. After all the missions of the royal hero were extremely dangerous. The mission of the hero of the kingdom is above the stage S that is S+. We went to the adventurer guild. We asked the registrar where the special mission of the royal hero was located.
"The royal hero's special room is on the 2nd floor of the adventurer guild with a red door" said the registrar.
We went to that room and met the head of the adventurer guild.
"Are you the newly formed royal hero group?" ask the guild head.
"yes, I am right" replied Rally.
"This is a mission for you. Your mission is to kill the dragon that has scorched almost half the city. The city was called Kaleo. It is located in the southern city of Renthum. The guild head said to get to the city it would take 5 days by train. But if it's broken then it takes 3 days" said the guild's head.
"All right, we're gonna go use flying magic" I said.
"Why not use teleportation magic? I can go straight there" asked Roland.
"I can't use teleportation magic to Kaleo city because I've never been there. If I use teleportation magic instead we are trapped in time and space" I replied.
"Alright then we'll use flying magic" Rally said.
Because by flying can arrive within 3 days, we all decided to go by flying.
"Alright I'll give you flying magic" I said.
"All right" they answered.
On the way I saw many high hills. Therefore, to get to the city of Kaleo by train, it takes 5 days because it has to rotate. Three days passed. We arrived in the city of Kaleo.
"What the fuck! it's been almost the whole town burned" Angelica said.
"Hey look there's a resident!" Shouted Agustina.
We went to the people and asked about the dragon.
"What are you doing?" Ask Klaus.
"I was picking up things that could still be used" replied the resident.
"When did the dragon attack?" Ask Rally.
"The dragon usually strikes at night" replied the resident.
"Where is the refuge? Ask me.
"The refuge is in the north which is 2 Km from the city of Kaleo" replied the resident.
"Fight" replied the resident.
We rushed to the refugee camp and met with the city leader of Kaleo.
"How many fatalities were there from this incident?" Ask Klaus.
"The population of the city of Kaleo amounted to 230 thousand. The dead numbered about 40 thousand" Javan Kaleo city leader.
"How about we search the burned area there may be residents who still survive" said Agustina.
"There may still be something we can save" Angelica said.
At night, we stand guard in the direction the dragon usually comes. And the dragon is coming.
"I'm going to shoot that dragon wing. Fireballs!" yell me.
The dragon fell and we attacked the dragon.
"Augustina Clause I'll give you guys booster magic!" Shouting Rally.
" I'll help you! Water Bullets!" My scream.
"Be careful the dragon will let out fire!" Shouts Angelica.
"I'll hold the fire! Shouted Roland.
"Angelica, we're going to attack the dragon's eyes" I said.
"All right" replied Angelica.
"Fire Bow!" Shouted me while casting magic.
"The dragon is blind! Klaus, Augustina quickly attacked the dragon! My scream.
"Come Agustina! Death Stab" Shouted Klaus.
"Death Slash!" Shouted Agustina.
"The dragon is dead" I said.
We went back to the refuge and told everyone that we had killed the dragon.
"Everyone listen! The dragon that scorched almost the entire city we've killed!" Shouted Roland.
All the people shouted in excitement.
"Thank you for killing that dragon. You guys want what? I'll obey your will if I can?" Ask the city leader.
"Alright, we want to stay in this city one night" Rally said.
"Are you sure?" Ask the city leader.
"We're sure" we said together.
We couldn't ask for anything more because the city had just been attacked by a dragon.
