PASSION OF MY WIFE'S FRIEND

PASSION OF MY WIFE'S FRIEND
Lunch

During his time at Gavin, he made half of his salary for small business capital. Gavin always gave him more money, despite having refused repeatedly because he was reluctant, Gavin still transfers more than fifty-five percent of his salary. Abian also did not forget to give a living to his daughter, because Elona is his responsibility and obligation.

"Hey, what are you thinking?"

Gavin's question blew Abian's mind. He didn't know if the man would come to his cubicle.

"No, there's no. Sorry if I'm daydreaming."

"It's okay. It's lunchtime anyway. It's time to rest."

Abian glanced at the black watch that was coiled around his wrist.

"Want lunch together?" tawar Gavin later.

"I still have work to finish because I just daydreamed," Abian refused politely.

"Later you can continue. Now just have lunch. Come on."

Abian nodded obediently. And accept Gavin's invitation.

"Yes." Yeah."

Abian tidied up the files on his desk first, before then he left following the steps of Gavin who had already left.

Gavin and Abian eat at a nearby restaurant.

"Later I'll pay for my own food, I'm not good if you keep paying for my food."

"It's okay. You don't have to feel disinclined. Ah yes, how's your business doing?"

"Alhamdulillaah, went well. Thank you for helping me find people to trust. They're all good."

"Yes, you're welcome."

Not long after, a waiter came to deliver food to their table. After the servant left, they continued the conversation.

"How's my cousin doing now?" ask Abian suddenly.

"Grammy?"

"Don't say his name."

"He's improved. Even the last I heard from him yesterday he could walk."

Abian turned his head to look at Gavin who was still focusing on eating food.

"really?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Abian was silent for a moment. If Haikal can walk again, it means he is as difficult as ever to be together again with his small family. Haikal will definitely be the one to realize the dream they once planned.

Instantly Abian spirit eroded. Apparently he had to bury his hopes deeply. Aruna would never give her a second chance.

"Don't think anything. If it's my cousin who won Aruna in the end, you don't have to be sad. Aruna deserves to be happy with her choice. And I'm sure one day you'll get your share of happiness, too" said Gavin sage.

"The thing is I don't know myself, Vin. Can I find happiness again or not? Because my happiness is only with Aruna and my daughter."

"It's just a matter of time. You talk like this because you haven't found a person who will bring you that happiness. Just like you could say you'd stay loyal to Aruna before Ziva's arrival."

"Please don't mention her name again, I don't want to hear her name anymore."

"Yes, sorry" said Gavin.

"Yes, it's okay."

Abian resumed eating, though his mind was busy fighting.

"Now you just focus on your business. Because if your business venture succeeds, then you might not have to bother working in my company anymore. You'll be successful later."

Abian reviewed the smile. "Although later I will no longer work at your company. I will never forget you and your kindness. If in the end I succeed, it's inseparable from your help."
