In front of there was a fork, Ziva heard the boisterous sounds of people from the right corner of the street.
"I have to go there to check it out."
Ziva rushes away from there, worried that something might happen there. Just a hundred meters from where he had rested at the stop, he turned to the right. Fifty meters from there, he saw a car accident with a truck. Some people are crowding there.
"There was an accident?"
At first he was not interested in what was happening before his eyes. But somehow something pushed him to go there.
Arriving at the scene of the event, he split the crowd of panicked-looking people.
"Excuse me ... Pardon .. What's the matter?"
Everyone got out of the way when he came, because they thought he was a vagrant.
As soon as he saw who the accident was, Ziva silenced his mouth. Both of his eyes were perfectly rounded.
"Haidar???"
Ziva shook his head strongly. "No, no, no. It must be just a dream."
He tried to slap his own cheek to make sure what he saw was a reality.
"Oh my god, is this really Haidar?"
Ziva still does not expect if the man who is the father of a baby that he currently carries is lifeless. The man was covered in blood on his head and ears due to a violent impact.
Ziva decided to get away from there, getting away from the place with a small run.
After going far away from there, he sat on the shoulder of the road. His breathing was wheezing and his face looked like a dazed person.
"What did I see was actually Haidar? How is this boy?" Ziva reflexes rubbing his stomach.
"No, no. Why do I think of this man and this baby? Haidar deserved to die, that was his reward for what he did. And I'm going to keep throwing this kid into the orphanage. Yeah, I'll throw it away."
"Why does he always respond when I say I'm going to throw him into an orphanage? Is this a sign that she doesn't want me to throw it away?" thought.
Ziva rubbed his stomach. "Sorry, yeah. I had to throw you away. I do not want to be miserable because I have to take care of the baby alone in this situation. You're safer in an orphanage. I promise I'll see you back when I grow up."
Ziva kisses his palm and uses it to rub his distended stomach. Hope if the kiss gets to the baby who's in there.
Instantly his gaze was fixed on a large trash can not far from him. He hoped there he could get food and drink because he was very hungry.
"Hopefully there is food" he said expectantly.
Ziva got up and walked a few steps towards the big trash can. He opened the lid of his trash can and he immediately closed his nose. It stung so much, so it smelled he couldn't stand it and almost vomited.
It turns out there is rotten garbage in the maggots. But among the garbage, his gaze was fixed on a clear white scraped bag that had a food box inside.
"There's food. I hope there's still left."
Ziva took the food box, and underneath it was freshly bottled glass mineral water.
"There's a drink too."
Ziva went a few steps from there, and sat under a tree to avoid the sun that made his skin hot and almost burned.
He opened the food box and it turned out that there was food that was still intact. As soon as he smelled it, it was already a little stale. But at least it's worth eating.
He quickly ate the food voraciously, not caring about the pungent smell coming from the rustling bag that the maggots roamed in the garbage can. Most importantly, he can eat and be full.
"Alhamdulillaah ... Finally I can eat and drink until the stomach is full" he said, ending with a burp.
Ziva let out a small breath, then he looked up at the sky.
"Thank you, God. You're still good to me who's this sinner" he said closed with a tear.
