Chapter 10: Lady Xi's Rejection

After traveling for 2 hours and 25 minutes, the three of them arrived at Beijing international airport. A luxurious car had picked up the three of them outside the airport.

Kevin opens the door for Ellena but is preceded by Ella. The woman entered first before Ellena went inside. Ella sneered at Ellena. He was already very confident that Kevin would be sitting next to him. But the guess was wrong, not Kevin but Ellena sitting next to him.

"You must have thought Kevin would be sitting next to you, right? Don't expect too high, Ella." Ellena grinned sharply.

Ella did not give any response, although her facial expression showed that she was annoyed half-dead at this woman beside her. Yes, it was only Ellena who always managed to make Ella's mood bad.

"Key, how about we stop for lunch. I'm hungry" whined Ellena while holding her stomach.

Kevin looked back. Ellena looked at me questioningly. "Where do you want lunch?" ask Kevin.

Ellena shook her head. "Some, it's up to you. Or maybe we just stopped by Auntie Chen's shop, it's been a long time since I've eaten her beef rib soup. More precisely since there was a selfless woman who snatched you from me!!" Ellena said and made Ella's attention distracted. The woman looked at him for a moment.

"You insinuating me?!"

"No, do you feel insinuated?" Ellena sneered at Ella.

"You~!!"

"We're here, it's up to you to stay in the car or come down. Kevin, come on." Ellena went down first, followed by Kevin and then Ella. Ellena hugged her husband's open arms and took him inside the cafe. Ella followed behind them.

Occasionally Ellena glanced at Ella from the tail of her eyes. The woman again grinned, from earlier Ella continued to bend her face. Though she was Kevin's first wife, but her husband was more affectionate and caring for Ellena who was clearly his second wife.

And after lunch. They continued their delayed journey. Not to forget Ellena asked to stop by the cake shop for a while because she knew that Kevin's mother really liked Cheese cake.

Kevin did not tell his parents about his return today, he wanted to surprise his mother by bringing home the son-in-law of his dreams. Only his eldest brother knew he was going home with his wives.

Madam Xi looked curiously at her eldest son, Kris. He noticed that from now on, his eldest son continued to be busy himself preparing this and that. And when he asked, Kris only replied if there were any guests coming today.

"Kris, lookout!! Don't block Mama's path!!" he said while pushing Kris and just passing him by. "Kevin!!" he hugged his youngest son. It was obvious that Madam Xi missed him so much. "Bad kid, you finally came home to visit Mama too."

Kevin raised both his hands and returned his mother's embrace. "Sorry, Ma. Because I just got home now. And I didn't come alone, but I came with your son-in-law!!" he said and made the smile on Madam Xi's lips fade away instantly.

Ella who was heartbroken to hear her mother-in-law's words immediately approached the middle-aged woman. "Ma, what's my fault? Why can't you accept me as your son-in-law? Like it or not, you have to accept me as part of this family. Moreover, I am carrying the child of your son!!" ella said.

Madam Xi looked at Ella cynically."Why are you so confident that kid is Kevin's kid?! You could have been pregnant with someone else but confessed that the child was my son's flesh and blood!! All will be proved after the child is born, he is either Kevin's son or not!!" Madam chimed.

"Ella, enough!! I didn't bring you here to argue with Mama, if you can't keep your attitude, it's best to sleep in the hotel instead of here. If it wasn't for Ellena asking for it, I wouldn't have brought you here either!!" Kevin mediates his mother's argument with Ella.

Meanwhile, Madam Xi immediately rolled her eyes at Kevin after hearing the son mention the name of someone she missed so much, Ellena. "Kevin, who did you say?" ask Madam Xi to make sure.

"Ellena," replied Kevin briefly.

"Is he here? Is he coming with you? Then where is he?" ask Madam Xi. He searches for the whereabouts of Ellena's invisible nose shaft.

"He's there, Ma."

Then Madam Xi followed Kevin's direction. Ellena is seen coming out of the car driven by Kevin and Ella. The mother-of-three smiled broadly and walked up to Ellena and hugged her.

Ella looked at the scene in front of her in disbelief. Madam Xi refused him outright and now he hugs Ellena instead. "What the fuck? Why can't your mother accept me and night accept Ellena?!" Ella lays out her protest to Kevin.

Kevin looked back and looked at his wife. "So you want to know why Mama can accept Ellena but not accept you?! Because from the beginning what Mama wanted to be her daughter-in-law was Ellena, not you!!"

Then Kevin left in front of Ella and approached her brother. The two brothers hugged for a while. "Of!! Key, what happened to your temple and forehead? Why did it get bandaged like that?" kris asked curiously.

"Hn, there was a small incident. But it's okay, and it's almost healed." Answer Kevin.

Almost a week, but the bandage has not yet moved from the wound on his forehead and temples. The wound is still wet and sometimes even still bleed, let alone a sewing wound on his temple. It takes time to dry and heal.

Kris deliberately touched the bandage while slightly pressing it. Made Kevin squeal softly in pain. "Kris's sick!!" he yelled and distracted the three women. Madam Xi, Ellena and Ella.

Kris scratched his non-itchy nape. "Hehehe, sorry. I thought it didn't hurt anymore" he said full of regret.

"Already, no need to argue anymore. Come on in, you guys must be tired. You two better get some rest" Madam Xi asked Ellena and Kevin. Both smiled and nodded. While Ella was left behind by them, she was completely ignored by Kevin and his family.

While stomping his feet annoyed. Ella walked behind the four of them, this was her chance, and she should be able to take her mother-in-law's heart and make her hate Ellena.
