Chapter 16: Not Good Looking anymore
"Madam, he's already here,"
The woman nodded. "Please him in," then the woman's gaze rolled on Ella who was just staring cynically at him. But he didn't care that he was used to Ella's gaze. "Better prepare your mind, the Boss has arrived and he is here!!"
"It's great if he's here, because I just happen to want to meet that b*jerk!!" reply Ella chimed.

The sound of a door opening from outside, a man entered the room and approached two women who had just been involved in a small debate. Both of Ella's eyes widened after finding out who the man was.
"Kris, why is that guy you?!"
While Kris just smirked cynically."Heh, why are you surprised Ella?! Is this really a surprise you didn't expect?!"kris said the same often.
"Then what's your purpose in keeping me here?!"Ella looked at Kris curiously.
"For I can use you, because after all you can make a lot of money for me. Kevin dumped you on the edge of the forest, so I think it's a pity that people like you aren't being put to good use!!" Kris chimed in.
"You devil!! What exactly have I done wrong to your family, to the point that you treat me like this?!" Ella looked at Kris angrily.
Keep approaching the woman and then clutching her jaw. "Want to know what our Xi family is? You've made a huge mistake separating Kevin and Ellena. Do you know the consequences you caused from your greed?! How to forcefully separate two hearts that love each other, you throw away a mother's hope of having a daughter she wants!! Ella styled the man in front of her in disbelief."So because of that, then why is your reply so cruel. You treated me inhumanely, you demon Kris!! You are a real demon!!"
Chris smiled with disdain. "I take that as a compliment, be a useful person to me and you will find peace in life. But if you dare to boast and cause trouble, then don't blame me for being rude to you!!" Say Kris and just leave.
Ella shouted and cursed Kris loudly. But unfortunately Ella's cry was ignored by Kris altogether, she was cold and indifferent as she left Ella in her room.
Kris and Kevin make no difference, they are both men who have no conscience in anyone who dares to disturb the peace of his family. It's just that they do it in a different way. But the one thing that makes them the same is that they are both cold and heartless.

Elena opened the bandage that covered the wound on her husband's face, her heart breaking looking at the current state of Kevin's face. Several scars appeared to decorate his handsome face, and all of them were caused by him.
Although Kevin does not blame her, but Ellena still can not stop blaming herself for what happened to Kevin. "Why is your expression so?" Kevin looked at Ellena in confusion.
"Now your face is no longer handsome. This scar will definitely not go away and imprint, it will definitely greatly interfere with your appearance!!" Ellena said as she applied medicine to the wounds.
"You still blame yourself?" Ellena shook her head. "What do you mean by that?!"
The Korean-American woman took a deep breath and split it violently. "I don't blame myself anymore, but facts can't be covered let alone changed, Kevin!! If you are hurt because of me, because of my selfishness, because of my childish attitude!! Ellena explained.
Elena smiled broadly at what Kevin was saying, and indeed those words were what she expected. "This is better, I feel calm now. You finally admit that I was wrong." Ellena.
Kevin grunts amusedly. The man shook his head at Ellena's slightly childish behavior. The corner of Kevin's lips was pulled up. Anxiously she clings to Ellena's brown head. Instead of being annoyed and angry, the woman even chuckled amusedly.
"Already continue!!"
"Okay, Young Master!!" Reply Ellena and again she gets love from her husband. Ellena chuckled, she rubbed her head that had just been grabbed by Kevin and resumed her work that had been delayed.
After treating and replacing the bandages on Kevin's face. Then Ellena went to see her mother-in-law who was busy in the kitchen preparing dinner. She was about to help him, even though Ellena herself was aware that she could not cook at all. But there was at least something useful he could do rather than just sit back and wait.
Elena's arrival was greeted with a warm smile by Madam Xi. The mother-of-three allowed her beloved daughter-in-law to join her and Kyra. "In the midst of Mama and Jiejie's time, the aroma is very delicious and appetizing."
"Today Mama deliberately made traditional Chinese food, so you're still here so Mama wants to show off her skills in cooking Chinese food." Kyra said.
Elena's eyes twinkled at what her sister-in-law said. "Really, Ma?" Madam Xi nodded. "Well, I can't wait to taste it right away, from the smell alone it looks like it's delicious." Ellena.
"So soon to be done, let's help Mama quickly." Ellena smiled widely and nodded her ass.
And in the meantime...
In chamber. Kevin was talking to someone on a phone call. Judging from their conversation, it seemed like Kevin and that person were discussing something very important. "You are the one I can count on the most, I will treat you to drink for your help!!"
And after saying that sentence. Kevin disconnected his phone just like that. He put his cell phone in his pants pocket and sauntered away leaving his room.
