PEAK OF LOVE

PEAK OF LOVE
Last message...

The sparkling stars and the cloud-covered moonlight were watching the marriage contract held in a modest house located in the apple city. After Emran explained that his family did not know about his relationship with Dina, Mr. Rusdi decided to marry them religiously or can be called serial marriage.

Some of Mr. Rusdi's neighbors began to come to attend the sudden invitation of Mr. Rusdi. A tumpeng and some rice boxes have been arranged neatly in the living room as a wedding celebration of the series Emran and Dina.

"Oh my God, I hope what I'm doing is not wrong. I'm sorry Ma, Pa, I have to do all this without your permission." Emran murmured in his heart. She was worried about her parents. A great love he will prove by fulfilling the request of his lover's parents.

In front of Mr. Rusdi, Emran began to say Ijab kabul with an ustad representing Mr. Rusdi. Only one time Ijab kabul Emran has been legally the husband of a beautiful woman named Dina Silvana.

"Hurry up and take care of your marriage papers, son." Said Mr. Ustad after reciting prayers for their marriage.

"I'll take care of it soon sir, thank you for attending our invitation." Emran said in front of the Ustad.

Mr. Rusdi smelled his smile, he shed his tears when he saw the radiance of happiness from the look on Dina's face. He could breathe a sigh of relief, because Dina was already with the man he had loved all along.

One by one Mr. Rusdi's neighbors began to leave to go home. The three of them were standing on the porch after driving home invited guests.

"I also want to go home first. I have something to finish tonight." Emran said to Dina.

In Malang, Emran contracted a large house with complete facilities in an elite housing complex not far from the printing warehouse he managed. A house he could live in while in the city. Three days he was in Malang and three days he returned to Mojokerto to help Mr. Roni take care of his two factories.

"Stay here, son. You have been legally husband and wife even though religiously." Said Mr. Rusdi.

"Sorry sir, I have to finish the job first. I'll stay here tomorrow, sir." Emran said with a smile. He followed Dina who entered the house, but his steps had to stop because his hand was pulled by Mr. Rusdi.

"What's up, sir?" Ask Emran.

"Father entrusted Dina to you, son. Please don't hurt your son. I'll leave Dina to you." Said Mr. Rusdi with pleading eyes.

Emran looked at the pale-looking face before him. He hopes that his father-in-law will soon recover from his illness.

"Mr don't worry. I'll take care of Dina as you want. I'll love Dina anytime, sir." Emran said with a serious face.

"Thank you, son. Then come on in, eat before you go home." Mr. Rusdi pulled Emran into the house.

Mr. Rusdi smiled happily, looking at Emran and Dina who were eating in the kitchen. He watched the beautiful view from the sofa in the middle room. Although only a series wedding, Mr. Rusdi was relieved because there was a bond between the two of them.

"Bu .. Your little daughter is now married. There is already a man who has replaced the responsibilities of the Father. May you be happy there, I miss you." Mumbled Mr. Rusdi in his heart. His eyes were closed to remember his wife who first returned to the lap of God.

...💠💠💠💠...

The cold night wind burst into the gray room. A laptop still on, drinks cans and food scattered on the table accompanied Emran who was asleep in front of his laptop.

"Dina!!" Shouted Emran as he opened his eyes. Cold sweat washed over his body. He glanced at the clock that showed at four in the morning.

"Alhamdulillah!! just a dream." Emran murmured while rubbing his face rough. In his dream, he saw Dina mired in the river, he saw Dina who was crying for help for fear of drowning to the bottom of the river.

Emran got up from his chair, he walked to the bed to look for his cell phone which he put on the nightstand. His eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw the many missed calls from Dina.

The streets of Malang city are still dark, because the dawn of the new morning reverberate. He increased the speed of his car to get to Dina's house immediately. Ten minutes later, Emran stopped his car in front of Dina's house, seeing many neighbors at her in-laws' house.

"Innalillahiwainnaihirojihun ..." Emran said when he saw the body of his father-in-law covered in brown pull cloth in the living room. He immediately went in to look for Dina's whereabouts.

Emran stopped his steps in front of the door of Dina's room, he saw two mothers trying to resuscitate Dina who was lying on the bed.

"Dina!!" Emran. Both of Dina's neighbors came out of the room to make room for Emran.

"Bay ... wake up! Bay. I'm here." Emran patted Dina's cheek. He also grabbed the eucalyptus oil that was on the table.

Dina slowly blinked her eyes, as she felt the heat around her nose. He looked at Emran who was sitting next to him.

"Cambi ... Mr beb ... " Dina's cry broke instantly seeing Emran's presence by her side. He was aghast and hugged Emran, he was crying so much that in the arms of his husband.

"Patience yes bay .. let's go ahead to accompany the Father, we must take care of the Father for the last time." Emran said, her tears came down because she was sad to hear the cry of the woman she loved so far.

Emran brought Dina to the living room, her cries became more uncontrollable when she saw the body of her parents who were lifted to be bathed immediately.

"Bay ... already Bay ... Don't be like this, Kasian Bapak bay! " Said Emran who grabbed Dina's body back into her arms.

"Mr already gone baby ... You left me here alone." Said Dina with a sharp breath. The neighbors who heard Dina's words also cried because they saw Dina's sadness.

One by one the activities have been completed, at exactly seven in the morning, the body of Mr. Rusdi is ready to be dispatched to his final resting place not far from his residence so far. Again and again Dina had to fall unconscious when this four-wheeled chariot departed for the last place of all humans later.

"I picked up my wife first, Mom." Emran said to one of Dina's neighbors. He had to take his in-laws to a place called the Public Funeral.

One by one the residents began to leave the tomb when Mr. Ustad finished reciting prayers. Emran was still standing next to his mother-in-law's grave, staring at the white headstone that read the name 'Rusdiantoro'.

"Father, Emran promised to look after and love Dina. No matter what the circumstances are, I will defend Dina. You are calm there, sir." Lirih Emran with a hand that rubbed the headstone in front of him.

Before moving from where he had been pensive, he remembered all the last chatter last night with Mr. Rusdi, he did not think the words said by Mr. Rusdi was his last message. Emran is grateful that he has carried out Mr. Rusdi's last wishes, even though he himself has not received the blessing of his parents.
