Pouring rain...

Two months later....

Today is the day that the Mid-Semester Exam or what is called UTS has been completed. All students have returned home but not for students who are appointed to fill the graduation event for the twelfth grade students who will be held at the end of next month.

All the students who filled out the event began training to perform at their best in front of the invited guests who would attend the event. Of the many students who will perform, one of them there is Elsa and Ivan who will duet sing two songs with the accompanying school acoustic guitar that will be played by Ivan.

In the music room now Elsa and Ivan are practicing with extra-curricular teachers of music arts, they are both trained to be able to display the best work for this school.

"What song do you want to sing?" Ask the music teacher named Mr. Ulil.

"If you can a song that you really master and do not forget you should also be able to make the audience get carried away when seeing your performance, create good chemistry." Said Mr. Ulil while staring at Elsa and Ivan.

For a moment the atmosphere became silent, Elsa and Ivan think about what song they will bring later because this is not a practice in front of his friends but in front of the guardian students and invited guests who will be present in the building the meeting belongs to his school.

"How about we perform the song Acha Ft. Irwansyah's titled My Heart Van?? this song is phenomenal Van, many like it too." Elsa said after a moment of thought.

"So, if there's a chord for practice" replied Ivan as he looked at Elsa.

"What if my song is the one that decides??" Mr. Ulil's proposal.

"May sir." Answer Ivan.

"You guys try to find the chord there first, I'm going to the teacher's room for a second." Said Mr. Ulil while pointing at the computer that was on in the corner of the room.

Elsa walks to where the computer is located, she opens a website to search for lyrics and chords of songs that will be sung later, she said, meanwhile Ivan is currently tuning the strings of an acoustic guitar that is in his lap.

A few minutes later Mr. Ulil came in again just as Elsa finished printing her chord keys. Mr. Ulil brought a paper containing the lyrics of the song along with his chord to be handed over to Elsa and Ivan.

"This is the second song you will be performing. The song from Vagetoz's band called Your presence. This song is perfect for you to sing. Indeed, this song is not a duet song but later we can set how delicious." Said Mr. Ulil before sitting on a chair near the window.

Ivan received a paper given by Mr. Ulil and then read the lyrics of the song written on the paper. He felt the lyrics of Vagetoz's song were the same as his current mood

"Why are you smiling to yourself Van?" Elsa asked in a soft voice as she saw Ivan suddenly smiling to himself as he read Mr. Ulil's paper.

"Try to read the lyrics to this song." Ivan handed the paper he held to Elsa, but Elsa had not had time to read her Pak ulil had given orders that they start rehearsing her first song.

Ivan starts memorizing the chord keys while Elsa sits in a chair by the window to memorize the lyrics. Mr. Ulil was standing in front of Ivan to give instructions on how to play the guitar properly and correctly.

The exercise continued until the time had shown at two in the afternoon. Mr. Ulil ended this exercise because it was time for them to go home. After chatting some things with Ivan and Elsa, Pak ulil immediately came out of the music room leaving Ivan and Elsa both.

"Let's El go home, see it's cloudy his's come." Ivan said as he looked at the sky that began to fill with cloudy clouds from behind the window.

"I forgot to bring my jacket again!!" Elsa pulled over her eel after remembering her jacket missed in the car.

"Come El, I'll drive you to the hospital to get your car." Ivan said as he grabbed Elsa's hand to get out of the music room immediately.

Elsa walks beside Ivan to the parking lot where Ivan's motorbike is. Elsa immediately put on a helmet that was always carried by Ivan and after that he immediately climbed on Ivan's bike.

"Here Van sit here Van, don't be there!! you'll get rain water." Said Elsa while patting a long bench made of bamboo that is in her current place.

Ivan got off his bike and immediately sat down next to Elsa. He kept staring at the sky that was still covered in dark clouds.

"Van, when you were a kid, did you ever play in the rain like they did?" Elsa asked as she pointed at the little boy who was playing with his friends under the rain.

"It was El!! Every rain I'm always like them." Ivan said as he looked at Elsa.

"Your son Van, can play freely with your friends." Said Elsa in a soft voice.

"Indeed you never El??" Ask Ivan.

"No Van. I could never play free like them. I'm always in the house playing by myself with toys that my mom bought." Elsa answered while bowing her head when remembering her lonely childhood.

Ivan felt sorry to hear Elsa's words, he did not expect Elsa to ever go through childhood without freedom like other children.

"Don't be sad!!" Ivan said as he rubbed the top of Elsa's head.

"From today onwards I won't let you be lonely anymore. I'll be ready to drive you wherever you want to go El." Said Ivan to comfort Elsa who was melow.

"Thank you Van." Elsa said with a sweet smile that rose from her lips.

Almost twenty minutes they had been sheltering in front of this closed shop but the rain had not stopped. Elsa began to get cold because the wind began to come to accompany the falling of this increasingly heavy rain. Ivan immediately took off the sweater he was wearing at this time when he saw Elsa who was struggling due to the gusts of wind that were getting louder.

"Wear this El don't get cold!!" Ivan said as he gave his sweater to Elsa.

"You're the one with the van, I'm fine." Elsa said, giving back Ivan's sweater. Without saying much Ivan stood up from his seat, then he faced Elsa and put on his sweater for Elsa.

"At least this sweater will protect you from the current wind, yes even though it looks dirty because of greatness!!" Seloroh Ivan while looking at the face of Elsa who met red.

"Thank you Van!!" Elsa said as she looked at Ivan who was still standing before her.

"You always make my heart feel warm Van..." Elsa continues in her heart.
