Why this song?

The sun was emitting its rays with great vigor. The clear weather enveloped the city of Mojokerto and its surroundings. Now Ivan is sitting in the living room in Elsa's house, waiting for Elsa to enter Emran's music room to pick up the guitar inside.

Still in full uniform, Elsa comes out of her house with a guitar in her hand. He sat on the sofa beside Ivan.

"What song do we want to sing, Van?" Elsa asks Ivan who started to try Emran's guitar.

"As for you, what song can you sing?" Ivan asked without looking at Elsa. For a moment Elsa thought what song she was good at.

"How about Acha's duet song with Irwansyah, the title is Ada Cinta." Said Elsa after remembering the song that she often sang with Emran first.

"There's Love?? so I have to sing too?" Ivan asked while looking at Elsa's face.

"Yes Van, his name is also a duet. I got a note of the lyrics and the chord." Elsa stood up and walked into Emran's room again to take the note she meant.

Moments later Elsa returned to the living room with Emran's chord in hand, Elsa gave the note to Ivan for his study.

"Van, you learn the Chord first. I'm gonna change clothes first." Pamit Elsa before passing away went towards her room.

After Elsa's departure, Ivan begins to learn the chord of the song that Elsa wants. Ivan also tried to sing Acha and irwansyah's song. Ivan had never sung this song at all so he had to memorize it first.

Elsa returns to the living room with snacks and cold drinks for Ivan. He sat back down at his place of origin while looking at Ivan who was memorizing the lyrics of the song.

"Van, get a drink first." Elsa looked at Ivan's face.

"Thank you." Ivan replied before taking a glass containing a cold drink.

Without wasting time they both immediately practice to sing the song that will be practiced next week. Ivan concentrated on memorizing chords that were easy for him. He also started to memorize his songs. Ivan raised one eyebrow after digesting the lyrics of the song desired by Elsa, he glanced at Elsa who was reading the lyrics note in her hand.

"Did he choose this song on purpose..." Ivan murmured in his heart.

"Is there no other song you can besides this El?" Ivan asked, looking at Elsa.

"Nothing, just this song that I memorized." Elsa said without looking at Ivan.

"Why should this song?" Ask Ivan again.

"Yes because I memorized the lyrics, I often sang this song as my brother used to." This time Elsa looked at Ivan's face intently.

"Because this song fits us right now Van..." Elsa continues in her heart.

Ivan turned his gaze the other way because Elsa's gaze was so heart-shaking. He won't be strong if he looks at Elsa for too long. He refocused on memorizing the lyrics of his song.

Time continued to pass until the sun slowly descended toward the west. Ivan immediately said goodbye when he heard the sound of the ashar adhan in the mosque in the Elsa housing complex. As Ivan moved from his seat, suddenly Bu Kana walked into the living room.

"Assynoltom..." Said Mrs Kana.

"Waalaikumsalam.." replied Ivan and Elsa bebarengan. The two of them turned their eyes towards the door where Bu Kana was at this moment.

"Mrs...!!" Said Elsa who was a little surprised to see Bu Kana coming home at an hour like this.

"This is Ivan Ma, Elsa's classmate. We're studying Ma's group..." Elsa replied with a faint feeling.

"Oh yes, please continue." Said Mrs Kana.

"Sorry Mom, we're done. I'll go home first, ma'am..." Ivan said after approaching Bu Kana. He leaned over to kiss the back of Ms. Kana's hand.

"Oh why the rush?? if it's not done, continue." Said Bu Kana after Ivan straightened his body.

"We're done, ma'am..." Ivan said before walking out of Elsa's living room.

Elsa walks behind Ivan to take Ivan to the porch. Elsa stared at Ivan's back which slowly moved away from her gaze. Elsa immediately went into his house, not forgetting he brought in Emran guitar that had been used in training with Ivan.

Ms. Kana sat in the living room while waiting for Elsa who was still in the music room not far from the family room.

"Glam!! Sit here..." Said Ms. Kana when she saw Elsa going up the stairs. Without saying much Elsa followed Bu Kana's orders to sit next to her.

"What's the matter Ma?" Elsa asked as she sat down next to Ms. Kana.

"What was your boyfriend?" Ask Bu Kana without saying stale.

"No Ma, we're just friends." Elsa answered while looking at her face.

"Do you believe in El?" Asked Bu Kana with his serious face.

"Yes Ma we're just class mates." Elsa pressed down on the word friend as she spoke in front of Bu Kana.

"Yes, you've taken a shower!! Remember El the words of the old Mama, you can't date first, you have to focus on school." Said Bu Kana by looking at Elsa's face seriously.

"Yes Ma." said Elsa with a sweet smile on her face. After the conversation ended, Elsa decided to go to her room. He walked up the stairs of his house one by one with a troubled heart.

"After this Mama can't tell if I'm with Ivan a lot. I have to be careful if I want to stay with Ivan." Elsa muttered in her heart as she walked into her spacious room. He immediately laid his body on the bed to rest for a while before performing the afternoon ritual in the bathroom.
