Nick stroked the face of his son who was asleep in peace and then he kissed his puffer cheek.

"Our son's grown up baby, did you see him there?" nick remembers his late wife.

Nick shuts up as soon as he pulls Kate's instant noodle bowl and eats it.

Nick chuckles at hearing it until he forgets his goal of wanting to get drunk as he always does when his mind is screwed up. Ah, Nick does not deny if Kate can restore his chaotic mood maybe that's why he did not refuse when Kate asked to stay with him.

Now the two of them sat by the pool together in silence. Until Nick opens his voice.

"So, you've never dated, Kate?" ask Nick curiously.

Kate nodded. "I'm not interested in dating, life like this is hard. Dating will only make my life more exhausting. I have to call him not to mention that if we fight we have to forgive each other. I don't want to waste my energy on that."

"Since my parents died, I have lived at the mercy of others. My life was so hard, I had to work alone to be able to pay for my school and college. But look now I'm still a useless person without dreams."

Nick breathed his breath rough. "I'm not the guy who ran away from Kate's responsibilities. I'll marry you if you can change your bad habits!"

Kate smiled and heard it. "For now I can't do anything Nick but I'll try harder!"

"Um, there's actually one thing I can do!"
