Chapter 48. Make Peace with Life

After Riko left, Riana just stepped past Erick's mother's body.

"Erick all because of Mom and Dad, do you need to explain?" Novi feels guilty about this problem because it all started from him.

"No Ma'am. Let Erick explain." Erick patted his mother on the shoulder and then got up to catch up with Riana.Erick rushed after Riana who climbed to the fourth floor.

Erick opened the door as Riana sat on the edge of the bed.His face lowered to hide her tears.

Erick sat crouching before Riana. "I'm sorry Riana, I promised not to make you cry, but I'm the reason you're crying." Erick clasped Riana's hand and wiped her tears.

"You can go, I'm not the man Nyang deserves to be with you" Erick said.

Nothing was said from Riana's lips only tears that continued to be shed.

"I'll take you back to the mansion." Erick headed for the walk in closet was about to take care of Riana's clothes but only a few steps of her body on deckap from behind.

"I don't want to part from you Erick" Riana sobbed.

Riana tries to put aside her ego must be sick to have to share a husband with another woman. Erick had sacrificed enough for her to accept her shortcomings and accept her pregnancy which was clearly not her flesh and blood but she rejected her son who was clearly her seed in Agnes's birth.

The two hugged each other.

"I promise that after Agnes gives birth I will divorce her because what happened between me and Agnes was only a compulsion" Erick kissed Riana on the forehead.

A few days later.

Erick stays at Agnes' house at Riana's request.

Looking at Agnes, Riana looks like she has a past but Agnes is more fortunate to have a husband despite not loving her.

Riana is four months old. His stomach looks swollen even though it is not so visible. He also began to slowly love and accept the baby in his womb like a miracle.

"You still haven't slept dear," she gently rubbed her stomach.

"Mommy's happy even if Daddy leaves there's you who nemenin Mommy," gently swiped back. Her timid tears finally seeped out disrespectfully.

"Mommy," Steve screeched into Riana's room.

"Sorry Madam, young master forced his way in" said Mira feeling bad.

"No pa, let Steve sleep here." Riana tells Mira to leave after Steve gets into her bed.

Steve hugged mommy and his sister who was still in his stomach.

"Sleep deck," said Steve.He had even closed his eyes that were quite sticky.

Riana rubbed her two hearts for her a gift even though they were born from a mistake but they were still born holy.

"Why do you give me this life Niko.If we were together maybe these two children of your heart would be happy to get sincere affection from their real father not from his father, he continued," murmured Riana.

Either tonight because Erick's first night left her to spend the night with another woman or what but Riana was really feeling down. He again felt the darkness of his life, a life that played tricks on him. Although the money is stacked but happy life can not be bought.

Happiness is a feeling of pleasure not measured by wealth and wealth but a happy soul and mind.

Elsewhere in Agnes' apartment. Erick closed his eyes after breaking free from Agnes. Agnes who continues to force him to have a husband-wife relationship in rejected Erick. He did not order Riana to fulfill her duties but just accompany the pregnant woman in another room.

Erick's eyes stared at the ceiling of his room. He did not expect his life to lead him to be in a difficult choice but life must go on. She would wait for Agnes to give birth after divorcing her.

"Look." Screeches from Agnes' room made Erick rise from his bed.

"What's wrong?" ask Erick worriedly.

Just then Agnes held onto her stomach while grimacing.

"Erick my stomach hurts like I'm cramping my stomach, au." Agnes returned in pain.

"Then what do we do, we go to the doctor?" Erick looks worried. Erick was about to help Agnes but the woman pulled her hand towards her still flat stomach.

"You just have to wipe like this" Agnes said.

Erick finally complied with Agnes' request to gently rub Agnes' stomach. Agnes smiled triumphantly.
