Chapter 9. Steve's Prayer

Riana immediately takes Steve to the hospital to meet him with Niko.

"Mommy, who's this?" Steve looks confused when already in the room Niko treated.Niko's body is filled with bandages only his face is visible but also filled with wounds.

"Your Daddy." Riana lifted Steve's body into his lap and put Steve's hand together with Niko's hand but immediately Steve pulled his hand.

"Daddy Sev isn't him but Daddy Liko!" peekik Steve's.

Steve showed a look of dislike face with a shift of his eyes.Riana only smiled with Steve's attitude considering he was only three years old.Steve only knew his Daddy was Riko not the man in front of him so Riana did not want to force her son that's.

"Steve you don't want Daddy Niko to leave so persuade him to get up quickly" asked Riana patiently.

Slowly Steve began to look at the man in front of him, when it was seen Niko shed tears from her closed eyes. "Mommy, um that's why she's crying, is she sick?"

Riana nodded as well.

Steve was also pitying. "Oh my God, Sev please make this Om quickly heal bial no longer cry."

Steve raised both his hands in prayer.

"Aamiin," continued Riana.

Riana then stroked Steve's head and kissed him.

"You hear!your son is praying for you, get up!you don't want to see it.Steve looks like you see you're like twins." Riana looked at Niko for a moment and then turned to Steve.The faces of both are indeed very similar.Steve inherited all the good looks that Niko has even Steve is much more handsome.

While togetherness of the three became the attention of Erick who was outside the room.

"You've always rejected me because you still love that man" Erick murmured.

The man immediately diverted his attention because he did not want his heart to get sick.During this Erick always waited for Riana and finally the grief that now felt.

Suddenly Erick's hand was held by a man who was none other than Riko's superior.Erick lowered his head saluting his superior.

"Are you just going to let them go?be a stubborn man for the sake of getting your wish because otherwise you won't get your wish because only regret will you get!" riko firmly.

The man just bowed down without saying anything inner also wanted to do the thing that his boss said but he was not as brave as his boss.

Riko is very eager to see Riana happy with Erick because the man in front of her knows Erick is the best man for Riana.Several years Riana in America even the man always keep love for his sister.Erick is also the one who always looking after Riana because it was from Erick, Riko knew all of Niko's bad treatment.

Riana began to actively work in her office. A few days waiting for Niko, the man remained unconscious made him decide to return to work.Some days ago Riana did decide to step down but eventually she changed her mind because by working she would forget her problems.

Riana rushed to the hospital but suddenly Riko entered her room.

"Tumben here, brother?"

"Sister purposely came to your office to take you home together." Riko said with a smile.

"Go home, brother, I want to go to the hospital."

Riana stepped on her foot but only a few steps her hand was held back by Riko. "It's enough that you care about that jerk, you've even been tortured by him!you've forgotten!" firmly Riko looked sharply at Riana.

Riko was completely inexhaustible with Riana's attitude.During this even the man made her suffer but still cared about her.

"He's guilty, brother, but Niko is still the daddy of my son, I don't want Steve to be an orphan!" Riana threw Riko's hand and then stepped her foot with a look of disappointment.

"Riana!" peekkik Riko

But Riana still stepped away without caring about it.Riana's steps swung towards the besment.His focus was on a man who stood giving his car.

"Erick, what are you doing?" ask Riana.

"I'm waiting for you" Erick explained.

"I have to go Erick we'll talk tomorrow." Riana opened her car but Erick's burly hand held her back.

Erick immediately grabbed Riana from behind. "Can you forget that guy, I so ... love you." Erick stammered a little about his feelings.

Erick is indeed not a romantic man who can easily express his feelings let alone inflame love like a man out there for him to express love like this is his greatest courage.

For a moment Riana was lulled by the love word from Erick but it was only for a moment because Riana immediately unraveled Erick's embrace.

"Sorry Erick I have to go." Riana got into her car and drove away leaving Erick still glued in place.

Riana looked at the man's face from the rear view of her car.

"I'm sorry, Erick," he murmured, his car was racing through the streets in the late afternoon.
