"What's wrong?" Marcel raised his head which had been fixed on the document sheet on his desk and now turned his gaze towards Alya who was standing in the doorway of his room.
"Sa-I want to talk to you." Nervous Alya.
"Please sit!" Marcel pointed to the sofa that was on his desk, then he rose from his big chair to the sofa where Alya was sitting.
"About the project Rudy was talking to you about, it's for God's sake that I don't know about it, you can reject it, if you're not interested, don't force yourself to accept it." Alya.
"But I'm interested. You better not think too much of a no-no, I know what I'm doing." Said Marcel who seemed to understand very well if Alya now felt bad about him.
"But--"
"Oh, trust me. I really know what I should do, you better take care of yourself from now on, you live alone away from my reach and also my supervision, I'm asking you to be more careful about everything." The word arcel cuts alya's speech.
Honestly, Alya did not understand why Marcel told him all that, what he meant by having to be careful of all things, what exactly Marcel wanted to tell him Alya really did not understand, what and who should Alya beware of he really does not know, but clearly Marcel seems to know something he does not want to know.
"Is there something you're hiding from me?" Ask Alya.
Marcel shook his head slowly, "No," he replied briefly.
"Lantas about the project that was-"
"I've either accepted it or I'll reject it later, which obviously has nothing to do with you, all you have to do is take care of yourself." Again Marcel just asked Alya to take care of himself, not what Marcel was worried about actually until he said it over and over again to Alya.
"Thank you." Alya said, nodding slowly as if to say that she will take care of herself.
"E, Alya!" Call Marcel, stop Alya's footsteps who almost came out of his room.
"This afternoon let me drive you home." Marcel said as Alya turned her body towards him.
"Hmm," Nodded Alya without saying a word, for some reason she seemed unable to reject Marcel's invitation just now.
Even a warm smile Marcel threw for Alya who could only blush because he was nervous to get a long smile that he did not get from Marcel since their separation.

"Are you really serious about choosing Rudy to be your lover?" Marcel asked in the afternoon towards that night as they were on their way to Alya's house.
"I just live what is my destiny, if God wants me to be with him, yes." Alya sounds good.
"There's something I really want to tell you, it might seem stale, but I still have to say it, I don't want to repeat the same mistakes, like I used to, I played with my own logic and mind, believing you were happy with Ivan and letting you go, but I was wrong" Marcel chuckled, laughing at his own folly in the past.
"Me and Ivan?" Beo Alya with a shriveled forehead.
"Yes, my stupidity used to believe only in my eyes, without asking for an explanation from you, when I saw you taking care of Ivan in the hospital and you guys looked very familiar, I suddenly felt that I was the third wheel to you so I secretly decided to retreat, disappear from you." Urai Marcel recounted what happened at that time, not to seek justification for his wrong attitude, only this he felt he had to tell Alya, even though it was too late.
"Stupid thought where did you get that? I'm calling you and looking for you, you know you've come to make out with your ex-wife" Alya sneered.
"I know, Ivan told me everything when he delivered me his wedding invitations, when I was going to fix everything, it was too late, you were already with Rudy, I didn't blame anyone, I didn't blame anyone, I'm the only guilty person here. Selfish and a loser." he said to himself.
"I-I-I actually had nothing to do with Rudy back then, nor do I know the idea of where Rudy suddenly introduced himself as my lover." Honestly Alya, his speech style was suddenly not sound formal as before.
The ciaittt!
Alya's body was almost thrown forward if only she did not wear a seat belt.
"Oh shiiiiiit! Stupidly I believed Rudy's words back then, does that mean that until now you weren't really dating?" asked Marcel who stepped on the brake pedal suddenly because it was so happy to hear that Alya and Rudy at that time were not lovers like Rudy admitted before.
"I don't know how I interpreted our relationship, she thinks of me as a lover, but I can't accept it yet, but--" nervous Alya's own confusion means her relationship with Rudy at the moment.
"I see, the important thing is that I already know the true story of your relationship with him, I feel calmer after hearing everything from your mouth directly. One thing that is no less important to me to ask you right now is, do you still love me?" Marcel asked with eyes that locked right into Alya's eyes which were also staring at him at this moment.
"Is that still important?" said Alya threw away his gaze first as he recalled the figure of Sita who until now he never knew what kind of relationship Marcel and Sita after their separation.
"Of course, 'cause I wanna know what I feel about you is just clapping one arm, or you still feel the same way." Marcel was now holding Alya's cold hand.
"Well, what about Sita?"
"I'll take you to meet him when I visit them next month, which is clear I can only now say if Sita and I really have nothing to do with it." Firm Marcel.
"Say, do you still love me?" Urged Marcel, impatiently waiting for an answer from Alya's lips which still looked like hesitating to answer his question.
