Chapter 16: Implied Taste

This passionate curiosity I could not bear anymore, as soon as I got off the stage I was looking for Leon.

While wiping my tears I asked.

"Where's leon?".

"She didn't come back from before". Answer Mahes.

I was frustrated by this curiosity, and Leon's attitude made me even more suspicious of him. I put on an annoyed look and Dio approached and questioned me.

"Why? How do you think there's a problem?". Ask Dio.

"Gue go home first". I ran straight to the bus stop to find Leon.

I suddenly cried while running because I was carried away, I really hope Leon is the one who can answer my curiosity about this weirdness in me.

My hand was suddenly pulled by someone as I ran, and when I turned around it turned out to be Leon.

I could not look at him for fear of asking and suddenly my mouth was silenced not knowing where to start carrying drugs.

I now think of him as a psychic who always knew what was going to happen.

"Come with me". Leon Said.

"Your girls first, I'm with the Shire on a little business". Leon said to friends.

"But you're injured?". Zoey asked worriedly.

Suddenly Dio released me from Leon. "Why? What's the matter? I need to know".

"Gue wants to take him for a while, whether I want to finish the Shire". Leon emphasized his tone, then immediately pulled me to follow him.

I followed Leon and then we got on the bus. Inside the bus we sat side by side and I could only lower my head in shame of not being able to control my tears.

There was a snorting sound of Leon watching my behavior.

"Why? Don't laugh! I swear I'm ashamed". Snapping me, I endured the embarrassment by covering my swollen face after crying.

"Try facing here jerk". Leon's hand grabbed my face and wiped my remaining tears, it was strange that I was suddenly nervous.

Then Leon grabbed my face making me surprised and evaded.

"Why do you mindarin me? You have to thank me for reading this". Suddenly Leon talked a lot, not as usual.

As soon as I looked at him again, Leon glued the plaster on my face carefully.

"But done". He seemed satisfied sticking the plaster.

"Lo also just ran away suddenly when I asked on stage". I discussed the incident earlier.

"Ahhhhhhhhh..". He suddenly groaned in pain.

I panicked and rolled up his sleeve looking like his wound had not been treated and it looked very painful on the back of his hand.

"Jeez, this has to be treated right away". I was worried and afraid to see his wound, subconsciously holding his hand.

Leon just smiled, I immediately let go of my hand that was holding his arm.

Arriving at the stop near Leon's house we walked towards his house.

When I was about to enter his house I was a bit hesitant, Leon immediately took me in.

He took me to a room full of paintings, and I began to look carefully at each of them.

"Well cool, do you like pictures? This is all you make?".

I asked while focusing on looking at all the paintings.

Leon remained silent, and before long I found a picture of a stranger making me freeze.

The face of the old man I've been looking for, the one who turned my life into this.

I started crying again, and asked Leon

"You know him? Where is this guy now? I've been looking for him all this time". My toot.

"He's my father, I don't know where he is, I've been looking for him all along". Answer Leon.

"I thought you must be the last person she met before she disappeared". Leon continued.

"What's?". I'm flustered.

"My father, give you the guitar, don't you?". Leon's words surprised me even more.

"Da..Where do you know? Can you too?". My toot.

"I dream about you every night, before I found out my dad was missing, I had a dream when dad gave you that guitar". The answer.

I couldn't believe what he said.

"I have to find your father.The guitar you mean is a guitar similar to yours isn't it?". My answer. Leon was sitting next to me.

"That guitar is different.I replicated the new one according to the picture in my dream, I made it because it was very frustrating to miss him".

Leon was sad.

I took a deep breath, and then I tried to tell her how I was. Then I thought, the cause of my power back is not because of Leon's guitar, because it's just a replica.

I also realized that the one who returned my strength was Leon. But why should he?

Then I started to tell her about my situation.

I smiled a little. "I still can't believe what you're saying, but I'm grateful to be able to tell you all this. Next time, never risk your life again! By the way thank you".

Leon and I got along again and spent the whole day together, singing all day and sitting across the street in the guest room. Because his arm was injured he kept asking me to accompany him to the song he liked.

I regretted having his hands hurt when he was a genius guitarist.

"Great dearest..". I stopped playing my guitar.

I suddenly scolded him.

Leon's face turned grim as before as he walked away from me.

"Why??". I immediately questioned him.

But I didn't continue my question for fear of ruining Leon's mood again. I fixed my seat and started playing the guitar again.

Lalo Leon suddenly opened a new topic.

"How long has he known Dio?", I put the guitar in my hand.

I walked up to him and sat down next to him and prepared to eat a snack, as this would be a long story when it came to Dio.

I also told the beginning of meeting Dio to the memories we went through in my bleak past, and how Dio helped me get out of the difficulties I experienced.

I also told her how her playboy attitude made me resentful but couldn't hate her.

"Keep you don't have the same feeling as him?". Ask Leon.

I was a little surprised to hear that.

Leon leaned his body against the sofa to relax himself.

Leon just shook his head and turned his body away from me, I could hear him yawning making me contract drowsiness.

I also turned my body the other way and started to fall asleep, I feel so tired today because so many things happened.

I didn't realize I was asleep and I woke up when my phone rang, I woke up with a blanket that Leon gave me while I was asleep.

At that moment, when Leon was not there beside me, I did not notice him and immediately grabbed my phone with eyes still sleepy.

"Haloo??". I answered in a heavy voice as I was still sleepy.

"The shire? Where are you not home at this hour?". The sound of my father's voice that makes my sleepiness disappear immediately.

"Dadahhh! Ahh yes, anu, um, I'm in. at home! It was over the gig because it was tired so overslept".

How surprised I was at a loss for words.

"Ah.. would you like to pick me up? Whose house is it?". Dad's question confused me.

"Okay.. okay, it's good that I'm home, bye yah!". I was in a hurry and hung up immediately.

Leon came with a glass of warm tea and gave it to me. "Who?". Ask Leon.

I've been thinking about convincing myself of Leon's offer for a while, I'm not sure if Leon can drive.

After that short conversation, I then finished my tea and prepared to go home.

Leon smiled as if he thought it was nothing, making me even more pityed.

I won't forget today, I'm so relieved to finally be able to open myself up at least to Leon.
