Playing With Destiny

Playing With Destiny
Chapter 2: Trial and Error

It seems that the alley is too narrow for cars to enter.

After thinking enough, we looked for a place to leave the car and decided to walk there.

The location is quite far if reached by foot, but we did not give up and after a few minutes we finally found a small shop that sells custom handmade guitars.

The place was filled with scattered wood fibers that littered the shop yard and there only 1 person who worked, he was the maker and owner of the small shop.

It seemed that the man was so focused on making the guitar frame very carefully, then he realized my presence and father.

The salesman turned to look at us with his sharp, deep eyes, never before had I seen such sharp eyes, the salesman put the handle of the guitar he was working on in his hands that were still not finished.

My father also seemed hesitant but ventured to ask.

"Excuse me sir? Sorry distracting. Look, my son just wants to learn guitar, is there a guitar that is suitable for him to learn sir?". Ask dad.

Without saying much the man immediately entered the small shop, then the father just waved to us to give a code to let in.

I asked my dad, "Can he not talk, Dad?". "Sssst.. don't talk carelessly, it's not polite until he hears" Dad told me to shut up and we followed the seller into the store.

How surprised I was to see its stunning interior and the lighting of the yellow neon lights in every corner gave a beautiful sparkle, I also began to be excited to look at the collection of high-quality guitars that look neatly arranged in the store, but there is only a small collection of guitars in it.

I think it's only natural, because he only works alone in that store. It was so fun, I liked the interior of the store which was very elegant and made us comfortable in it.

The atmosphere is warm and classic so it fits perfectly with the existing guitar displays which all have natural and beautiful colors.

The seller's father showed 2 guitars that were rather small so that they fit my skinny and small body size.

At that time I chose an ivory-colored guitar, my father followed me and wanted to pay for it. "Sir, I took this one, yes, the same bag". My father told the seller. The salesman just nodded and hurried to get the bag.

When I went back around the store, my heart suddenly felt like it was pounding at the sight of such a beautiful guitar that was placed hidden behind a shelf and covered in black cloth.

I slightly opened the cloth and immediately I fell in love with the guitar "wahh, how cool is this well?!"

"Wuahh!" Even my dad was fascinated by the guitar. I immediately fell in love with that guitar, the most beautiful and unique guitar and never been in this world!

"Sir, can I just buy this one?? Can ya? I beg". I immediately asked the seller.

I was very impressed with the details of the guitar that was so beautiful with unique ornaments, the size was also not too big so it was very appropriate to my body size.

After thinking for a while, the salesman finally showed me a smile "No, you take it if you like it". The father finally spoke for the first time, apparently I was wrong.

"How much does it cost, sir?" Ask dad.

"Take it, I'll give it away for free". Answer the father.

I opened my mouth wide in surprise at the surprised salesman's statement.

"Ah, sir don't joke like that. I almost took it seriously". Answer my father who thought it was a joke.

"I'm serious, take it. I heard that your son is studying, I can give this much support.I see he will be a great guitar player later". Answer the father.

"Seriously sir?" I asked with a happy tone.

The father nodded and smiled. It turned out that he was a very good person and was very contrary to the image I had seen before. Not playing anymore, I was so happy to get that guitar for free. I was excited and prancing to hear the good news.

When I pranced, the father suddenly said. "But there are conditions you must meet". I heard the word but it made me silent. "Yes.rat?". My toot. "This guitar is very special, he will guide you. You have to treat this guitar well, and you have to be prepared for the consequences". His words were so complicated and difficult to understand.

"What are the consequences? Ah, you mean the consequences I have to train well right? Of course I will, I will be active". Answer excited. He just smiled without answering me.

I don't imagine good things happening today, I'm usually not a lucky person. Not even once have I won in door prizes or in other games of luck.

I always have a hard time relying on luck, for example in the weather it is always raining a storm when I have an important appointment with people, or when guessing the answer to the test was rarely I found the right answer, and even I used to enter this Junior High because it was thrown with a difference of 0.2.

I remember so much that I actually cried because I was too sure that I would be accepted in my favorite Junior High School based on my grades surpassing the value of last year's acceptance, it's a pity that I wasn't lucky.

However, I was a hard-working kid and although I often heard there were people who said they were lucky for second-guessing and maybe there were people whose lives were very lucky without trying hard, he said, actually, I still have 1 thing that I believe is always my luck and pride, namely father and mother who are always supportive and accompany the disadvantaged child.

Today is the day I will always remember, the day that gave me the impression as if I had won a big draw, and even wondered if all my luck was spent for today? Because if you have to pay for a guitar it must be very expensive considering that the guitar is handmade and specifically designed.

Unfortunately, it turned out that day was also the last time I saw the guitar shop, because not long after I came again the shop had changed owners.

I've come to question my changed cab overnight. Though at first I began to have a good impression with the father of the store owner who was so good with me, but somehow I seemed to get a curse after meeting the father.

Somehow is the father, and actually I want to ask if I was wrong? Is the real consequence I have to bear this ability?.

I was so eager to find out, and went to see the father to find out the answer to the mystery of destiny.
