POWER INFINITE | CHAPTER 01. THE WEAKEST HUNTER IN THE WORLD
50 Years ago, a mysterious gate appeared all over the world. The government also asked researchers and archaeologists to examine the strange thing. Is it a natural phenomenon or something else. Along with the incident, some people experience strange symptoms on his body. Some could fire out, control water, become beasts and even heal people like magic power.

Until the 7th day, a strange wave was detected on a device that was then used to examine the mysterious gate. The waves came from that mysterious gate. At that time the people of the World did not know what would happen to them. The researchers were excited to find out there was a response after 7 days, when they thought about how they would get rewarded for having uncovered a mystery, they ignored the next strange thing.

Something came up from inside the gate. Something as tall as a human, pointed ears and long, straight blonde hair fell down. Perfect figure with an alluring handsome face. A researcher approached and then asked him to get acquainted.
The perfect figure looked at the researcher, not the position that the perfect figure gave but a smile with a terrible expression. The perfect figure then stepped closer making the researcher reflexively step back with a scared face, and the next second a body that only had legs left until the stomach fell. Blood seeped out.
That perfect figure wiped the blood on his lips. “Man's meat apparently isn't that bad.” The perfect figure spoke a strange language, after which a horde of monsters came out from there. There were some who resembled him and some who were like giants as well.
The researchers who were there then shouted and fled after seeing their leader eaten by the perfect figure.
“Time to hunt.”
The monsters kept coming out of the gate, they hunted humans then ate them. Humans who do not want to end up being prey also try to fight. People affected by strange symptoms made use of the oddities on their bodies to fight against those monsters. To be a savior to mankind.
The first war between mankind and monsters, also the exit of monsters from the gate, that day was known as “Disaster Day”. An unknown calamity that has taken many lives and finally the humans managed to win after defeating the Boss who was silent inside the gate which later became known as the Dungeon. The heroes who have strange symptoms then known as “Hunter” they are selected humans who have experienced the resurrection and have the privilege of ordinary humans. The gates continued to appear and this time, the humans were no longer afraid, they conquered the dungeon by hunting monsters and treasures within the dungeon.
It was a short story about the beginning of this world, 50 years had passed. Being a Hunter was everyone's dream, because whatever was inside the dungeon would be bought at a high price by the government. Including a young man named Noah. Since graduating from high school, he has made his debut as a Hunter, which is not his wish, but his circumstances forced him to choose his job as a Hunter.
2 weeks had passed after he was hospitalized for being injured while following the conquest of Dungeon Rank E. He may be a Hunter, but his powers are no different from ordinary humans. He did not have any special strength or skill to support him fighting against monsters. When everyone managed to subdue the Dungeon in good order, only Noah came out injured.
Today was as bright as ever, everyone had gathered to wait for the opening of the gate. After leaving the hospital, Noah finds a job. He joined the Party preparing to conquer the Dungeon being overseen by the Hunter Association. A supreme organization that oversees the Hunter guilds.
“You're coming, Son?” a middle-aged man greeted Noah as he joined the group. Noah tried his best to repay the middle-aged man's hospitality.
“I can't miss this fun thing, after 2 more weeks of idle,” he said with a laugh.
The middle-aged man laughed, “You know, if I were you I would have stopped being a Hunter. The luck of your life is very great, it is very rare for a person with strength equivalent to an ordinary human to survive after recklessly entering a dungeon. I envy you.” The middle-aged man patted Noah on the back with a loud laugh.
Noah just smiled bitterly. Being a Hunter is a dangerous job. He has been living and dying too often. If it wasn't because he needed a lot of money, maybe Noah would've stopped risking his life and looked for a normal job. However, the salary of a regular job was not enough for his daily needs, not to mention he had to pay the hospital fees of his mother and his sister's school. For a Rank E monster crystal, risking his life was not comparable. This one crystal won't be enough. However, defeating top Rank monsters with Rank F power and bare hands was impossible.
“Do you have a reason not to stop?”
Noah laughs awkwardly, “If I stop, I can die of boredom, for not fighting.” It is impossible for him to tell the real reason, he is not one to be pitied.
The healer who healed Noah earlier put on a pouting face, “Then you will fight forever in another world.”
