POWER INFINITE | CHAPTER 03. A Player

Noah opened his eyes. The white ceiling and the hard mattress, was something familiar to him. He soon realized his existence.

It feels like just yesterday he was out of the hospital after 2 weeks in hospital and now he is also in the hospital. Were all the things he passed through just a dream?

Noah sits. Placed his hand on his chest and felt a tremor being transmitted into his palm. His heart is still beating normally.

“I survived?” he asked confusedly. There was something strange, he felt that his body was lighter than usual. However, it is not too much of a mystery, but is it really happening?

Noah does not forget what happened before he lost consciousness. He also recalled the strange voice and happy look of the monster sitting on the throne. The faces of those who betrayed him. He didn't forget all that, but was it really a dream?

“Who are you?” Noah had never met the two men, so he felt uncomfortable answering their questions.

Without answering, the man sitting next to his ward took out a small card and handed it to Noah. Noah took the business card.

“Zean, head of supervision of the Indonesian Hunter Association? Is there something you need me to do?’

Zean nodded. “just go. Tell us what you experienced in Dungeon Rank C. When we heard the report from the Hunter survivors, we immediately checked the Dungeon and when we got there. Noah nodded, he then told her everything except for the odd part of the voice and he became a Player.

The line of words turned into a hologram screen. Noah really had to think a second time now, but his finger pressed on the first message icon. Then the screen switches to the status menu.

It fully displays her information.

When Noah saw her status, how pitiful it was. However, his sense of being on the number 10 meant that he could dodge attacks that might harm him.

Noah ignores that, and decides to go to bed. She has not met her sister today, after checking her cell phone, her sister said she would visit tomorrow after school. Noah decided to go to sleep.

Maybe when he wakes up, everything will return to how it was and there will be no more strange hallucinations.

Time passed, he did nothing but just lie on the hospital ward.

The daily mission time would be over in a matter of seconds, Noah stared at the hologram screen with an uninterested look. “Have it anyway, I have nothing to lose.”
