The soldier realized how great the Shadow name man he was fighting right now, even though he managed to take off one hard kick to get him thrown, but it was not enough to win.

This is clearly a violation for the Soldier because it has hit Edward, but the one responsible is Elissa where she takes Soldier as part of Edward's guarding mission.
