Part 43's

Kim had a short time choosing to be treated at home only. For almost two days she was in the apartment Ken had provided for her. And for almost two days Ken was acting strangely after Kim decided he didn't want to do his only thing - hope Ken makes his woman survive until he's fully prepared for Kim go far away leaving him.

It took Ken so long to prepare himself to accept the heart-wrenching reality. Ken could never be ready if he were to lose the woman he loved so much. After all this time Ken lived. He had never had someone he so desperately wanted to protect until the end of his life. When he has someone he really wants to protect, it turns out that soon the person will leave him alone and go far away so that he can't get back.

"Is there anything you've been thinking about lately?" kim entered Ken's office.

For a while Ken ignored the woman and his hand continued to work pressing the keyboard key of his computer.

"What did you do that you ignored me?" kim returns as he approaches Ken.

"Nothing," Ken instantly turned off his computer as Kim approached him.

Kim frowned while clucking annoyed at Ken's attitude toward him. Anger made Kim just walk away from Ken's office, so the man regretted his attitude. He doesn't know what to do, there's nothing Ken can do because there's too much he's been thinking about in recent days. So without him realizing he was a little less concerned about his female emotions lately.

Feeling indignant at Ken who did nothing when he was angry, by shaking his legs annoyed. The sound of an apartment bell rang Kim walked towards the door and opened the door of the apartment.

"Hi...I Miss you so Much." Saly hugged Kim as the door opened.

Kim's surprise at Saly's sudden arrival is a little strange. Kim smells suspicious of Saly's sudden arrival.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" kim is suspicious.

Saly did not answer and she went straight into the apartment. "Where's your room?" ask Kim Sely.

"There," Kim raised his index finger towards the door of his room. Kim walked up to Saly from behind with a strange look at her best friend. He came without telling her first and also he came without carrying any items. Looks like he just stopped by for a while, Kim thought.

"I'm sleeping with you tonight, yes" Saly lay in bed comfortably without taking off her shoes.

"Alright tonight you sleep with me, but you have to take off your shoes first and again in bed. You slovenly." Kim sat down next to his best friend lying down.

"Okay, I'll take a shower, I'll borrow your T-shirt." After picking up Kim's T-shirt in Saly's closet, she went straight into the bathroom to clean herself up.

Silence filled every corner inside the room where Kim and Saly were lying on the bed. The two of them lay staring at the ceiling with a grayish feel. It felt a little awkward between the two since they had not met for almost a year.

"Kim," Saly started to open the conversation first.

Kim turned his face to face his friend. Saly stared at the ceiling. "What's wrong?" kim looked at his best friend.

"May I speak seriously with you?" Saly turned her eyes to Kim.

"Of course, what do you want to talk seriously about?" kim asked, looking at Saly very seriously.

"Do you remember your promise?" Saly reminded Kim of his uncertain promise Kim still remembers it clearly.

"What promise?" as if Kim forgot while grating his head that did not itch.

"You once promised me that you'd look after Ken for me. But you haven't kept that promise." Saly made Kim at a loss for words. "And now I want you to keep it by being with Ken forever." Kim mute. He stared back at the ceiling for a while before letting out his long breath. There was no answer to the words Saly had said to her and the conversation between the two of them just broke up.

Kim dissolved in his mind so he could not fall asleep. Saly who was beside him was already sound asleep. Why does this woman suddenly want me to keep my promise?. Kim exclaimed as he looked at the sleeping Saly.

It flashed through his mind that there was most likely someone asking Saly to do it. Kim got out of bed and then got out of the bed and out of the room without making a sound. After exiting Kim walked to Ken's room which was across from his room.

Kim walked in the darkness to the door of Ken's room. Without knocking on the door, Kim opened the door and walked over to Ken, who was asleep in his bed. "It turns out he's asleep" Kim sat on the edge of the bed beside Ken lying down. He allowed Ken's messy hair to say. "I know if you sent Saly to me, I'm sorry for worrying you." Kim kissed Ken gently. Then Kim moves on to leave but Ken first pulls Kim down into his arms on the bed.

"But what about Saly in my room" said Kim who was immersed in Ken's arms.

"Just let him in there and you'll just sleep here with me." Ken further tightened his embrace so that Kim's face was immersed in the chest of his field.

Silence for a moment there was only the sound of Ken's breath hitting Kim's head.

Both of them no one could fall asleep, they were immersed in each other's thoughts. Kim knew that Ken wasn't asleep and she also knew that this man had a lot of things he couldn't say.

"May I say something?" kim opened the conversation.

"Do you need my permission to say it." Said Ken who still closed his eyes.

"I know if you asked Saly to persuade me." Kim lifted his head to look at Ken's face above his head.

Did Saly manage to persuade him?. The inner cry of Ken. "I didn't ask him to persuade you. What did he tell you?" Ken opened his eyes as he sat up from his sleep.

"He wants me to take his place to take care of you and not leave you alone." Said Kim who was still lying with his hand Ken.

"What do you need to answer?" asked Ken who kept his curiosity in his heart and acted as if he was just acting ordinary.

"I didn't answer it." Kim closed his eyes and hugged Ken tightly.

"Are you still thinking about the answer?" Ken was still relaxed and ordinary.

"I don't have to think about it because the answer is already there only I choose not to answer."

"Can you tell me what you answered?" Ken lay back and faced his face in front of Kim's face.

"Of course I can't replace him to take care of you." Kim smiled wryly.

"Why can't it?" Ken keeps asking questions that make Kim more open to what he thinks.

"Because I can't fulfill what Saly wants for me. I really don't want to give you any hope that I can't possibly fulfill later." Kim Lirih.

"You can," Ken confirmed his voice.

"No way," Kim brushed off Ken's words.

"You can if you want to do the treatment I talked to you about." Ken says the way out of Kim's problem.

"I didn't say I didn't want to do it" said Kim, who declined.

Ken silent. She didn't know what else to do so that she would change her decision. "Do you really want to leave me?" ken's hoarse voice broke the silence between the two of them.
