"Thank God we can get through this, Nirma." Jenny went into the villa. The woman sat on the long sofa. And so is Nirma.
"I'm so tired. Doctor Rico was lucky to be willing to bring me here. Imagine if he didn't want to. The practice schedule has just been completed. But, because of you he was willing to take me to this place," explained Nirma. "He was a good friend. You're lucky to know him. Where in the world are people who want to be bothered by their own friends. No more pay!"
Silent breezed. Jenny knew that she had already troubled Nirma and Rico a lot. The woman felt more guilty. Then, Jenny looked towards Nirma who closed her eyes. Nirma was so exhausted.
"Nir, rest in yuk's room. It's not good to sleep here" Jenny said. He didn't want to until Nirma was sick. Plus, the woman's lips look very pale.
Nirma shook her head. He refuses Jenny's invitation to move. "I'm tired, Jen. Please let me stay here. Just sec. The air here is very cold. The sofa is also soft and comfortable."
The pregnant woman was actually looking for a place that was more comfortable for her. That is, lay yourself on a long sofa. Nirma still closed her eyes. He felt his body ache from the long journey. Luckily, Rico understands Nirma's condition so he can manage his car's speed as he should.
"What a pity, Nirma. Because of me he became like this. I thought having a child was so troublesome. But, I realized after Kak Ali apparently dreamed of having many children. It felt like my world was destroyed when I found out," Jenny murmured inwardly. "Basic stupid! Why am I so stupid. What has entered my mind until I lift up the only womb I have? But, it can't be regretted anymore. Now I have the consequences. I never felt the peace of life again after deciding to have children."
Finally Jenny let Nirma rest. The woman chose to go around the place. Occasionally, Jenny runs into the waiter who lives in the house. They're cleaning up. Some were busy cooking dinner in the kitchen.
"Aish, I can't bear to see Nirma like that. His face was very pale. Moreover, he also could not be cheerful like before. I feel like I'm the worst woman" Jenny said, wiping her pregnancy pillow. "Is pregnancy that painful? It feels like no matter how much money I give Nirma has not been worth the sacrifice Nirma gave me. She lost her virginity. He lost his freedom. Even later he also lost the child he was carrying because the child will be mine and also Kak Ali."
Jenny continued walking while muttering to herself.
"This fake pregnancy, it made me almost desperate. But I have to be strong. For the sake of Kak Ali and also papa, mama." Jenny made a soft bow.
Jenny breathed. He's come this far. The woman was very hopeful that she would be fine until Nirma gave birth. Same with Nirma.
From a distance, Nirma looked towards Jenny with a flat gaze. I don't know what Nirma was thinking, but the woman just fell silent. Now Nirma chose to play her phone.
"Nir," call Jenny.
"You've eaten yet?" ask Jenny.
Nirma raised his head. The woman showed a dislike facial expression. Jenny stopped her footsteps. His smile faded as he looked at Nirma who wore a strange expression.
"How can I eat? Every time I want to eat, I don't taste. Only certain foods I can eat. But take it easy, I'm still drinking milk to keep this baby healthy." Nirma touched her stomach which began to look bloated.
Jenny walked quickly to approach Nirma. The woman was sitting on the sofa where Nirma was also sitting. Jenny clasped Nirma's hands together. Making Nirma frown.
"I'm sorry, Nir. Since you had to conceive my son, you experienced something like this. Really, I'm so grateful that you're ready to conceive my son. I don't know what else to do if you're not by my side" Jenny said.
"Why?" Nirma was worried.
...***...
The night came back. Jenny and Nirma were already at the dinner table. Some waiters cook a variety of foods that become Nirma's favorite food. But when it was at the dinner table, Nirma's expression did not match what Jenny expected.
Nirma looked at the food before him with an excited face. The woman did not want to put the delicious food in her mouth. Nirma asked for her favorite kebab. But Jenny did not want to grant it because Nirma had eaten kebabs too often and it was not good for the health of the baby in the womb Nirma.
"Even when I haven't eaten it, I already feel nauseous and this makes me want to vomit."
Nirma keeps food nearby so that the aroma is not clearly smelled. Jenny chewed on the food in her mouth while looking at Jenny with a frustrated face. The woman had run out of ways to persuade Nirma to eat. He gulped down some water and then regulated his breathing.
"Little bit. At least eat even if only two spoons. The boy needs food. He'll be skinny if you don't eat." Jenny again brought closer the plate that had been kept away by Nirma.
"But I don't want to eat food like this, Jen. Please don't force me! All this food you say is delicious, only bitter when it's in my mouth. You won't be able to feel it. You don't know how I suffer when I want to eat. My stomach is hungry but my mouth is refusing."
Jenny immediately fell silent at Nirma's words. The longer the woman's nature becomes more different. But Jenny did not want to be angry. He also did not want to blame Nirma. She knew that maybe Nirma was acting like this because of the baby in her womb. After the child is born, Jenny is convinced that Nirma will turn into the Nirma she once knew.
"I'm sorry." Jenny also had no appetite anymore. The woman looked at the food in front of her and daydreamed.
"What did I just say? Is Jenny hurt? Why is my mouth so sharp now!" mummy Nirma. The woman felt guilty for yelling at Jenny. He immediately held Jenny's hand and looked at the woman. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have scolded you like that. Sorry yes."
Jenny nodded. "I'm sorry Nir."
Nirma. She didn't know exactly what Jenny was sorry for. Do not-don't Jenny regret for being friends with Nirma and entrusting the child in her womb.
"Jen, don't be like this. Don't cry."
Nirma is panicking. The woman immediately rubbed Jenny's cheek so that the tears that dripped did not wet Jenny's pretty face.
"I want time to turn back. I will not lift this womb, Nir. I will learn to love children. I'm gonna try to be a good mother."
"Sst." Nirma immediately pulled Jenny and hugged her. "Don't regret it. What happens let it happen. Make it a lesson so you can be a better person. Because of this problem you start to open your heart to little children. No longer hated him and looked at him as a terrifying monster."
Jenny nodded. The woman doesn't know what to say anymore. He tried to calm himself back down and still remained in Nirma's arms.
"It turns out everyone has their own problems. I've sinned because I've always looked at Jenny as a woman who never had a problem" Nirma murmured in her heart.
