Jennie and Ali's meeting didn't stop there. They meet almost every week. After exchanging phone numbers, Jenny and Ali were increasingly communicating. They both fit together. There are always topics they can talk about when they are together.
Today Ali invited Jenny to lunch at a fancy restaurant. Jenny who had been since the first time she met Ali was in love, was very happy. The woman prepared herself as best she could to attract Ali.
"I'm curious. How handsome is the man named Ali," said Nirmala while looking at Jenny who had been busy herself.
"He's not very handsome. I mean he can't be said to be the handsome guy in this world because I've always met a guy who's a lot more handsome than him. But he is kind and romantic. I like a guy like that. He's not stingy either. He wants to buy me whatever I want" Jenny said. He was happy when he was proud of Ali.
Nirma nodded before looking at Jenny again. "You like it?"
Jenny nodded quickly. "But baby. To this day he has not expressed love to me. As a woman, I can't say it first. I also have self-esteem" Jenny said. The woman looked at her face again in front of the mirror and then polished the makeup until it was done.
"I think he loves you too. Which man is willing to waste his money and the time he has only for a woman if he does not love the woman" Nirma said with confidence.
"I hope what you say is true" Jenny replied with a smile. "I also don't want my love to clap one hand."
Nirma's face suddenly looked sad. The woman got out of bed and approached Jenny. "There's actually something I want to tell you. But I'm afraid you're angry." Her face became more serious, leaving Jenny confused.
"Is that important? Why is your face like that?" Jenny scrunched her forehead looking at Nirma's sad face from the mirror. The woman immediately got up from the chair and looked at Nirma directly.
"So I'm not actually from a rich kid. I am just a woman who comes from a simple family. The apartment I have been living in is my employer's apartment. I was in charge of cleaning that apartment while my employer was overseas. Forgive me for lying to you all this time. From the beginning I wanted to tell you what really happened. But I'm afraid of losing you. I am comfortable being friends with you. Today the employer who paid me has gone home. I can't stay in that apartment anymore. I know after hearing this you must hate me so much and no longer want to think of me as-"
Nirma did not finish her sentence because Jenny suddenly hugged her tightly. "Do you think I'm that stupid? I knew it from the beginning. But I never disputed your identity. I also feel comfortable and happy to be around you. Such a problem will not be an obstacle for us to be friends. For what has a friend who comes from the family to be, if his nature is not commendable. I need a friend who can understand me, not a friend who can beat my wealth.
Nirma immediately took off Jenny's embrace and looked at the woman with a look of disbelief. "Are you serious about what you're saying? You still want to be friends with me even though you know I'm just a poor woman?" ask Nirma to go back to make sure.
"Yes. That time I accidentally saw you meet an old woman on the side of the road. That woman seems to love you very much. At first I thought it was a maid who would work in your apartment. I came down to greet you. But I was so shocked when you called that woman mother. Since then I know who you really are. But I don't want to dispute it. Because a sincere friendship won't look at status."
This time it was Nirma who hugged Jenny because she was too happy. "Thank you Jenny. Thank you you are a very good woman" Nirma said with a happy smile.
"Let me go because I have to go see Kak Ali."
Nirma laughed at Jenny's behavior. "Are you going home?"
"Of course I'll go home. What do I want to do with him? Oh yeah, can't you stay in that apartment anymore? Now stay in this apartment to keep me company." Jenny walked up to her bag on the table. "You can do anything in this apartment. Think of it as your own apartment" Jenny said again before leaving the apartment. Nirma just smiled at him.
"I feel lucky to have met a woman like Jenny. I hope someday I can repay her kindness," Nirma murmured inwardly.
