Rannie

Rannie
Don't Go too Far

All days must pass, as well as the story of hidden or unrequited love....

The horse, which Ranni and Anndin were riding, was exhausted. They had gone through a long journey without stopping at any stopover. Anndin can't wait to introduce Ranni to the world of his dreams. From far away there was a beautiful little village, and the journey was coming to an end.

The sun began to rise, its majestic throne began to dazzle. When they reached the village gate, Anndin stopped his horse for a moment. He held onto Ranni's hand that kept coiling around his waist, he was sound asleep on Anndin's sturdy shoulder.

"Ran, we've arrived" she held Ranni's hand gently.

Ranni slowly opened her eyes and scanned her surroundings.

"This is where you live?" he said while cleaning up the dirt on his eyes.

"Yes, this is a place I really want to show you" Anndin replied.

"It must be the place you miss the most when you leave her" he smiled sincerely.

"I've never missed anything but being with you" she's acting romantically.

"Hahahhaha, what? I didn't hear what you said just now, repeat it again!!" he screamed in Anndin's ear.

Anndin smiled and pulled his horse back. He was surprised at Ranni's reaction. The girl had already returned to her original form, a jolly beautiful girl with a bunch of flowers.

"Why are you quiet? Let's repeat!!!" he whines at Anndin.

Hahahahahahas...

Anndin just laughed and continued to spur his horse into the village.

Everyone looked towards them, Ranni's familiar face became the center of attention of everyone in the village.

"Why is everyone looking at me?" he whispered in Anndin's ear.

"They're watching me, you're not so pretty to beat my good looks" Anndin answered, turning his question.

"I'm serious!!!" ranni replied while pinching Anndin.

"I'm also serious, everyone in this village is heartbroken to see a beautiful woman with me" she smiled and endured the pain of Ranni pinching her.

Ranni stopped asking because Anndin kept switching all her questions....

Anndin stopped his horse right in a mansion. People around are still watching them.

"Let's go in!" he pulled Ranni's hand to enter the house.

"This is your house?" he spoke while whispering.

Anndin just nodded, apparently Ranni had not been able to conquer it. His mood kept changing. He is a very cold person.

Before entering the house, Ranni turned to the crowd of people who kept seeing her earlier. His eyes were fixed on a girl who kept looking at him with a cynical look. He was about to ask Anndin that but then he chose to be quiet as if now was not the time to ask that.

The servants immediately welcomed their arrival, they were bowed and cautious.

Then a woman came and greeted them.

"Hai Ranni, meet Taniah her sister Anndin" she extended her hand with a smile.

"Hi" replied Ranni while receiving the woman's helping hand.

Anndin immediately pulled Ranni's hand violently, like he was not happy to see her interact with his brother.

"Bi...., is Ranni's room ready?" Anndin called one of his servants.

"Yes, sir" the woman replied in a hurry, she came to meet Anndin while running.

"Let's non, your room is right here" the woman politely invited Ranni.

"Let me drive him" Anndin argued.

"Okay sir" the woman replied while bowed.

Ranni did not comment anything, she just enjoyed the tense atmosphere.

As they climbed the stairs of the house, Ranni asked Anndin.

"Where did your brother know my name?" tanyanya slow.

"Never talk to her, let alone touch her" she replied.

"This is your room, don't ever come out without my permission" he said in a cold tone while giving a small key.

"How do I ask permission if I want to get out?" tanyakanya.

"Do you remember the woman who ran?" he asked back.

"Yes" answered Ranni briefly.

"Say that woman if you want to get out, she'll keep an eye on you here. If you need anything, ask him too" Anndin explained briefly as he passed away leaving her.

Ranni closed her bedroom door, she observed her surroundings looking at every corner of the room then slammed her body on the mattress.

"Will he lock me up like Rapunzel?" Ranni mutters.

He got up from his bed and headed to the window, he opened the window letting the outside wind in with him.

"Now I'm in which part of the world? Have I gone too far?" he muttered again and returned to his bed.

He closed his eyes, and a glimpse of Afgar, his father, and his mother flashed through his mind. Maybe it's a feeling of longing but this place is very beautiful and pleasant. That longing won't bring him back home. This is the land of dreams that will realize his dreams, the presence of Anndin at his side is enough for Ranni.

Tok.dok...

Hearing someone knock on the door of his room, Ranni got up and was about to open it. When the door was opened he saw Taniah standing right in front of the door, Ranni was confused as to how she should react. He glanced at the woman next to Taniah, the woman was the servant whom Anndin had assigned to guard and watch over her. The waiter nodded slowly at Ranni signaling that nothing would happen.

"I brought you a gift" she gave Ranni a red gift.

Ranni accepted it without speaking anything.

"Anndin must have forbidden you to speak or touch me, he was very careful. You stupid boy!!!" she said while playing the end of her hair.

Ranni remained silent and Taniah began to get upset.

"You are both stupid, your existence here will only break down dimensions and mess with time. You rotten flower!!" he spat on the floor while turning his body.

Tak.tak.tak..

The sound of Taniah's glass shoes sounded as if spreading a curse, Ranni was silent in front of the door of her room. Taniah suddenly turned around again..

"Bie... Take him down for a bit for dinner, Dad and my mom want to meet him" he spoke in an arrogant tone.

"But non.." replied the publisher.

"Ohhhh... You'd rather obey Anndin and ignore your master's orders?" Taniah approached him with an angry look.

"No non" replied the waiter.

"So......?" Taniah leaned his face on the waiter.

"Well non, I'll take her there for a while" the waiter replied with a tremble.

Haha...

Taniah turned and left them. The sound of his glass shoes sounded echoes and creepy...

Ranni closed her room and leaned her body against the door.

What does Taniah mean?

He was silent in his long daydream, this world was not his world. Maybe he'll bring disaster.

He opened the gift given by Taniah earlier and was very surprised to see the contents, in the gift there was a photo and it was his photo with Anndin.

When did he meet Anndin?

Wasn't this the first time she had met Anndin other than in her dreams or fantasies?

He turned the photo around looking for answers and he found a sentence written in red ink.

I'll find you any way and won't let you guys be together.

He was silent for a moment after seeing the writing, Taniah so hated him that he threatened him with the writing he gave in the form of a gift. He should avoid it....

The cruel time they dared to challenge.

Ranni, Anndin, you're in trouble.....
