Chapter 153: The Vetera

After Razel managed to open the secret door, he had to pass through the hallway in front of him with many ragged black thin curtains. The hallway is like a cave with some terrible symbols and faces.

Behind the curtain was a dark room surrounded by extinguished torches, and then a shocked razel as a thick book gave off slightly striking auras in the darkness, and little voices saying "Open! Openup! Open it!" from inside there.

At first Razel was really scared, but he ventured to move forward slowly and tried to touch the book, but he was struck again by an iron helmet that had fallen from his hanger. Razel immediately turned to look at the demon with a completely black face.

When the demon opened his eyes, Razel realized that something was threatening his life. The flaming yellow eyes that were staring at him so sharply, with just the blink of Razel's eyes, the demon suddenly felt right in front of him and opened its mouth so wide, like a Valak smile from The Nun movie. Razel who was screaming loudly almost fell and accidentally touched the red book before.

The demon flew into the wall and lit all the torches that surrounded the room. When the room was illuminated by the light from several points, Razel could clearly see the terrible things around him. The resurgent demon was like an undead then immediately bent to its knees and lowered its head. Every movement after rising up is like broken bones.

After the demon finished his welcome while standing back with a firm tone that raised both his hands to the sky along with the thunder followed like a voice that would split the heaven and earth.

"K-K-You .. you .. a-a-ku .. worship who?" Haumea said with trembling.

"The Great Goddess Scarlet ... Haumea Scarlet's." Answer Satare.

"Your name is Satare, right?" Haumea asked again with trembling hands and shivering teeth.

"That's right, and it seems that you know my miss~ is Satare which means abbreviation of Scarlet Scripture, the timeless book as well as the scarlet scripture. My self is the embodiment of all the existing scarlet books, however, in fact we are all just imitations for humans and other living things. Because the true Satare, which is the original book is really in the beautiful Vebernhae." Satare.

"You're saying that I changed my faith? Where could that possibly happen!The devil is a dirty evil creature!! Who wants to worship the devil?!" Razel.

"Miss, you just got in and really intend to get out? You think you can? Your words just now were truly an insult to our God, the punishment you deserve is likely to pluck out both of your may eyes, and sew that sinful mouth up to never be able to open again."

Said Satare as she walked slowly towards Razel.

"What?!?!"

Razel retreated quickly as the sword came at him and smashed some candles on the altar. But somehow Razel ran around while carrying his book. He actually ran as fast as he could to get out of the room and close the door.

He thought that Satare was really a slightly sluggish demon, yet he was wrong. When he returned to his house and opened the door of his room, a sharp sword blade again eroded his arm from behind and made a huge scratch from the invisible result of the slash, behind him was truly present the monstrous figure of Satare.

Razel then entered again running into the room to close the door with a key and take cover on his bed, hoping for a miraculous help to come to him. But no one can help him when Satare comes again as fast as the blink of an eye before him with the sword position pointing towards the sky that is willing to split Razel.

As the sword began to swing downwards, Razel shouted out loud in complete expectation and said "Though me!" made Satare stop moving her hand.

Moments later, her mother and two other servants came to Razel's room. The waiter, who heard Razel's screams, rushed to Razel's mother to let her know and saw Razel's condition in her room.

At that time, his mother saw Razel's figure that was fine under the blanket, her feelings were immediately calm, Razel who at that time said that she was surprised because a cockroach was suddenly in her room. But the cockroach that came out of the room was just an illusion, as was Razel talking to her mother.

Satare created an illusion in an instant that would only last for a mere quintuple of minutes. If more than ten minutes his mother does not leave him, then all will be over and Satare is forced to have to kill everyone in this house.

All changed only because Razel surrendered without help and was forced to say a sentence to be pardoned, so Satare did not kill him. The next day, even starting from that night, Razel had made a pact with Satare which was the embodiment of the red devil book.

And every day, Satare never again showed his form, except for his voice that is able to interact with Razel from the book. Making Razel read the book every day slowly. In the more distant pages, Razel began to be tempted and thought if it became the true people of Haumea who would someday be rewarded for being immortal humans. Haumean devotees are said to come from all over the world where when they die, their existence will be brought to Vetera.

It is believed that the grant is absolute and cannot be canceled, when the three requests have been granted, then he will not be able to ask for one more request. Although it has not been proven that the promise really exists, but Razel still follows all the teachings and rules of the scarlet book.

Hoping that he would do anything to worship Haumea, the day that the future will come when he dies and is brought to Vetera and gets his life's requests as promised by the book of Scarlet. In the book of scarlet, or even satare which reads when Razel pronounces his sentence, it is written that Haumea is declared as the ruler of the devil Almighty.

Standing outside all the hierarchies of the demon world, keeping the worlds like pyramids inside a scarlet cube that can be held as easily as grasping an apple.
