Red Yarn
Chapter 5's

Triash awoke from his sleep for longer than usual on holidays. He sat on his bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to measure time by staring at his smartphone screen.

It's finally time to rest!" he said to himself with a smile. He was not used to having free time, usually he had to do various schoolwork.

"I started from the game first, I kept reading books, I kept resting. I want to buy chips too! yesterday was so good! I'll buy it again!" said Triash with a big smile.

He got up from his bed and started getting ready for a good day. He happily prepared his lunch, and started wearing his gym clothes before he started playing his game.

He heard a knock on his door. When he opened the door, his father greeted him and told him that they were going to visit his grandmother. Triash's expression brightened at the thought of spending time with his grandmother.

When they finally arrive at their destination, Triash runs inside to hug his grandmother. They spent a long afternoon chatting and telling stories, Triash laughing and chatting with his beloved grandmother. It was a perfect day, filled with love and happiness.

After Triash spent some quality time with his grandmother, he decided to buy snacks from the local minimarket. As he walked down the hallway, he saw a large selection of chips and crackers, all calling him with a savory aroma.

After a moment of careful thought, he picked out a bag of chips of his favorite brand, the perfect salty snack to pair with his cup of tea. Satisfied with her choice, she walked over to the cashier and made a purchase, feeling happier than ever with her delicious treat.

As he exited the minimarket, he saw a group of boys walking towards the minimarket. They looked rough and tough, and the Triash immediately sensed danger. He quickly went and brought his snacks and ran out of the store, trying to get away from the group as far as possible.

As she ran, she could hear the boys calling her, but she did not turn around. He kept running, trying to disappear from them on the crowded street. His heart was pounding and his hands were trembling. He listened to the signs of pursuit, but after a few minutes, everything became quiet.

He turned around and looked back to make sure the boy did not follow him. She was so focused on checking behind him that she did not see the person in front of her, and she accidentally bumped into one of them.

"Geez, I'm so sorry!" Shouted Triash, feeling uneasy about having dropped that person. The person got up, staring at Triash with a mixture of anger and confusion.

"Hey, what's your problem!?" ask them, rubbing their shoulders where they hit.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you" said Triash, feeling ashamed and guilty. He offered to help the person, but he brushed it off and left, muttering to himself.

Triash felt bad about the meeting and couldn't stop thinking about it when he came home. He decided to be more careful and attentive in the future, so he would not hurt anyone again by accident.

Triash gets ready for school the next day. She put on her uniform and put on makeup, wanting to look her best for her friend. He picked up his bag, filled everything he needed for the day, and headed out the door.

On the way to school, Triash realizes that he has left his lunch at home. He felt a hint of panic appear within him, wondering if he could get through the day without it. He considered stopping at the grocery store on his way to school, but decided not to, not wanting to risk being late.

Instead, he decided to get through the day with what was in his bag. He had some snacks and drinks, and he wished it was enough to make it through the school day.

When she finally arrived at school, it was a crazy home of activity. Students rushed to go to their classes, teachers rushed to get ready for their lessons, and the corridors were filled with sounds of chatter and laughter. Triash quickly walked to his locker, lowered his bag, and walked to his class.

As they work on the project, Triash finds himself increasingly distracted by the friendly couple next door. He tried to focus on his task, but he could not help but feel his annoyance whenever he saw them whispering to each other or exchanging timid glances in front of him.

Despite the glitches, Triash and his group successfully completed the task on time and handed him a solid job. As the bell rang, signaling the end of the class, Triash gathered his belongings and walked out of the room.

Then Adipta walked towards Triash and offered to drive him home. Triash, who felt tired after a day of study and group work, accepted the invitation with gratitude.

While walking, Adipta and Triash chat about their day, their class, and their friends. Adipta makes Triash laugh with his silly jokes.

When they arrived at Triash's house, he invited Adipta inside for tea. As they sat on the sofa, Adipta asked if he had any plans for the night. Triash thought for a moment, trying to hide the fact that his night plan was to sit at home and watch TV.

Adipta said goodbye and went home, Triash could not help feeling happy and satisfied. He's having fun with Adipta today.

As she lay in bed that night, trying to fall asleep, her phone rang with a phone call from her father. He hesitated for a moment before replying, knowing that he rarely called her late at night.

"Hello Dad?" she answered gently, trying to keep her voice from disturbing the rest of the family.

"Yes, Triash? I want to talk to you about something important." His father's voice sounded solemn, and Triash felt a hint of worry.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?" triash asked, sitting on the bed and trying to prepare for whatever his father said.

"Everything is fine" answered his father. "But I need to tell you something I've been hiding from you all along."

"What's up, Dad?" triash asked, a feeling of drowning growing in his stomach.

"Well, honey, the truth is your mother left us a long time ago. And I've started dating other people."

Triash felt like the ground had just slipped from underneath him. Has his father seen anyone else? How long has he kept this from her? And why would he tell her now, late at night?

He tried to keep his voice stable as he replied. "Dad, I don't understand. Why are you telling me now? And who's that woman?"

"His name is Ayse, and he's a great man" his father said. He tried to sound convincing, but Triash could hear the nervousness in his voice.

"I don't know, but I'm not ready for this, dad" said Triash, trying to control his emotions. But it was too much, and she found herself crying softly.

"Darling, I know this is hard to accept. But I promise you, Ayse is a good person, and I think you'll get along well with him. I just want to make sure you hear it from me first, and not from anyone else."

Triash wiped his eyes and tried to take a deep breath. He didn't know what to say or how he felt. But one thing is for sure, he's not ready for this.
