Chapter 1058: Speculation
With eyes fixated on the surveillance screen, Duanmu Lin observed it for a while and discovered that the number of hordes was indeed reduced from over 4,000 demon beasts before. Many of them were severely injured and seemed to have just gone through the battle.
“Count the number of demonic beasts in this surveillance screen immediately!”
He had a vague guess in his mind, yet his conjecture made him feel afraid. Therefore, he was not sure if his guess was accurate.
Soon after, some members of the agency started counting the number of demonic beasts on the surveillance screens. After the calculations, they found the number to be over 3,280.
“More than 900 of them have already left?”
Duanmu Lin's expression turned strange, adding to his suspicion that his guess was on target. He took the communicator to call Tang Xiu, but then hesitated. He was afraid that Tang Xiu was in the terrible strait right now and his exclamation would make things worse.
Suddenly, the agency member frowned and murmured, “Lord. Previous surveillance showed that there were hundreds of demonic beasts of bird species. Why did they suddenly disappear? But now ... there's a lot of feathers and blood ... on the ground? ”

His answer made Duanmu Lin feel relieved. He nodded and said, “Tang Xiu hasn't returned yet. There should be something bothering him in the mountains. Take your time to recuperate. You can enter the mountain to help them when you are already completely healed. ”
“Negative.” Jin Shi shook his head and said, “I just received a notification from Sect Master that they are out of the hinterland and will be here soon. Director Duanmu, rest assured. We believe in the abilities of our Sect Master. ”

Quickly, over ten severely injured people were placed on the stretcher, while the Tang Sect members who could still move hurriedly followed the team.
On the way back, Duanmu Lin's eyes were fixed on Tang Xiu. After lasting about a minute, he finally was unable to resist his urge to ask, “Tang Xiu, there is one thing I want to ask you, and I hope you can answer it seriously.
