Return From The Immortal World
Chapter 7: Kicked out of class

Tang Xiu placed his eyes on his study table as well, just the exam papers alone were stacked 2 feet high and the number of reference books was even more.

It wasn't just Tang Xiu's desk that was like that, at a glance, all the tables in the class were like that. If there was indeed a need to point out one difference, then all the books and exam papers that Tang Xiu had on his desk looked new and neatly arranged, while his classmate's desk had books and exam papers piled into disarray, it looked like a disaster.

Tang Xiu randomly took out a few test sheets to look at it and found out that he was unable to understand most of the questions. The amount of fresh red zeros on his test paper even made his face flushed red.

“It looks like I have to solve the problem with my studies first before resolving the problem with my cultivation technique, I, or else I'll really be expelled from school for grades and mom I'll definitely be sad.” Tang Xiu whispered to himself gently before taking out a book from his desk and seriously reading it.

After her soul was damaged, even though Tang Xiu's intelligence on Earth was damaged, but her attitude towards her studies was very appropriate. All of his subjects from year 1 to year 3 were neatly arranged under his desk and therefore Tang Xiu did not need to waste his time and effort gathering study materials.

Since he came from a single-parent family, Tang Xiu was very obedient and studious. From elementary school to high school, Tang Xiu had always been a dictator in academic results. He was ranked first in the entire group for his entrance exam to Star City Secondary School (Grade 1), and then in year 1, Tang Xiu also dominated the entire group with a first rank in his final year examination.

But because of a car accident in the first semester of school in year 2, tang Xiu's soul was damaged and this caused his memory and comprehension skills to drop drastically and would always lose focus randomly over time. No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to catch up with the speed in class, so the results continued to drop until he became the last in his group.

If Tang Xiu wanted to improve his results, he would not only have to self-study content from years 2 and 3 but also relearn all content before year 2. If it was Tang Xiu before, it would be impossible to take back all the glory that should have belonged to him using three months, but this would not be a problem for the current Tang Xiu.

“Bos, do not bother to waste your efforts, we brothers are just not suitable to learn, there will be no use as hard as we try.” Tang Xiu only flipped a few pages of his book before he felt a hand over his shoulder and a low voice echoing beside his ear.

The one who spoke was his ChuLing Yuan tablemate. He still thought that Tang Xiu was influenced by Hu QiuSheng's words and couldn't help himself from looking through his study materials, so he wanted to comfort him.

Yuan ChuLing was one of Tang Xiu's best friends who was hard to come by and considered her brother.

Yuan ChuLing's results were also very outstanding when he first entered the school. But during the second half of his tenure in year 1, his parents divorced and after that, Yuan ChuLing began frantically skipping classes, fighting, getting into relationships, and even skipping exams. From an outstanding exemplary student, he became a bad student who was hated by the teachers in a short period of time.

Two years had passed and although Yuan ChuLing calmly accepted the fact that her parents had divorced, she said, but the losses inflicted by his parents were unsaved and his enthusiasm for his studies was also irreversible.

“Fatty, let's learn it right, or else ....” Tang Xiu stopped his sentence halfway and was unable to continue. The reason why he was willing to go back to school to study was to fulfill his mother's wishes, but Yuan ChuLing hated her parents and would do anything that would make her parents feel miserable.

“Ai, forget it, our situation is different, you better study hard and not disappoint your mother's expectations. For Me it will always be like this for the rest of my life. ” Seeing that Tang Xiu had stopped talking any further, the smile on Yuan ChuLing's face gradually disappeared as she became downcast.

“Fats, because you still insist on coming to school for lessons on time every day then this says that deep down you still have a passion for learning. You only did this because you wanted your mother and father to feel miserable and regretful, that's why you gave up on yourself, am I right? “Tang Xiu looked at Yuan ChuLing as he asked.

After hearing Tang Xiu's words, Yuan ChuLing's expression changed and avoided Tang Xiu's gaze with guilt.

“Fatty, although I don't know why your parents decided to divorce, but over these two years I've seen how much they care about you, they are not divorced because they do not love you anymore but because they feel that they are not fit to be together. If you still continue to give in to yourself, you will suffer and your parents will also be in pain, so why should it be like this? “Seeing Yuan ChuLing listen to him properly, Tang Xiu took the opportunity to advise him .

If a group of experts from the Eternal World saw how earnestly Tang Xiu gave a suggestion to mortal ants to reflect, then their jaws would definitely fall to the floor.

This was because Tang Xiu in the Eternal World was too arrogant. Even for her lover and best friends, she did not bother talking to them, and she was even colder towards strangers.

It was only because Yuan ChuLing had stepped forward to speak for him at the most critical moment that made Tang Xiu feel touched and caused Tang Xiu to acknowledge and accept this friend of his.

Tang Xiu had nothing on his side, his family was so poor that he had trouble with his family's expenses, he even had trouble raising enough money for his school fees, the results were terrible and even suspected of being mentally disabled. Even under all these circumstances Yuan ChuLing was still willing to help and protect her, so this only proved that Yuan ChuLing really treated Tang Xiu as a friend.

“I also realize that my parents have a hard time about why they divorced, but I still can't handle it.” Yuan ChuLing had a sad expression as she explained after remaining silent for a while.

“Ai, don't talk about my problem. Earlier Tiger Hu said that he wanted to kick you out of this class or get you out of school, but why do I feel like you are not worried about this at all? “Yuan ChuLing didn't want to continue talking about the matter regarding her parents' divorce, so she simply changed the subject.

“Why do I feel that you have become someone else today?” Listening to Tang Xiu's reply, Yuan ChuLing almost thought that her hearing was problematic, after which, she was unable to help but measure Tang Xiu from head to toe.

Slowly, Yuan ChuLing's eyes began to get brighter as her face revealed an excited expression and asked nervously, “mikmu ....... yours .......

“That's right, my mind has returned to normal, thank you for always taking care of me for the past two years. As a way to express My gratitude, I've decided to let you sit on the throne to be the last in the class. “Seeing the sincere smile of joy on Yuan ChuLing's face, Tang Xiu felt extremely warm in his heart as he punched his fist into Yuan ChuLing's chest with a faint smile on his face.

“Sialan ..... I'm just too happy now, let's go, I'll treat you to a beer, we need to celebrate.” After she got confirmation of her suspicions, Yuan ChuLing was overjoyed and grabbed onto Tang Xiu's arm as she pulled Tang Xiu to the classroom exit, she said, ignoring the taunts behind Tang Xiu's back and also the clear lesson bell that rang.

Tang Xiu had the intention to fight but could do anything because Yuan ChuLing's stature was three times greater than hers. Yuan ChuLing's strength was not something that Tang Xiu could resist at the moment.

“You both stop at your destination, it's time for lessons so go back to your seat.” Tang Xiu and Yuan Chu Ling were stopped by Hu QiuSheng just as they reached the exit.

Yuan ChuLing obviously did not expect Hu QiuSheng to return after leaving. She couldn't help but hold back for a moment as she let go of Tang Xiu's arm in haste and looked at Tang Xiu with an apologetic expression.

One should know that although Tang Xiu's results were not satisfactory in the past year plus, but his discipline in school was well known. He had never been absent from any class or played truant, and there had never even been an incident of him being late to class before. But now, he was dragged by Yuan ChuLing to pass through the classroom, so Yuan ChuLing would naturally feel bad about it.

“Teacher, Tang Xiu is not feeling well, so I want to accompany him to the ailing bay, can I take a half-hour leave from You?” Yuan ChuLing immediately came up with nonsense as an excuse.

Hearing that reason, Hu QiuSheng turned his sharp gaze to Tang Xiu from head to toe and asked in a mocking tone, “Yuan ChuLing, do you need Me to accompany you send Tang Xiu to the sick bay together?”

“This teacher is fine, we will hang on for a while and head to the sick bay during the break!” Hearing Hu QiuSheng's bone-chilling cold tone, Yuan ChuLing shook her head in a flurry and pulled Tang Xiu back to their seats.

Seeing that Yuan ChuLing and Tang Xiu had returned to their seats, Hu QiuSheng walked slowly to the teacher's table.

After Hu QiuSheng's mild cough, the entire class became silent in the example.

“After discussing with the teacher who served year 3 in the principal's office, Tang Xiu will no longer be a 5th grader, in the next three months, Tang Xiu will go to class 10 to continue his studies.” Hu QiuSheng glanced towards Tang Xiu and Yuan ChuLing before reading aloud the file in his hand.

After hearing Hu QiuSheng's words, Tang Xiu's heart contracted as his face turned deathly pale. Although he said that he did not mind, but being expelled from the class and leaving the class of his own accord were two different things. Furthermore Hu QiuSheng had read out a notice in front of all his classmates, not sparing any consideration for his dignity and feelings. This was like giving Tang Xiu a tight slap on his face, causing Tang Xiu to have indescribable anger and despair.

Yuan ChuLing also did not expect Hu QiuSheng would stop them from coming out just to announce Tang Xiu's dismissal from the class. This made Yuan ChuLing pant as her face flushed red, but glancing at Tang Xiu's deadly white face, she resisted the urge to retaliate.

“This is too good, with Tang Xiu leaving the grade point average we will definitely go up!”

“I've calculated it seriously before, if Tang Xiu is absent from the exam then our grade-5 average grade will be the highest among the rest of the class members. It was because of Tang Xiu's existence that caused our average mark to fall by such a huge gap. ”

……

After Hu QiuSheng finished reading the announcement, the class fell silent for a while before thunderous applause with some students cheering loudly.

Hearing the heated discussion in the classroom, Yuan ChuLing clenched her hands tightly. Yet Tang Xiu's expression was very calm and did not change at all, as if nothing had happened.

“Teacher, Tang Xiu has fully recovered from the aftermath of the car accident so that the results will soon improve, I beg you to help say a few words in the principal's office to retract the decision.” After being silent for a while, Yuan ChuLing suddenly stood up and begged loudly.

“I've listened to this kind of promise so many times now so I won't trust any promises from you and Tang Xiu. In addition, the decisions of the principal and teachers in charge of the approved 3rd year cannot be easily changed or withdrawn. Moreover, I don't believe that Tang Xiu has the ability to raise his value in just three months. “Hu QiuSheng calmly replied as he glared at Yuan ChuLing.
